Farayi Mangwende, a Group Marketing and Strategy Executive at First Mutual Holdings Ltd has been appointed to the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee as chair of the Marketing, Brand Development Er Resource Mobilisation Commission. Pindula News presents the message:

The Zimbabwe Olympic Committee has appointed Farayi Mangwende to their board as chair of the Marketing, Brand Development Er Resource Mobilisation Commission. We wish Farayi all the best in her new role!
Farayi has over 25 years of experience in the Corporate Communications, Marketing, Strategy Formulation and Public Relations field having worked in this discipline in organisations ranging from finance, hospitality, fast-moving consumer goods as well as non-profit making organizations in both Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom.
In addition, she has sub-Saharan Africa exposure from work experience in South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi and Zambia.
Farayi has worked at African Sun Limited, Dairibord Zimbabwe Limited, Zimbabwe Sun Hotels, Michael Hogg Young and Rubicam advertising and PR agency, CFX Financial Services Ltd, Macmillan Cancer Relief (UK) and Thistle Group Of Hotels (UK) where she gained proficiency and expertise in corporate communications, communication strategy formulation and implementation, public relations, media management, crisis management, investor relations and event management.
She holds an MA in Public Communication and Public Relations, National Diploma Mass Communication. She’s also on the Citimed Chitungwiza Hospital board and is a former Trustee of the Culture Fund of Zimbabwe Trust
