Grace Mugabe’s foe dies in horror crash

Former Zanu PF women’s league secretary for administration Espinah Nhari who was a strong ally of embattled Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has died.

Nhari died in an accident on Friday night.

Police spokesperson Chief Superintended Paul Nyathi said the accident, which involved three cars occurred at 135 km peg along Harare Bulawayo road at around 7 pm.

According to Nyathi the deceased was a passenger in a BMW vehicle which was driving towards Kadoma.

The accident involved two other vehicles driving in an opposite direction, a Toyota Hilux and Mazda BT50, when one of the cars tried to overtake resulting in a head-on collision.

Midlands Zanu PF acting chairperson Jorum Gumbo yesterday confirmed the death.

“Yes she died yesterday (Friday). I spent the whole day in meetings and I heard the vice president (Mnangagwa) was there at the funeral — I am also going to join others now, get more information from vice chairperson  Mackenzie Ncube.”

Ncube’s phone was answered by the provincial spokesperson Cornelius Muperiri who also confirmed that Nhari died near Kadoma on her way to Harare.

Nhari, who famously chanted pasi ne G40 at First lady Grace Mugabe’s Gutu rally was recently suspended from Zanu PF for three years
