Fashionista dresses maize stealer teacher. Ms Kate treated Jonathan Chatikobo, a Science teacher at Flaming Grace Christian College to some of her top of the market imports in a bid to revive the man’s ego. Speaking to H-Metro after the handover ceremony, Chatikobo expressed gratitude to members of the public who are continuously showing him love.
Businesswoman and fashion designer Cathy Muchena of Ms Kate Inc yesterday extended her helping hand towards a Waterfalls teacher who went viral for stealing maize cobs.
“I am just grateful to what people of Zimbabwe are doing to extend their love towards me and trying to get me on my feet. “I have repented and am already making progress towards a better life around. “God should bless Ms Kate for dressing me,” he said.
The school teacher was charged US$10 for the eight maize cobs he stole. According to his principal at the college Faustine Svuvure, most of the help towards Chatikobo’s upkeep has come through rapper Mudiwa Hood and a few individuals.
The rapper recently tweeted that from the donations, Chatikobo’s rentals for the year has been paid and his house has been refurbished. Help has also been extended to the private college. Despite the drama, Chatikobo is rated as one the sharpest minds producing high O-Level grades at the institution.
