There is news circulating on social media of trucks spotted in Harare CBD announcing that people should finish their job in the coming 10 days as from the eleventh day from today the country will be moving back to lockdown level 1.
There are rumours circulating saying that the country will be forced to move to level 1 of lockdown after the race alarming figures of COVID-19 cases recorded in the past few days. To further fuel the rumour Mnangagwa ally Gokwe Nembudziya MP Mayor Wadyajena said he was in support of President Mnangagwa’s move to announce going back of the country to level 1. ZANU PF legislator for Gokwe Nembudziya, Justice Mayor Wadyajena has urged President Emmerson Mnangagwa to ban alcohol and tobacco as a measure to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Posting on Twitter this Monday, Wadyajena said: I implore H.E @edmnangagwa to immediately ban & criminalise the sale, possession & consumption of both alcohol & tobacco 
until a COVID cure is found. With local transmissions surging to unprecedented levels, it’s time unpopular decisions are made! We’re too poor to take chances.
