Today, the late National Heroine, Cde Thokozile Mathuthu will be buried at the National Heroes Acre. Cde Mathuthu died at the age of 61 on Heroes Day, on Monday, in Harare after battling cancer.
Zimbabweans from all walks of life have started arriving at Stodart Hall in Mbare where a body viewing procession will take place.
Vice President Kembo Mohadi, his counterpart, Retired General Constantino Chiwenga and service chiefs have arrived.
The body of the national heroine has arrived at Stodart Hall and President Emmerson Mnangagwa, will lead the body viewing procession.
With the body viewing procession happening at the Stodart Hall, some mourners are already at the national shrine, some displaying banners saying a lot about the life of Cde Mathuthu.

After an opening prayer, the Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage, Dr Obert Mpofu asks a family representative to address mourners.
The representative hails Cde Mathuthu as a humble politician, accomplished business women and a member of the SDA church.
President Mnangagwa addressed mourners.He says today the nation bids farewell to a true patriot who died of cancer early last week on Heroes Day.
President Mnangagwa says Cde Mathuthu’s family background gave her the consciousness and she became active in political activities leading to the independence of Zimbabwe in 1980.
The President hails Cde Mathuthu as a peacemaker, who never looked back on her conviction that unity is key to development. She was a strong advocate of women empowerment and a member of the women’s league that in 1999 advocated for greater women participation in national politics.
resident Mnangagwa says the people of Matabeleland and the entire nation will remain proud of the visionary, zeal and enthusiasm that Cde Mathuthu had.
He says the death of Cde Mathuthu, who came out of hospital to go and vote on 30 July before being taken back for treatment, comes after an election victory for the Zanu PF party. He says the ruling party is committed to implementing developmental programmes such as devolution of power in order to revive the economy and create more jobs.
