Mambo’s Chicken makes a hilarious joke about Thai Coronavirus suspect who escaped at Wilkins Hospital. It’s hard to miss Mambo’s Chicken ‘We Have Found The Thigh‘, an allusion to near dramatic events which took place in the country concerning the Coronavirus.

Fast food retail Mambo’s Chicken has once again resorted to satire and humour, to diffuse an otherwise tense situation which had the whole country on their toes. This comes after a Thai national who was suspected to be infected with Coronavirus showed up at Wilkins Hospital after the authorities had launched a manhunt for him.

The visitor from Thailand is said to have started displaying symptoms of the virus with elevated body temperature. He was submitted for coronavirus testing at the Wilkins Hospital but fled before he could be tested.

Panic ensued, with the government engaging the police, immigration officials and citizens in trying to locate him. However, he turned himself at day’s end and got tested for the virus. His results came out negative and he was released from the hospital.

Meanwhile on a serious note, WHO has called on industry and governments to increase manufacturing of medical equipment by 40 per cent to meet rising global demand.

The World Health Organisation has warned that severe and mounting disruption to the global supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) — caused by rising demand, panic buying, hoarding and misuse — is putting lives at risk from the new coronavirus and other infectious diseases.

Shortages are now leaving doctors, nurses and other frontline workers dangerously ill-equipped to care for Covid-19 patients, due to limited access to supplies such as gloves, medical masks, respirators, goggles, face shields, gowns, and aprons.
