Residents and motorists in Chitungwiza are over the moon following the installation of the town’s first traffic light.
Residents who reside in the southern part of Chitungwiza have showered praises to the municipality and its private partners following the installation of the town’s first traffic light at a busy local intersection popularly known as “C-Junction”.
Some residents and motorists who spoke to the ZBC News say the development will facilitate smooth flow of traffic at the site which had become a menace with accidents on an almost daily basis.
Meanwhile, there has been other traffic related developments in the town which include remarking of traffic signs and road marks while One Way streets have been set up at Makoni Shopping Centre as council authorities seek to reduce congestion and increase traffic efficiency.
