Maps Maponyane has had to set the record straight after a fan assumed that he had rekindled his romance with ex Nomzamo Mbatha.
It was all bad case of mistaken identity for the Buns Out owner who dated the actress a few years ago (even though they tried to convince us they were just friends) after which they called it quits and moved on.
It all began when Maps posted a pic of himself embracing a woman – who quite honestly looked like it was Nomzamo from the back. Enter fan who reacted with pure joy after assuming her two faves were back together.
She wrote in the comment section; “Oh my God I was praying for you and Nomzamo to get back together. My prayer has been answered my favourite couple”.
It was probably a super awkward thing to do, but Maps had to burst her bubble by correcting her innocent error. Playing it cool, he replied; “Nah, that’s just ….”, where he tagged the name of the actual woman he’d hugged. Do you think Nomzamo & Maps should get back together?
