The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) have congratulated President Emmerson Mnangagwa for being elected to lead the country.
Speaking on behalf of the two organisations, Reverend Bakary Camara said he came to congratulate President Mnangagwa and all Zimbabweans in general for the peaceful elections, adding that he wishes all the best to the government on its economic transformation agenda.
Leader of the Apostolic Churches Council of Zimbabwe (ACCZ), which works closely with the UPF, Arch Bishop Johannes Ndanga also congratulated President Mnangagwa and urged Zimbabweans across the political divide to work together for the betterment of the country.
It is now important for the people of Zimbabwe to focus on improving the economy as has been precisely put by the President in his inauguration speech.
