He may be an amateur boxer, but Cassper Nyovest has unashamedly revealed that his sporting idol is professional Mike Tyson. In fact, Cassper has taken his admiration for the athlete to the next level by getting a tattoo of his nickname “Iron Mike”. The rapper showed off the bold new inkings, etched above both his knees over the weekend.
Cassper Nyovest will go up against rival Naakmusiq in a celebrity boxing match this weekend on Saturday 9 April at Sun City’s Super Bowl. The duo will star in a weekend full of match activities and parties called “Celeb City” at the popular tourist destination. In a tweet posted over the weekend, Cassper unveiled the elaborate artwork in tribute to Mike Tyson.
“Iron Mike”, he captioned the pic.
But fans on Twitter were not convinced that it was the best decision to make.
“So the tattoo signifies that he’s the next Mike Tyson? A very ambitious attempt”
“If this is real then I must say education is very important”
“I hope this is fake cos that’s a whack tattoo”
“Not even Mike Tyson would do this…. And he is Iron Mike”
“His fight is going to be a biting affair”
