The ugly tribal, factional and succession wars that are devouring President Robert Mugabe’s ruling Zanu-PF have taken another ominous turn as the troubled former liberation movement prepares for its crucial annual conference that kicks off in earnest in Masvingo today.
Indigenization minister Patrick Zhuwao said that he had received death threats related to his recent public criticism of Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Zanu-PF supporters.
