About 200 explosives were intercepted by members of the Republic Police and the immigration officers at Beitbridge Border post on Sunday morning.
Capitalk FM reported that the explosives were reportedly being under the custody of a 38 year old woman who has been arrested in connection to the matter.
More details are yet to be released on the matter but it is highly suspected that the explosives were meant to be sold to small scale miners who have flood majority of rural Matabeleland South.
