Tino Kadewere scores on return. Kadewere scored after just three minutes in their 3-0 win over Chateauroux in the French Ligue 2. “It’s always nice to be back on the field of play and scoring makes it more fun. Le Havre and Warriors striker Tino Kadewere says he is happy to score on his return from injury after missing out in the last four games.

“And I’m so happy that l scored on my return as you know that scoring is fun, “he said. When asked if he wasn’t worried about the injury affecting his form, he said: “It’s every player wish to have an injury-free season but injuries are part of the game.

“I wasn’t worried much about my form because I knew that if I healed properly and trained hard, getting back in form would not be that hard.

“I am just happy to be back and I am thankful to God for that, my family and my coaches for helping me through this time and for their support.” He is now on 19 goals this season and is the leading goal scorer in Ligue 2. He added that he is aiming for a golden boot.

“At the beginning of the season we had targeted as a team and I also had mine. But an injury is always a set back because as a player you would want to achieve something in every game you play.

“But not playing means that you will not be able to do those things but I am just grateful to God that I am back and still the top scorer even after missing some games.

“Sometimes injuries can affect the form that you have been in but if you work hard you will get your results. “My aim is to keep on banging goals as many as l can and maybe win the golden boot. “I just have to work harder and go back to where I am supposed to be,” he said.
