Report: Tsenengamu seeks Muchinguri’s protection. Embattled former ZANU PF Youth Political Commissar Godfrey Tsenengamu says he does not recognize the decision taken by the Politburo to suspend him because it was done outside the constitution of the party.
Writing on Facebook Tsenengamu suggested that he is ready to subject himself to the disciplinary process and not to political structures
“Which party procedure are you referring to which gives the PB powers to handle disciplinary matters? Which procedure are you talking of which gives PEC and PCC to deal with disciplinary matters?” Tsenengamu said. ” Do you even know what the constitution says about all that? Am not even bothered about getting expelled for my conscience is clear. Take your time to read and appreciate the party constitution.”
Oppah Muchinguri is the Chairman of ZANU PF National Disciplinary hearing by virtue of her position. There have been reports that Tsenengamu is a runner for a new faction led by Muchinguri hence his bravery to attend the disciplinary process.
Tseenngamu added that he is not bothered by ZANU PF leaders who are abusing their positions to implement decisions outside the constitution and he was willing to fight them.
“ZANU PF as an institution will never go in the wrong direction but certain individuals will definitely do. If you take your time to read and understand the party constitution you will see no reason in opposing it but the problem comes with some individuals who think that because they are in leadership positions then they can ditch the constitution and do as they wish. That I will oppose vehemently.
“I am not bothered about getting support from those who see no wrong in corruption and evil cartels. Keep your support. I am not even bothered about the numbers that will support the fight for this is not an election. Only political parties do worry about numbers.” He added.
