National People’s party spokesperson Methuseli Moyo has claimed that the dances which his leader Joice Mujuru has been seen making with the supporters at gatherings show how humble she is.
A video in which Mujuru was seen dancing with supporters has gone viral on social media amid condemnation that her dances were of immoral charactor.
But Moyo said “Just two weeks ago, Dr Joice Teurai Ropa Mujuru, the presidential candidate for the People’s Rainbow Coalition, called on the Bancinyane-Ndiweni family in Bulawsyo’s Entumbane township to console them for the loss of their daughter. When she went to Manjolo in Binga last year for a rally there, she mesmerised all present when she joined in the Tonga traditional dance.”
He said this is just to illustrate her humanity and humility.
“Her dancing at a “she” voter education campaign ceremony in Harare at the weekend is in keeping with her personality. She is a people’s person, umuntu wabantu. Joice is our choice. A president must be a person, not a monster,” he said.
