Award Winning South African Afro-pop ensemble, Mafikizolo, are expected in Zimbabwe this afternoon ahead of their potentially explosive gig tomorrow at Belgravia Sports Club in Harare
Mafikizolo, headlined by Theo Kgosinkwe and Nhlanhla Nciza, staged a memorable show in 2013 at the same venue and this time they will be sharing the stage with another SA’s most sought-after rapper, KO, who is expected to arrive tomorrow courtesy of 2 Kings Entertainment.
Dee Nosh of 2 Kings Entertainment said the musicians will visit selected low and high-density suburbs to meet their fans soon after their arrival.
He urged fans to buy their tickets in advance to avoid pressure on the day of the show as he discouraged gate purchases which were bound to cause unnecessary congestion with people ending up losing their valuables.
Dee Nosh said tickets, which are selling for $10 and $15, are available at all Coloursel Furniture shops in the city centre, Newlands, Borrowdale and Chitungwiza as well as Sopranos Restaurant in Avondale and University of Zimbabwe campus.
Mafikizolo is expected to share the stage with Winky D and Jah Prayzah, among other Zimbabwean artistes.
