Hollywoodbets has just announced that Mzansi’s favourite horse racing event, the Durban July is returning this year with major changes. The prestigious horse racing event which was previously known as the Vodacom Durban July has a new name now and a new sponsor.

Hollywoodbets has just been unveiled as the new official sponsor of horse racing event which is set to take place on Saturday 2 July 2022 at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse. According to Sportingpost’s Commercial Manager for Hollywoodbets, Sandisiwe Bhengu, they are excited to take over as the new sponsor of the horse racing event and the prize money has been increased to R5 million.

“This is a watershed moment for Hollywoodbets as we proudly take the reins of this unique event. The success of our business was built on the foundation of horseracing, and now we are able to continue this legacy with the assistance of a powerful platform. It is a huge honour for us.
