The man who allegedly killed his wife’s four sisters in Gokwe has since paid six of the 48 beasts that his in-laws are demanding as compensation for the murders.

A family spokesperson, Mr Amson Dlomo, confirmed receiving the beasts.

“We received six beasts from the Dubes. They paid on behalf of their son. We are still looking forward to the payment of the remaining 42 beasts as that is the only way to appease the spirits. Failure to meet those demands will spell doom for those that have the blood of our children on their hands,” said Mr Dlomo.

Dube allegedly went to his in-laws” home brandishing a machete.

He allegedly doused with petrol a bedroom hut where the four girls were sleeping before torching it. The four girls were all burnt beyond recognition.
