A group which claims to represent Zimbabwean Ndebele’s living in South Africa wants their temporary work permits to be extended past the deadline of 2017.
The Rejected Citizens of Zimbabwe group has written to Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba, saying they are being persecuted by the Shona majority in their home country
Group spokesperson Victor Mthethwa says, “We want our own special IDs that are designed for us Ndebeles whilst this situation of the friction between amaNdebele land and the government of Zimbabwe, which is led by the Shona majority is investigated
