Zambian church leader showers Mai Mnangagwa with praise over her love for Churches and praying. AMAI Auxillia Mnangagwa deserves to represent Africa and her humility and prayerful life has proved it through her visits to several churches, a Zambian church leader has said.
The Zambian Prophetic Healing and Deliverance ministry group leader Hizzie Nazombe said this soon after Amai Mnangagwa’s speech at the Night of Restoration held at Phd base in Waterfalls on Friday.
Addressing thousands of PHD ministries from the region, Amai Mnangagwa noted the role played by the church in upholding moral values, peacebuilding and cultivating good behaviour among people. “As worshippers, we should all continue praying in order to maintain peace in our countries and unlock blessings for our nations,” said Amai Mnangagwa.
“We hope God will grant us more through love and peaceful co-existence. “As a mother, I remain very apolitical and passionate about addressing the challenges affecting each and every citizen of Zimbabwe,” she said. She joined PHD members in kneeling down in prayer and some of the members including Nazombe were captured glancing at her to follow if she was praying.
Nazombe described Amai Mnangagwa as a true shepherd destined to shape Africa considering her position of Africa’s First Ladies Vice President. “I admire leaders like Amai Mnangagwa who sacrificed her time during the night to join us in praying and her recognition on the role played by the church shows that she is a true shepherd,” said Nazombe.
“If local churches and those from the region support her I have no doubt that she will change Africa and beyond and she deserves to represent Africa. “To be honest with you I took my time to follow if she was praying when she knelt down and I noticed that she was giving her heart in prayer to God and with prayer all things are possible. “I thank her for gracing our prayer meeting and hope to see her one day in Zambia,” he said.
Amai Mnangagwa showered praises to Yadah Voices in leading the multitudes into praise and worshipping.
Amai Mnangagwa called all churches to participate in her Cyclone Idai campaign dubbed Poto neNdiro urging them to see the need to bring life to victims of the cyclone that tok lives and left many homeless and physically and economically challenged. “On March 15 last year, Zimbabwe was ravaged by Tropical Cyclone Idai, which left a trail of destruction in Chipinge and Chimanimani where hundreds of people have swept away and infrastructure destroyed.
