Social media users, particularly women, are ready to shoot their shots after Lungile “Uncle Waffles” Zwane revealed her s.e.xuality on Instagram live on Tuesday 19 July.
During her IG live, the Amapiano DJ answered a few questions that her fans were curious about, one of them related to her s.e.xuality.
Responding to a fan, she said:
“I am bisexual. But I am in a heteros.e.xual relationship.”

The DJ’s revelation was welcomed by a number of women who expressed their excitement that they “may have a chance with her” even though she revealed that she has a boyfriend.
“Uncle waffles is bi. My time has come,” one lady wrote.

(@BoipeloMothibi_) The media personality made her mark in the industry last year after a video of her DJing and dancing behind the decks went viral. The viral video also caught the attention of Canadian-born musician Drake, who instantly followed her. He has also appeared in one of her IG lives and tagged her in a post.
In April this year, she and her fans took to Twitter to rubbish transgender rumours which had been started by a Facebook user at the time. Pictures of the 23-year-old star with her transgender dancers at Cotton Fest had raised eyebrows on social media.
Addressing the rumours, she revealed that she is “a proud ally of the trans community.”
“Real question. What do these pictures prove? Instead, you’re trying to bring down people who have nothing to do with this.
“I now have to prove my gender based on my physique and based on a rumour? You guys are so weird. Y’all, without fail will always have something to say,” she said.
