The Zimbabwe National Army says it will continue training and will remain vigilant and guard against the country’s detractors.
The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) said the force should continue training during peace time to uphold the efforts made by the new dispensation in reviving the economy.
Addressing senior army officers and troops during a pass or parade for section commanders tactics course at Parachute Regiment at Inkomo Barracks, Commander Harare district Colonel Hurdson Muchemwa who was the guest of honour said the new dispensation has made changes on the issue of sanctions which have been reviewed through the re-engagement process by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
“Let’s remain vigilant and alert at all times to defeat those who want to distabilise our peace,” said Colonel Muchemwa.
The course which was hosted by Headquarters Presidential Guard saw 95 non-commissioned officers from various units and formations receiving certificates.
