Bulawayo City Council announces new rate charges effective February 2022. The City of Bulawayo has advised its customers that the City of Bulawayo 2022 Budget has been approved by the Minister of Local Government and Public Works.

Charges went up with effect from February 2022 as follows:

Domestic Rates 150%
Non Domestic Rates 177%
Domestic water 150%
Non-domestic water 180%
Sewerage 150%
Solid waste management 150%
Non Domestic Solid Waste Management 160%
Admission Fees to Stadia & Swimming Pools 450%
Hire of Council Facilities 450%
Patient Fees for use of an ambulance 450%
Cessation Fees 450%
Shop Licences 450% increase on 2021 Tariffs.
Liquor Licences 450%
Garage Licences 450%
Trading Permits 450%
Route Approval & Development Permits 450%
Inspection Fees & any other licences 450%
Council Rented Properties 250%
Sale of Pit Sand & Precast Products 626%
