Nelson Chamisa Attends Burial Of CCC Supporter Murdered At Kwekwe Rally – Photos

Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) change champion in chief, Nelson Chamisa, on Friday graced the funeral of a murdered party member, Mboneni Ncube’s funeral in Sibomvo village Vungu, Midlands Province.Nelson Chamisa

Ncube was stabbed to death by suspected ZANU PF supporters during a CCC campaign rally at Mbizo 4 Shopping Centre in Kwekwe on Sunday afternoon.

Posting on Twitter, Chamisa described Ncube as a great citizen and change champion saying his hope for change is not in vain. He wrote:

I’M IN VUNGU, MIDLANDS…Laying to rest a great Citizen & Change Champion, the murdered Mboneni Ncube. So pained as we mourn with this very loving Ncube family. The young girl Sibonginkosi (pic below) is Mboneni’s only child. Mboneni’s hope for Change is not in vain. RIP champion!

CCC secretary for welfare Maureen Kademaunga also posted on Twitter:

Thank you Champion in Chief, President @nelsonchamisa for taking Mboneni Ncube to his final resting place & for standing with the family whose son’s life was brutally ended by a vigilante group linked to ZANU PF. RIP Mboneni, we will stand until justice is served!

In other news – Former PG Kumbirai Hodzi Suffers Double Stroke

Former Prosecutor General (PG) Kumbirai Hodzi was reportedly forced to resign by officials from the President and Cabinet (OPC) and senior officials from the Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs for alleged incompetence and corruption.

New Zimbabwe reported official and security sources as saying Hodzi had been under pressure since December last year when a dossier, accusing him of corruption and incompetence, was submitted to the OPC and Justice ministry. Learn More
