The Constitutional Court of Zimbabwe will preside over the electoral challenge by MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa next week Wednesday the 22nd of August after the Chief Justice and the parties held a case management meeting this morning.
According to MDC Alliance Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora, Chief Justice Malaba directed that all the necessary administrative procedures be set in place to facilitate the hearing of the case, the first such since Zimbabwe’s independence.
ZBC News caught up with some of the legal team members representing President Emmerson Mnangagwa Cde Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana and Advocate Lewis Uriri who confirmed that the matter will be deliberated from 10am following the meeting with Chief Justice Malaba..
Zimbabweans are waiting for the finalisation of the case to pave way for total focus on development programmes.
