The Minister of Health and Child Care Dr David Parirenyatwa says the Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who has not been feeling well after complaining of stomach pains during the 6th Presidential Youth Interface Rally held in Gwanda and was rushed to South Africa for treatment, is in a stable condition.
Dr Parirenyatwa has cleared the air following a health scare suffered by Vice President Mnangagwa saying the nation must not panic because the vice president is recovering well and is in a stable condition though still in hospital.
Dr Parirenyatwa was speaking during a media briefing where he was in the company of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Minister Dr Christopher Mushohwe in the capital this Monday.
Dr Parirenyatwa said Mnangagwa had severe stomach pains during the youth interface rally and was rushed to South Africa for treatment where he is recovering well.
Dr Parirenyatwa and Dr Mushohwe also said Zimbabweans will continue to be updated on the condition of Vice President Mnangagwa
