Zimbabwe’s ruling party, ZANU-PF, has pulled another stunt from its campaign bag of tricks following the launch of a perfume brand called Victory Scent.
This comes as the country gears for general elections billed for a date to be advised next year.
The ruling party has become notorious for unusual campaigning stunts. Just recently, social media users were left awestruck after the announcement of Mahwindi for ED. [Touts for ED]
Some unusual campaigning stunts that have managed to provoke conversations include the slashing of rates and water bills owed to city councils and the distribution of COVID-19 masks made from party President Emmerson Mnangagwa branded material.
The latest development has also earned its fair share of criticism.
