How MacG helped Celeste Ntuli’s career

South African actress Celeste Ntuli is arguably the biggest comedian in the country and sells out week in week out. To our surprise, in an interview with David Mashabela, she revealed that going to MacG’s podcast helped her career a lot.

Celeste had booked shows in Cape Town and her tickets were not moving, luckily for her – the famous episode on Podcast And Chill came out the Thursday and all her weekend shows sold out.

“That guy sold a show for me. I was going to Cape Town when I did that show with him and I don’t know if you understand, when it came out I was going to Cape Town the following week and I had only sold 10 tickets for 3 days. When it came out, on the Saturday I was sold out, and on the Friday I was full house,” she told David Mashabela.

“He is so amazing, which is why I wanted to work with him on the promoting of the big show.”

Speaking about MacG, the podcaster received backlash for the controversial comments he made about Minnie Dlamini and exotic dancer Zodwa Wabantu.

Minnie has been trending this week after controversial Twitter blogger Musa Khawula, accused her of allegedly cheating on Quinton.

In a clip from the latest episode of Podcast and Chill With MacG, the podcaster dragged Minnie and Zodwa Wabantu for filth and said there is no difference between them.

He made startling accusations against them and claimed he doesn’t hate IT girls, but they must not sell people dreams. “There is no difference between Minnie Dlamini and Zodwa Wabantu, they both sell p*ssy… One owns it, one doesn’t,” he said.

This young deejay, Uncle Waffles knows how to pull crowds and get the party going with her great mixes, her killer dance moves, and her general vibe and she is currently one of the top female deejays in the country.

As expected with the rise in her popularity, Uncle Waffles’ personal life is something of interest to the public who want to know everything about who Uncle Waffles’ boyfriend is, if she has one, her relationship history as well as her family and background.

This article addresses the question of whether or not Uncle Waffles is dating, and if she is who is the lucky man who won her heart.

Who is Uncle Waffles’ boyfriend?

As of May 2022, the identity of Uncle Waffles’ boyfriend is not known as she has not disclosed if she is dating anyone. There is a possibility that she is single, and if she is in a relationship then she has kept her love life very private.

In the past, there were a few speculations that Uncle Waffles and DJ Slade were dating. DJ Slade used to be managed by Kreative Kornerr management which also manages Uncle Waffles before he left the management earlier in 2022.

There were also speculations that Uncle Waffles was dating one of the Major League twins after social media police noticed that one of the twins was holding the waist of Uncle Waffles in a picture that was shared by the late Riky Rick. The artists had been at the Remy Martin Team Up Dinner.

Uncle Waffles is yet to address these two dating claims up to now, and whether either DJ Slade or the Major League twin is Uncle Waffles’ boyfriend are just rumours.

Uncle Waffles and Drake

Uncle Waffles’ fame got a huge boost a couple of weeks ago after internationally acclaimed rapper- Drake mentioned her on his Instagram story, the rapper has over 100 million followers.

The Gods Plan hitmaker first caught wind of Uncle Waffles and followed her on Instagram after Uncle Waffles’ “People are burning” video went viral on Twitter.

The latest mention by Drake has had Mzansi talking for days with some believing that Drake might have a little crush on Waffles while some saw it as a sign of a possible partnership and collaboration between the two.

Whichever case it is, we are sure time will reveal to us whatever we cannot see now.

Uncle Waffles and the LGBTQ community

While most of Mzansi love Uncle Waffles, there are those few people who will always find a reason to hate and throw shade at celebrities, and Uncle Waffles is their latest victim.

After her performance at the Cotton Fest where she danced with dancers who openly identify as members of the LGBTQ, a few social media trolls started a rumour that Uncle Waffles is transgender.

While her fans came to her defense and shut down the trolls, Uncle Waffles who is known to be a supporter of the LGBTQ community, also went to Twitter and clapped back at the naysayers for always looking for something to say even when there is nothing to say.

No ‘Happy Birthday’ message for Pearl Thusi from DJ Zinhle

$
0

Africa’s number 1 female DJ, DJ Zinhle has topped the Twitter trends list after fans noticed that she did not wish Pearl Thusi a happy birthday.

Pearl celebrated her 34th birthday yesterday and normally, DJ Zinhle would send her a sweet birthday shoutout, but this time around it was different. Fans are hurt that she did not show her love on her birthday but others say maybe she wished a happy birthday privately.

Melldlamini wrote: “DJ Zinhle is that friend who will always choose herself not friendship. She’s not afraid to wall away from friendships when they are no longer good for her. She’d rather be alone than faking sh*t.”

By now it is clear that DJ Zinhle and Pearl are seemingly beefing. The pair trended just last week as fans were dragging Zinhle for allegedly being a mean girl.

A few tweets garnered a lot of interaction and claimed that the friendship couldn’t work because of DJ Zinhle’s alleged controlling ways. Apparently, they had a falling out when Pearl refused to dance to her tunes. Nomusa took to Twitter and wrote, “Also, I think DJ Zinhle wants to be the main character in the friendship hence she’s now closer to Nomuzi who doesn’t seem to have so much going for herself. I’m invested in the gossip

Elle maShandu wrote “If you remember on that show which Pearl hosted on BET… Pearl literally sucked up to Zinhle. Zinhle even mentioned that Pearl initiated the friendship and asked to be her friend. I don’t think that Zinhle pursues anyone, they run after her like little poodles…Nomuzi even.”

Mrs Nooks wrote “DJ Zinhle is just self centered according to my observations. She’s one of those friends who always wants to be licked. Pearl was always showing affection and love to her, but she was just always bitchy towards the girl, o nale bo snaaks nyana maan.”

Fans have been speculating that the pair is beefing. The two were inseparable and were all over each other’s social media accounts celebrating each other’s wins.

But of late it has been silent with the other minding their own business and partying with Zari The Boss Lady and Swanky, and the other only posting her other two friends, Moozlie and Thabsie. So, are they still friends but work is keeping them away from each other or is the trouble brewing? One thing is for sure they do make time for other people, but not for each other which is worrisome.

Things have been going great for former housemate Themba Mabaso, since leaving the show. Themba, who was a fan favourite from the first day of the show in January, has just released a collaborative EP with Durban’s finest DJ Tira. The two dropped the project, titled Ghost EP, on Friday, 13 May.

Both DJ Tira and Themba took to social media to promote the album and their leading single Uyangifaka, featuring Skye Wanda, Prince Bulo, and Q Twins. The EP also features Sizwe Mdlalose and LaSoulMates.

Themba will also be part of the Afrotainment Durban July marquee, that is celebrating its 10-year anniversary alongside Naak MusiQ, Tbo Touch, Bontle Modiselle, Linda Mtoba, and Gugu Khathi.

The 30-year-old tattoo artist came out in third place on Big Brother Mzansi and after leaving, his fans opened a GoFundMe account and raised over R200 000 for him.

When joining the show, he had said he was going to use the R2 million cash prize to kick-start his music career. So when he didn’t win, they tried to raise money for him to do what he wanted to do.

Late former President Robert Mugabe’s children wins Mugabe reburial case

HIGH Court judges of appeal on Thursday ruled in favour of the late former President Robert Mugabe‘s children who are challenging the exhumation of their father’s remains for re-burial at the National Heroes Acre.

Bona Mutsahuni, Tinotenda and Bellarmine were challenging an order for the exhumation of Mugabe’s remains and confiscation of their livestock as ordered by Chief Zvimba, Stanley Mhondoro.

In the judgment, Justices Amy Tsanga and Fatima Maxwell ruled against Chinhoyi magistrate Ruth Moyo who had ruled Mugabe’s children had no rights to appeal against a judgment handed by the traditional court against their mother, Grace.

In May 2021, Chief Zvimba ordered the exhumation of Mugabe from his rural home. The court also fined Grace for breaking burial rites and defaulting.

A messenger of court was granted authority to seize five heifers and a goat, which the Zvimba chief said was for cleansing of the country.

Bona and her siblings were aggrieved by the ruling and took the matter to court. Bona said she was duly appointed executor to the estate of her father, hence her interest in the matter.

The appeal at the lower court was challenged by Tinos Manongovere, a villager who initiated the matter. The magistrates upheld Manongovere’s challenge. Bona and her siblings then appealed against the ruling at the High Court which ruled in their favour.

“In the context of customary law, the court finds no absurdity in allowing any person aggrieved by a decision of a community court to appeal against it, even though the aggrieved person was not a party in proceedings before the community court,” the judges ruled.

“The court below erred in restricting the right of appeal to persons who were parties in proceedings before the community court. On the basis of the above, the first and second grounds of appeal succeed.

“The appeal be and is hereby allowed with costs. The judgment of the court a quo is set aside and is substituted as follows, the first preliminary point be and is hereby dismissed and costs be in the cause.”

The judges also referred the matter back to Chinhoyi Magistrates Court for continuation of the hearing.

During the hearing, Bona and her siblings argued that no one except them had the authority over their father’s grave, warning that anyone who would tamper with it would be committing a criminal offence as outlined in the Burial Act.

Through their lawyer, Tawanda Zhuwarara, Mugabe’s children insisted that the lower court must first determine if the traditional leader who ordered the exhumation and reburial had the rights to do so.

Mugabe died aged 95 in September 2019 and was buried at Kutamba after his family refused to have him interred at the National Heroes Acres.

12 Mugodhi church members on the run

POLICE have launched a manhunt for 12 Mugodhi Apostolic Faith Church members over the violence that erupted at the church’s headquarters during Easter. The suspects are all members of a faction led by Washington Mugodhi who allegedly assaulted a rival faction on April 14 as the fight for control of the church turned ugly.

Five church members were arrested and taken to Marondera Magistrates Court on public violence charges. They were remanded to May 20 on $15 000 bail each. According to police, the majority of the suspects are from Masvingo province.

The suspects were identified in a video that was shot during the melee at the shrine.
The church has been rocked by a bitter leadership wrangle following the death of Thadeau Mugodhi in 2019.

The late Mugodhi had appointed his son Washington as successor, a move that angered other sect members who described it as unconstitutional.

One Tonny Sigauke, who claimed to be the rightful heir according to the church constitution, has taken Washington to court for clinging to the throne.

In September 2021, High Court judge Justice Esther Muremba ruled that Sigauke did not have authority to represent the church while Washington’s appointment was declared null and void.

A look into Somhale divorce

$

South African media personality, Somizi Mhlongo is one of the most famous celebrities in South Africa which is why his past relationship has been one of the most talked subjects amongst Mzansi celebs.

Between 2017 and 2021, Somgaga was in a highly-publicized relationship where we saw him get engaged, get married, and sadly divorced.

Here is a timeline of Somizi Mhlongo’s divorce and a look back at the first relationship he ever publicized that unfortunately ended in tears.

The Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung marriage

After decades of keeping his love life private, Somizi shook Mzansi when in 2017 he introduced Mohale Motaung as his boyfriend.

Somizi and Mohale were one of those couples whose relationship kept reminding us why being in love is a good thing.

The couple used to serve nothing but hot couple goals and they quickly became one of Mzansi’s favourite couples and they were affectionately referred to as Somhale.

After one year of dating, Somizi proposed to Mohale while the two were on vacation in Paris and Mohale said “yes.”

2019 was a good year for the now-divorced couple. They had their traditional wedding in September followed by a lavish reception party.

The couple did not spare any costs for the traditional wedding ceremony which was reportedly held at Somizi’s parents’ home followed by an elaborate reception at Kibler Park, Johannesburg which was attended by A-listers in the industry including Pearl Thusi, Cassper Nyovest, Khanyi Mbau, Kelly Khumalo and Bonang Matheba.

On 30 January 2020, the couple had their white wedding in Muldersdrift. Like the traditional wedding, the couple’s white wedding was also an extravagant affair and one of the most expensive celebrity weddings in South Africa. The wedding was broadcast on Showmax with many viewers tuning in to catch a glimpse of the fairytale wedding.

As the couple began their happily ever after with the blessings of their family and friends, nobody saw Mohale and Somizi Mhlongo’s divorce coming and when it did, it left their fans in shock.

But the Mohale Motaung and Somizi Mhlongo’s divorce did not happen until after the couple had celebrated their first anniversary.

Somizi Mhlongo’s divorce

After months of speculations that Somizi and Mohale’s marriage was on the rocks, the Idols SA judge came out and confirmed their split after Mohale Motaung’s leaked interview where he accused Somizi of being abusive and controlling went viral.

Besides the abuse allegations, Mohale and Somizi’s divorce which was heavily publicized given the couple’s status as public figures.

Although Somizi went on the record and denied abusing his ex-husband, tweeps had already taken sides in the separation and some.

Part of Mohale Motaung and Somizi Mhlongo’s divorce settlement included the couple going through a mediation process in which it is reported that Somizi refused to participate in after Mohale asked him not to air their dirty laundry in public.

A source has since revealed that the Mohale-Somizi divorce proceedings will be heard at the Johannesburg High Court and we can expect more drama. Even though the couple were married into a community of property and they are expected to share their property 50-50, it is reported that Mohale only wants nothing from Somizi except a car since Somizi allegedly destroyed his car.

Citizens coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa blames President Mnangagwa

$

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa is being haunted by the 2018 legitimacy crisis that has seen the economy imploding and plunging the country into chaos, opposition Citizens’ Coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa has said.

Chamisa, who is on a countrywide tour to interact with party structures, said life has become difficult for Zimbabweans across the country because of policy inconsistency and noise in the cockpit as exhibited by Mnangagwa’s “usurpation” of central bank governor John Mangudya’s powers to announce key pronouncements relating to monetary issues.

“There is no money in the banks, banks have been banned from lending, yet it is one of the main reasons they exist. Let us deal with the confidence issue, micro-economic stability issues. There is lack of confidence because of policy inconsistency, policy instability and policy noise in the cockpit. You can’t have a president announcing measures ordinarily announced by the central bank,” the former Information Communication Technology minister said.

“We can’t have the central bank governor’s powers usurped by a president who acts as if he doesn’t know his role. General policy arrogance, not listening to stakeholders like the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC), bankers and others who gave sound advice and suggestions is problematic.

“Policymaking must be consensual and broad-based. Listen to the cries of business, labour, students and the citizens on issues they want addressed,” he said.

Last weekend, Mnangagwa announced a raft of measures meant to halt the slide of the beleaguered Zimbabwe dollar, including stopping banks from lending, which analysts described as ill-advised.

Mnangagwa, who has repeatedly claimed that saboteurs are determined to make the economy scream and justify a regime change agenda, blames banks for flooding the financial system with excess funds, fueling the currency slide and inflation.

“The way forward is for the country to change direction and choose leadership that is fit for purpose. There is no confidence in the current national stewards,” Chamisa said.

The exchange rate of any nation is a mirror of which confidence levels are gauged and it is clear with what has been happening that confidence levels are at their lowest and this is a leadership issue, a legitimacy issue.”

“To govern, you need the consent of the governed. It doesn’t matter even if you have the instruments of power, if you do not have the consent of the governed, the economy will scream and freak out as we are seeing; business will scream and freak out, citizens will scream and freak out. Those are consequences of lack of legitimacy.”

“People will continue to scream and freak out until the situation is right. Even civil servants are screaming and freaking out. Is that the Zimbabwe we want?”

Chamisa said salaries have been eroded, inflation is sky-rocketing while prices are already wreaking havoc, all indicating serious economic trouble.

“What we need is to fix the country, restoring confidence and finding a political solution. That is why I am calling for the pre-election pact on reforms (Prepare) ahead of the 2023 elections so that we don’t have a disputed election.”

“Zimbabwe is the only country in Africa, if not globally, where an election process is not agreed on. That is why it has a disputed outcome. We need frameworks; ours is problematic because there is no agreement on the nature of the election and, even by its own admission, that is why Zanu-PF called for the Political Actors’ Dialogue (Polad) platform, which is a wrong answer for a good question. The answer is a legitimate platform for engagement.”

“Those in government are engineers of chaos. The economic sabotage is authored in government. That is where it is produced. It is a leadership crisis and Zimbabwe has been in this predicament for over two decades, but it is fundamentally a governance issue, a leadership problem.”

“Our country doesn’t have a leader and that is the bigger problem. We are looking for a unifier, a leader, a peacemaker and, if you look at all these things, they are not present in the man occupying the office of the President.”

Man disguises as woman, gets married for 16 months

$

A Honde Valley man disguised himself as a woman and got married for 16 good months while performing all the duties expected of a new bride, only being caught when playing for a women’s soccer team and being identified by people from his old village.

The man at the centre of the storm, Morris Muchena, disguised himself as Emily Muswere from Murehwa and pretended to be married to Andrew Chafa.

Morris was finally exposed in Honde Valley during a recent female soccer match between his team and another one from Chisuko Village — which happens to be his original village.

The nimble-footed Morris mesmerised football fans with his moves and dexterity. With the spotlight beamed on him, his childhood peers identified him and let the cat out of the bag.

Morris was summoned by village head Madzinga, Mr Webster Mhuru, for a hearing. Feeling cornered, Morris sheepishly confessed that he was indeed a man who had disguised himself as a woman. He bizarrely claimed to be a member of a satanic cult and claimed that he changes into a woman during the night in order to satisfy his “husband” in bed.

One of the soccer players who were in the match that was Morris’ undoing said they challenged him to remove his wig but he adamantly refused.

“We challenged him to remove his wig, but he refused. He said if he removed it he would disappear for 24 hours. We were frightened and waited for his “husband” to come.

“When Andrew arrived, he was shocked. He said he had not realised that he was sharing the same bed with a man. Andrew said it was the end of their marriage,” the neighbouring player said on condition of anonymity.

Another player chipped in: “We were so happy to have such a player on our team. He would dribble past three players before scoring and we were so proud of our star. He would always have a wig on, partially covering his face.”

Members of the Chafa family and villagers interviewed said they had suspected that Morris — alias Emily — was a man due to his masculinity.

Village head Madzinga said: “This is an abomination. Andrew got married to ‘Emily’ around November 2020. His family came to me and announced that they were welcoming a new bride into their home.

“I gave them the nod to proceed with the bride welcoming ceremony. I did not attend the ceremony, but I heard the celebrations went on very well.

However, some questioned the new bride’s sexual orientation. Murmurs of disapproval were coming from around the village, but there was no way to prove if ‘Emily’ was a man or a woman.

“The recent soccer match exposed him. Female soccer players from Chisuko clashed with our local team and ‘Emily’ featured in our team. However, a player from Chisuko who grew up with Morris positively identified him.
She queried why the local team had fielded a man. Everyone was taken aback by her claims. Upon the realisation that he had been exposed, Morris hid behind the women and covered himself with a cloth,” said Mr Madzinga.

He added: “A few days later, Morris’ relatives travelled from Chisuko and came to my place, saying they were looking for him. They said Morris had been evasive when they called him. He was no longer picking up their calls.

“They asked to be led to the Chafa homestead to meet Morris but I sent people to summon him to my homestead. When he came, dressed like a woman, he denied knowing his two relatives. However, after being quizzed, he later confessed that he is a man,” said Mr Madzinga.

It is said Morris chronicled how he was initiated by a Harare friend into a satanic cult that enables him to turn into a woman whenever ‘her husband’ wants to be intimate with ‘her’.

He said following the initiation, he started having weird dreams; before meeting Andrew falling in love with him.

It also emerged that Morris was a teacher at a private school in Harare before he stopped reporting for duty at the time of his ‘marriage’.

Citizens Coalition for Change spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere speaks out

The opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has warned that Zimbabwe is becoming “riskier, bad for investment, deathly uncertain and volatile with low returns” following President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s “illegal decree” of banning banks from lending local currency or foreign currency.

Mnangagwa last Saturday announced a raft of measures including suspending banks from lending local currency or foreign currency, to government and the private sector, including corporates, other legal entities and individuals in an effort to arrest the skyrocketing inflation in Zimbabwe. Lawyers and economic activists have since warned that the President’s decision was going to have a catastrophic impact on the economy which is already struggling.

The domestic currency which is officially quoted at 173 against the U.S. dollar. The Zim dollar has, however, continued to slide on the black market, where it is trading between 350 and 450 to the greenback.

Addressing journalists in Harare, CCC spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere warned that Mnangagwa’s measures were going to harm investment prospects. Zimbabwe is now riskier, bad for investment-deathly uncertain and volatile with low returns,” Mahere said.

“Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce has already warned that the measures will give rise to a parallel banking system with usurious interest rates. No investor would be attracted to an economy where lending can be suspended overnight . Businesses rely on borrowing for short term financing and operational needs.

“Lending is required to import raw materials, pay salaries, working capital requirements and machinery. It is therefore clear that the suspension of lending will adversely affect the solvency of companies, who, without notice, will have to shrink their working capital base.

Mahere further said: “The measures thus have obvious catastrophic consequences- for some it will mean they will not be able to make a simple electronic transfer of money until they have extinguished their overdraft facilities. The opposition party said the measure would also negatively impact productivity and capacity utilization.

“No economy can survive without access to working capital. Analysts have warned that there is a strong likelihood that an underground lending economy will emerge driven by greed and sympathy.

“There is a window for banks to approach the RBZ for considerations on what they term as a ‘case by case’ basis to vary these measures for selected corporates potential for abuse and uneven application of the policy. Such an approach is arbitrary and can lend itself to corruption,” she said.

Liverpool win the FA Cup

Liverpool remain in the hunt for a historic quadruple after winning the FA Cup following another Wembley penalty shootout against Chelsea.

Jurgen Klopp’s side repeated their Carabao Cup final victory in February, the decisive moment coming when Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson saved Mason Mount’s spot-kick, leaving Kostas Tsimikas to secure Liverpool’s second trophy of the season.

The Reds are still in the Premier League title race and have the Champions League final to come against Real Madrid.

Liverpool had the better of an eventful final, with the outstanding Luis Diaz and Andrew Robertson hitting the woodwork, although it may come at a price with Mohamed Salah going off injured in the first half and Virgil van Dijk going off after 90 minutes.

It is a devastating blow for Chelsea and manager Thomas Tuchel to lose in this manner yet again, having had chances with Marcos Alonso hitting the post and also being denied by Alisson.

When Edouard Mendy saved Senegal team-mate Sadio Mane’s penalty in the shootout, when the Liverpool forward only needed to score to win the FA Cup, it just seemed for one moment that the Reds’ assault on four trophies might just be interrupted.

Alisson put Liverpool back on course when he saved from Mount, who was inconsolable as Tsimikas sent the Liverpool fans wild by converting the final penalty.

Once again Liverpool had prevailed against fiercely disciplined and determined opponents, even though they lost Salah to what looked like a muscle injury before half-time and Van Dijk did not emerge for extra time.

It remains to be seen how serious those problems are but at present it looks like Liverpool can overcome most obstacles put in front of them, even though it once again took penalties to claim their first FA Cup since 2006.

Luis Diaz was the game’s outstanding player, running Chelsea ragged and peppering Mendy’s goal with efforts until he was substituted, exhausted, to a standing ovation.

Klopp refers to his players as “mentality monsters” and this illustrates why. Players from both sides gave so much that they were almost out on their feet at the final whistle.

Manchester City remain favourites in the Premier League, three points ahead and with a superior goal difference, and this was a strength-sapping occasion that will have taken much out of Liverpool before they face Southampton at St Mary’s on Tuesday.

What we do know, though, is that Liverpool possess remarkable powers of resilience and recovery as they continue their march on history.

In the last few days,  Mai Titi and her husband have been the talk of the town after it was revealed that Tinashe Maphosa has been hitting on other women on social media. Mai Titi has however chosen to defend her husband in a lengthy note. She wrote…

Amongst the most beautiful you chose me. Those with big bums and hips you still chose me .
The holier than thou you still chose me.

Our past is nothing new to us , you were still searching and I was still searching. Unfortunately they did not respond to the messages because the ring wasn’t meant for them .

I had my past wich I never hide from you and I’m glad you know it but still it did not stop us from walking down the Aisle.

Having a husband is not an achievement but a blessing from God thts why you see some people bitter and angry because that blessing is something they all wish for but unfortunately it’s not happening.

I brag about you because you also do the same with me , we met for a short time coming from the worst past but we connected as if it was 10 years later .

I’m not going to put you on a leash because you are not a dog but remember everything you do is watched and the mission is to destroy so nomatter how honest it is , it shall be used against us.

For a moment I went mad not because of a mere comment but because of the twist from that.
I apologize for being mad at you and wanting to leave but what am I leaving for ? Your past ? Hell no.

You were trying your luck and God finally landed you to me . They say you are not their class yet they are fighting for us to break up and claiming you also passed through them, Even if you passed through Jezebel my dear husband I also passed through Pharaoh.

Mukadzi anorambirwa chihure same applies to Murume but chihure chako I’m yet to see it.
Couples go through the worst so this is just one of those.

Tinashe Maphosa I still thank you for choosing me infront of all the Malaika’s nobody will destroy what they never built.

God-Ordained this, no form of Force shall break it . I’m the ruling Queen, of an Amazing King .

Our Marriage is recorded in Heaven. In God s favorite Diary🪶

Yours For eternity Felistas Maphosa.

Somizi & Mohale were not legally married

South African reality TV stars Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung’s divorce proceedings have allegedly hit a glitch after it was revealed that the two never registered their marriage with the department of home affairs.

Mhlongo also revealed on his reality television show, Living the Dream with Somizi that his highly publicized wedding has not been registered.

Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo met with a legal adviser, Hopewell Sathekge on his reality TV show to seek advice on legalising his divorce from Mohale Motaung after it was revealed that the couple never signed their wedding certificate as the pastor forgot to bring the papers on their wedding day in January 2020.

“I knew with the marriage there would be challenges, naturally, but there are challenges where you can see that this is going to hell. So when they told us that the pastor did not bring the certificates, I was like look at God!”

Sources close to the radio personalities have revealed to a local publication that the non-existent marriage certificate has caused a delay in their divorce proceedings.

“Their lawyers are in negotiations because there is a large estate at stake here.”

“The biggest issue is that the marriage is not registered and, naturally, it would fall under customary law, but that is something Mohale is struggling with because he is not in possession of a letter proving that lobola was paid for him.”

Motaung’s family has taken a back seat as they never approved of their relationship.

They never liked the relationship from the go, forged a front for Mohale’s sake, and even gave Mhlongo his lobola back to him because they did not approve of the union, according to the source.

Another source told the publication that no one is coming forward with a letter proving that lobola was paid even though they had a traditional wedding in September 2019 before their white wedding.

The lobola letter would make Motaung’s case easy as he needs to prove that they were at least married in customary law.

It is also reported that Mhlongo is refusing to give Motaung other available receipts to prove they were married as he stands to lose more in their divorce.

Motaung also has to prepare for a high court application to have his marriage recognized legally before the divorce can continue, according to the publication.

He could also gather witnesses in the absence of the lobola letter to prove his marriage, the application costs about R120 000.

Customary law expert Galaletsang Phakedi of Phakedi Attorneys told the publication that an application for recognition of the marriage through the court is the solution in the absence of a lobola letter.

“Proof of marriage can be done through affidavits and photographs.”

“The emissaries of the spouse(s) who were present during the negotiations must be asked to depose to the affidavits.”

“If the money was paid in cash, affidavits must be detailed enough to explain what happened on the day of the negotiation and the circumstances which led to the loss of the lobola letter.”

Phakedi also said Motaung can also get documents or SMS’s in his possession where the choreographer referred to him as his husband, medical aid forms where he added him as a spouse or any other available information which proves that they referred to each other as husbands.
