Popular news editor Larry Moyo shares experiences at Harare passport offices. Larry Moyo, a Zimbabwean journalist and the founding editor of the H-Metro tabloid newspaper, Friday went to the Registrar General’s office intending to collect his e-passport applied for on the 4th of February 2022.
He said the application process started at 8.30 am and he was done by 10.30 am on the same day. Moyo was informed that collection would be after 7 working days.
18 February, the day he went to collect his passport is the 10th working day after application. He shared his experiences at the Registrar General’s offices as follows: Scenes at the entrance along Herbert Chitepo.
He said the queue for collection is shorter as highlighted in the picture below. Whilst he was still there, the queue for applications started to get longer than it was when he arrived. See the pictures attached below.
