Usain Bolt’s first training session with the Central Coast Mariners lasted 45 minutes as the Olympic champion eases into his A-League trial.
The cameras were there – local and international media – when Bolt emerged from the tunnel at Central Coast Stadium.
A fair few cheers and some applause greeted his hyped up first appearance, which happily coincided with his 32nd birthday.
“I’m very good at it,” said Bolt, vowing to “prove people wrong”.
