Zanu-PF spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo tells a Press conference that Kembo Mohadi, who resigned as vice-president this week amid a stunning s.e.x scandal, retains his party post. Cde Mohadi’s position in the party is not affected by his resignation from the government. Moyo says Mohadi’s resignation was “unexpected but accepted”.
Mohadi resigned a few days after local publication ZimLive unearthed his relationships with his aide and other women some of them married. Zimbabweans on social media called for him to resign. Mohadi reportedly resigned last week but the government only announced his resignation on Monday.
