In a letter dated 26 October 2021 addressed to Doves Holdings Zimbabwe and copied to the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission, Insurance and Pensions Commission and Zimbabwe Council of Chiefs, the family of the late Chimwamurombe, through their lawyers Chimwamurombe Legal Practice, demanded that the funeral parlour accepts that it made a grave error and take corrective action.

Doves has been threatened with legal action by the family of the late Brian Chimwamurombe, who was reportedly buried in a “mass grave” at Granville cemetery (Ku Mbudzi) by the funeral parlour after it presented his family with a coffin without a corpse for burial. The letter reads:

RE: MISREPRESENTATION OF BURIAL OF THE LATE MAXWELL CHIMWAMUROMBE

We refer to the above and we represent Brian Chimwamurombe and his family. Please note our legal interests. We wish to draw your attention to the fact that your high-powered delegation which included 2 Directors, The Human Resources Executive, the Group Public Relations Manager and the Chaplin approached our office creating a perception of acknowledging your organisation’s negligent, injurious and criminal conduct.

Our clients availed themselves all the way from the rural areas in Avilla and Kanyimo, Nyanga, with the conciliation expectation of a repentant and sympathetic organisation. We cannot say that was achieved. Your delegation blew hot and cold when asked by our Mr Gombiro whether they accepted the facts amounting to your criminal, negligent and injurious conduct.

For the sake of completeness, we will revisit the facts as we contend as follows:

Your organisation presented our clients with a coffin without a corpse for burial.
Your organisation realised 3 days after the burial that the body was still in the mortuary.
Your organisation kept quiet about the body it had from March 2021 to August 2021 (approximately 6 months).
Your organisation in a completely bizarre and potently callous and criminal manner proceeded to conceal evidence by burying our client’s relative without their knowledge and consent with a pauper at Granville cemetery (Ku Mbudzi).

In a more shocking and completely unheard-of move, the burial was a ‘mass grave’ type of burial. We are advised that our client’s relative was either buried in the same coffin with the pauper or buried in the same grave. All circumstances the burial being utterly disrespectful and demeaning the Chimwamurombe family. One cannot rule out ritualism.

Your high-powered delegation only accepted the fact that ‘something was wrong’ but not any specific fact. We find that insulting. As you might be aware, you have reopened the funeral to our client and a swift resolution of the matter will be greatly appreciated.

Our client reserves the right to sue for damages caused by the pain and suffering occasioned by this act. By copy of this letter, we also bring this matter to the attention of the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission, Insurance and Pensions Commission and Zimbabwe Council of Chiefs for investigation.

Zimbos who received Chinese COVID vaccines can now travel to the U.S. Zimbabwean citizens who received the Chinese-developed COVID-19 vaccines, Sinopharm and Sinovac, are now eligible to travel to the United States of America (U.S.) after that country lifted severe travel restrictions and imposed new vaccine requirements.

The United States State Department Spokesman, Ned Price announced a new vaccination policy that will go on a factsheet for international travellers on 8 November. Under the new policy, foreign nationals vaccinated with approved vaccines for emergency use by the World Health Organisation (WHO) would be allowed to travel to the United States.

This means Zimbabweans vaccinated with Sinopharm or Sinovac can board a plane and travel, as these vaccines are approved by WHO. However, this order makes it difficult for unvaccinated non-American citizens to travel to the US. Said Price: As of November 8, foreign national travellers to the US will be required to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding an airplane to the US.

This policy puts public health first. It is consistent and stringent protecting US citizens and residents as well as those who come to visit us. Because it puts public health first, exceptions to this policy will be extremely limited.

Price said exceptions would primarily be children under the age of 18 and certain individuals from countries where vaccines are not yet readily accessible. He said: Those who are eligible to travel but not vaccinated will need to provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test within one day before their flight’s departure.

For those travellers who are vaccinated, the testing requirement remains three days before their flight.

Doves Holdings speak on burial coffin mix up, pledges to hold a probe. The family of the late Chimwamurombe, through their lawyers Chimwamurombe Legal Practice, has demanded that the funeral parlour accepts that it made an error and take corrective action, else they will take legal action.

Doves Funeral Services (DFS) says it is conducting a full investigation into the burial of the late Maxwell Chimwamurombe after the deceased’s family alleged that they were given an empty coffin for burial while their relative was given a pauper’s burial in a “Mass Grave” at Granville cemetery (Ku Mbudzi).

In a statement, DFS said it is keen on getting to the bottom of the matter so that the issue is resolved amicably with the Chimwamurombe family.

Below is the statement which Pindula News is publishing in full. The Executive management of Doves Funeral Services (DFS) would like to advise of the following developments with regards to the burial of the late Maxwell Chimwamurombe.

First and foremost, as Doves, we greatly empathise with the Chimwamurombe family during this difficult time. The said matter was brought to our attention by one of our employees and we are currently carrying out a full investigation.

After getting wind of this information, Doves executive management immediately initiated a process to inform the family. We went through to Nyanga and as per the customs of the land we engaged village chiefs and headmen (Chief Saunyama & Chief Katerere) to help us engage the family. A police detail also accompanied the Doves team to the deceased’s homestead.

A series of meetings were subsequently held with the family on the 22nd of October 2021 wherein we informed the family of the suspected anomaly and sought their support in investigating the entire burial circumstances.

A follow-up meeting was held with the family led by a Mr Fungai Chimwamurombe on the 25th of October 2021. The meeting sought to find a way forward and initiate the exhumation process at both burial sites involving the deceased families.

As Doves, we are committed to a full investigation of the matter and bringing it to completion. We, therefore, implore the family and all stakeholders involved to walk with us as we follow the due process.

We are fully cognisant of the emotional stress the family is going through and as management, we are keen on getting to the bottom of the matter which will ultimately lead to an amicable settlement of the matter. Ex-cop busted attempting to smuggle ammunition into Zimbabwe. Munashe Sibanda was arrested at around 3am soon after arriving aboard a Munhenzwa crossborder bus. Sibanda, who resides in Chitungwiza, is a retired police constable who was once deployed in Mashonaland East province.

A 44-year-old ex-police officer has been arrested by the national security task force while attempting to illegally import an assortment of ammunition through the Beitbridge Border Post on Sunday.

He was dragged before Beitbridge resident magistrate Mr Takudzwa Gwazemba on Monday charged with contravening a section of the Firearms Act. Sibanda was remanded out of custody to November 24 on $25 000 bail and ordered to report once every Friday at Makoni police station in Chutungwiza between 6am and 6pm and not to interfere with State witnesses.

Prosecuting, Miss Esnath Vengedza said on October 24 at around 3am, Sibanda arrived in the country aboard a Munhenzwa crossborder bus via the Beitbridge border post. The court further heard that the accused was transporting an assortment of ammunition loaded in a box.

It is alleged that the man, who intended to ship the contraband illegally, ran out of lucky when a customs officer searching the bus noticed the box. He then asked Sibanda to open the box and then informed the security team to assist after discovering that the box had two pellet guns.

Further searches were carried out leading to the recovery of 20×245 rounds, 360×303 rounds, 100×22 Horust rounds, 50×12 Gauge shot gun rounds,50×6,35 Browning rounds, 100×22 Magnum rounds,300x9mmx 18 Makarov rounds, 550×7,65mm Browning rounds, 25×12 Gauge rounds, 100×22 long riffle rounds, 100×22 copper plated rounds,and 02x Black Gamo GTac pellet guns.

Sibanda was asked to produce a valid firearms certificate authorising him to import the ammunition and he failed leading to his arrest. The State said the ammunition was subsequently seized by Zimra under notice of seizure No 032937L. It is further alleged that Sibanda revealed during interrogations that he was an ex-police officer once based in Marondera.

Schweppes Zimbabwe loses R247 million lawsuit. High Court Judge Justice Tawanda Chitapi said a party to a contract should not be allowed to seek to invoke exchange control regulations as a way out of an obligation and where that party seeks to do so there must be congent evidence to show that the law was contravened.

Schweppes Zimbabwe (PVT) LTD has lost a lawsuit involving 247 million rand with a South African supplier Blackey Investments (PVT) LTD. “Accordingly the plaintiff has not made out a case for the issue of the declaratur as sought.

It is ordered that the application by Schweppes be and is hereby dismissed with costs,” said Justice Chitapi. Schweppes was represented by Advocate Thabani Mpofu instructed by Wintertons while Blackey Investments was represented by Advocate Firoz Girach instructed by Atherstone & Cook.

Monthly inflation rate increases by 6,4%. This becomes the third consecutive time monthly inflation has been on an upward trajectory. In August 2021, inflation was recorded at 4,2 percent before increasing to 4,7 percent in September 2021.

Zimbabwe’s month-on-month inflation for October 2021 climbed to 6,4 percent, its highest level since August 2020 when it touched its highest point of 8,4 percent, latest figures from the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (Zimstat) show.

The year on year inflation rate (annual percentage change) for the month of October 2021 as measured by the all items Consumer Price Index (CPI) stood at 54,49 percent up from 51,5 percent in September. Again this is the second consecutive time annual inflation rate has trended upwards.

Annual inflation is likely to end the year between 35 percent to 46 percent, up from the revised year end targets of between 25 percent and 35 percent, Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube said in a presentation at the 2021 pre-budget seminar recently held in Victoria Falls.

Minister Ncube pointed out that the economy was witnessing inflationary pressures emanating from benchmarking or indexation of prices of goods and services at parallel market exchange rates. “In addition, the increase in international food and oil prices, as well as global inflation, continue to exert additional inflation pressures in the domestic economy,” he said.

The month on month food and non-alcoholic beverages inflation rate stood at 7,56 percent in October 2021, gaining 2.74 percentage points on the September 2021 rate of 4,82 percent. The month on month non-food inflation rate came in at 5,56 percent, gaining 0,89 percentage points on the September 2021 rate of 4,67 percent.

The data on prices was collected during the period from 13 to 19 October 2021 and the changes in prices in this report refer to that period of data collection. The Food Poverty Line (FPL) for one person in October 2021 was $5 092,25 representing an increase of 7,6 percent over the September 2021 figure of $4 734,33.

The Total Consumption Poverty Line for one person stood at $7 118,32 in October 2021 representing an increase of 7,0 percent when compared to the September 2021 figure of $6 653,65.

Barcelona fire Ronald Koeman as head coach after Rayo Vallecano loss. Barca have picked up just 15 points from 10 games in La Liga and have already lost twice in the group stage of this season’s Champions League. Ronald Koeman has been sacked as head coach of Barcelona after 14 months in charge at the Nou Camp.

They are ninth in the table, six points adrift of the joint leaders after losing at Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday. The loss was Barca’s third in their past four games and it followed defeat by Real Madrid in Sunday’s Clasico. In a statement, the Spanish club said: “The president of the club, Joan Laporta, informed him [Koeman] of the decision after the defeat against Rayo Vallecano.

“Ronald Koeman will say goodbye to the squad on Thursday.”

The former Netherlands, Everton and Southampton boss, 58, could only guide the five-time European champions to third place in the league last season. The Dutchman has not been helped by the club’s significant financial problems, which resulted in Lionel Messi’s exit and subsequent move to Paris St-Germain in August.

Barcelona were unable to spend any money on new signings in the summer, with Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia arriving as free transfers and striker Luuk de Jong joining on loan from Sevilla.

Speaking after Wednesday’s defeat, Koeman said: “It [Barcelona’s league position] says we’re not well. “The team has lost balance in the squad, lost very effective players, which shows. In recent years other clubs have strengthened every season and we haven’t, which also shows.”

Club legend Xavi, the former Barca midfielder who is now manager of Qatari side Al Sadd, is one of the favourites to replace Koeman. It is the first time since September 1987 that Barca have lost three away games in a row without scoring – a run that saw English manager Terry Venables sacked.

Koeman won the Copa del Rey at the end of his first season but Barca finished behind Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in La Liga with their lowest points tally since 2008. The former Netherlands center-back played for the Spanish club between 1989 and 1995, helping them to four league titles and scoring the winning goal in the 1992 European Cup final.

He was brought back to the club in August 2020 as head coach by former president Josep Maria Bartomeu. New chief Laporta, however, frequently made it clear the Dutchman was not his appointment.

The duo had an uneasy relationship, and Koeman released a statement in September asking to be given time to rebuild after losing Messi and fellow forward Antoine Griezmann in the summer. Following the defeat by Madrid on Sunday, Koeman’s car was surrounded by some Barcelona supporters, whom he later dismissed as “uneducated people”.

Speaking before the trip to Rayo Vallecano, he said: “It is a social problem. Uneducated people that don’t understand rules and values.” What’s gone wrong at Barcelona?
One of Koeman’s first tasks as coach was to make a 40-second phone call to Luis Suarez during which he told the Uruguay striker his services were no longer required and that he was free to leave the club.

The decision had been made by the board and it’s now known the dire financial position forced them to get rid of a forward who scored 21 goals from 29 starts in the previous campaign.

It began a weakening of the Barca squad from one that could compete with Europe’s elite to one that is struggling to get into the Champions League places. Messi then handed in a transfer request but ended up staying for 2020-21 but Suarez joined Atletico Madrid for a nominal fee and fired them to the league title.

Behind the scenes the club’s costs had spiralled to an unsustainable level, creating the biggest wage bill in world football and leaving Barcelona on the verge of bankruptcy and a stadium that requires renovation.

With Messi out of contract, the Argentina superstar agreed a new deal in July of this year until 2026 that included halving his wages, but La Liga stipulated Barca must reduce their wage bill further before he and any new players could be registered.

They weren’t able to do that, so in August the club announced that Messi would be leaving “because of financial and structural obstacles”.

He joined Paris St-Germain, then Koeman lost more talent when France forward Griezmann followed Suarez to Atletico Madrid – rejoining the club he had left in a £107m deal two years before on a loan in a snapshot of where it has gone wrong for Barcelona.

They managed to sign former Manchester United forward Depay and Aguero on free transfers but the former Manchester City striker has only just made his Barca debut after getting injured in pre-season.

The transformation from a forward line of Messi, Suarez and Griezmann to Depay, De Jong and an ageing Aguero sums up the task Koeman faced and which will now greet his successor.

“I’m absolutely shocked. We simply didn’t turn up,” Bayern sports director and former player Hasan Salihamidzic told ARD. “We were just not there. We did not win a single tackle or challenge in the entire first half.

“Everything that could go wrong went wrong. We let ourselves be outplayed in every situation – a collective blackout.” Gladbach scored with five of their six shots on target – with Bayern having more possession and more efforts than the hosts without scoring.

It was only the second defeat Bayern, who named the first-choice team, have suffered under Julian Nagelsmann and ended a run of scoring in 85 consecutive games. Nagelsmann was at home self-isolating, having tested positive for Covid-19.

Bayern last lost a game by a five-goal margin 43 years ago when Fortuna Dusseldorf beat them 7-1 in the Bundesliga. Their record defeat remains a 7-0 home loss to Schalke in the league back in 1976 – but this is their biggest defeat in a competition they have won a record 20 times.

It is the first time since 2016 City, who have won the competition for the past four seasons, have been eliminated. Pep Guardiola made nine changes to his side but City finished the 90 minutes with substitutes Foden, Gabriel Jesus and Jack Grealish on the pitch as they searched for a winner in normal time.

Despite peppering West Ham’s goal with 25 attempts, they could not find a breakthrough as the hosts claimed a famous win to advance to Saturday’s quarter-final draw.

“It’s been an incredible run,” said Guardiola after his hopes of winning the competition for a fifth straight season ended. “On penalties they were better, congratulations to West Ham and we’ll be back next year.

Man dies in agony shortly after confessing to having bedded 14-year-old sangoma daughter. The late Kudakwashe Chiguma reportedly went to his 14-year-old victim’s parents where he pleaded for forgiveness for bedding their daughter and also sought permission to get the victim’s urine to survive.

A 25-year-old man from Harare’s Mufakose suburb confessed to bedding a traditional healer’s 14-year-old daughter before passing away in excruciating pain two days later. One of the neighbours told H-Metro that Kudakwashe claimed that his s.e.xual intercourse with a traditional healer’s daughter last Friday made him sick. She said:

Mwana akafa rufu runorwadza, aibuda ziya, achizvimba dumbu akabata sikarudzi yake achichema kusvikira afa. (The young man died a very painful death as he was sweating heavily, his stomach was swollen and he would groan with pain whenever he touched his manh00d). We took him to a medical doctor where he was examined and the doctor said he was suffering from ulcers.

Kudakwashe’s parents were in the village and we could not watch him struggling without help. His friends took him to several traditional healers within Mufakose but to no avail. Akazondiudza ini sambuya vechikuru akati ndakarara nemuzukuru wambuya vanorapa. (He eventually confesses to me, as an elderly woman, that he had s.e.xual intercourse with a traditional healer’s granddaughter).

Akaenda kumba kwevabereki vake achikumbira weti yemwana waakarara naye sezvo vamwe vaiti ndiko kuti ararame asi vakaramba. (He visited the girl’s parents and asked for the girl’s urine so that he could drink it and boost his chances for survival, as is claimed, but they refused).

He went to the house where he confessed but he could not get help. The victim’s father admitted that Kudakwashe indeed came to his home and confessed that he had slept with his daughter and pleaded for his forgiveness. Said the father:

Kudakwashe aive muvakidzani wangu, aiuya pano apa achinditengera doro nekutandara kusvika usiku ndisingazive kuti airara nemwana wangu achimutadzisa kufunda.

(Kudakwashe was my neighbour and he would visit me often. He would buy beers for me and we used to spend a lot of time together, sometimes late into the night, little did I know that he was sleeping with my daughter and disrupting her studies).

Hanzi ndinokumbirawo ruregerero ndakarara nemwana wenyu saka ndabatwa nerunyoka. (He apologised for sleeping with my daughter, saying he was suffering from the effects of sleeping with a “locked” woman).

My wife got angry and rushed to the police to lodge a report against Kudakwashe. She could not process the opening of the docket upon hearing that Kudakwashe had died at a police base seeking help. He could have died at my house had it not been for my wife who chased him and his friends from here.

Hama dzake dzakazouya pano vakandibvunza ndikavaudza kuti handingaise runyoka pamwana wangu. (His relatives came here but I told them there is no way I will “lock” my own daughter, a minor for that matter).

Yes, I am a traditional healer who can heal some ailments including locking cheating partners but I could not do this to my daughter.

Kudakwashe, a Nyau dancer and car park guard, reportedly spent the whole night with the traditional leader’s daughter while his friend was also bedding the minor’s 19-year-old sister at the same place last Friday night. The deceased’s body was taken to Sally Mugabe Central hospital mortuary for post-mortem.

Buffalo Range villagers living in fear. The villagers do not hold any title to the land in question and there are concerns that they will be moved away without compensation.

Villagers in the Buffalo Range resettlement scheme in ward 29, Chiredzi North, are afraid of being displaced as the Government is leading a 3 000-hectare community irrigation scheme in the area, taking advantage of abundant water resources in Masvingo Province.

A ZANU PF Chiredzi North constituency aspirant who resides in Ward 29, White Munyenge, is worried the government may not keep its promise to compensate the hundreds of families occupying the land in question. Munyenge said:

We are not against the development which is being initiated by the government but we have our fears that the government may not keep its promise of compensating us, rather we are calling for a written document with a signature from the District Administrator, Lands department and community leadership of the agreement of compensation from the government since we do not have land permits.

Ward 29 councillor, Kizwell Muvengi, dispelled the villagers’ fears, saying the irrigation scheme is a project that aims at benefitting communities in wards 16, 27 and 29. He said:

This is a government-funded project for the community and it is a pilot project which covers about 3 000 hectares. Ward 29 villagers are going to benefit from this project and as promised by the Minister of Agriculture, Honorable Masuku, the displaced people will be fully compensated and will be well-taken care of.

Masvingo Provincial Development Coordinator Jefter Sakupwapwanya said the villagers will not be evicted but the government has proper planning for settlements where houses and fields are organised and people are given letters.

Nevertheless, in 2011 and 2012 villagers of Ward 29 were evicted from an area around Buffalo Range Airport by the government at the district level and received no compensation.

ZANU PF members and MDC Alliance supporters were involved in violent clashes at Zvipani Business Centre in Hurungwe, Mashonaland West on Wednesday ahead of a planned visit by MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa.

MDC Alliance provincial spokesperson, Blessing Mandava told NewZimbabwe.com, that ZANU PF supporters were trying to disrupt Chamisa’s scheduled public address. He said five MDC Alliance members, including national Women’s Assembly official Mordester Majinjiwa (who was attacked with a bottle), were injured in the violence. Said Mandava:

A group of ZANU PF elements came to Zvipani and started beating up our members who were singing and merry-making while awaiting president Chamisa to deliver his address.

There was chaos as we fought running battles with the rogue ZANU PF members who sparked violence unprovoked to try and disrupt the people’s president from meeting with villagers who had turned out in large numbers. He said state security agents were heavily deployed along the Harare-Chirundu highway while suspected ZANU PF members also barricaded roads. Said Mandava:

MDC Alliance president Chamisa’s motorcade encountered many hurdles along the way. Besides being trailed by Central intelligence Organisation (CIO) operatives everywhere we went, roads were blocked using rocks and logs, especially at Nhari.

At Nyabira, ZANU PF hastily arranged an anti-sanctions march to distract people’s attention from Chamisa’s tour, while at Chinhoyi, police officers could be seen chasing away vendors, believed to be Chamisa sympathisers. ZANU PF supporters in Masvingo and Manicaland employed similar dirty tactics against Chamisa when he toured the provinces recently.

Misty weather conditions force President Mnangagwa to travel by road. President Emmerson Mnangagwa visited Rutenga to commission an amarula/mapfura plant, which will produce 100 000 litres of marula concentrate and 5 000 litres of oil every season.

Mnangagwa on Monday travelled by road to Rutenga in Masvingo province after security concerns were raised over misty weather conditions, a report claims. Instead of flying to Rutenga, located about 443 kilometres from Harare, Mnangagwa used his motorcade that consisted of fuel-guzzling top-of-the-range SUV V8 vehicles numbering more than 30.

NewsDay quoted sources as saying the bad weather, coupled with a mid-air scare that he once experienced on his way from his Kwekwe farm recently and forced him into an emergency landing, could have compelled the President to come by road. Said a source:

You remember very well that the presidential helicopter was once involved in a mid-air fault that caused an emergency landing. Again, the weather was bad, just like when he failed to travel to Mutare for the commissioning of a gas plant.

So, travelling by road was the decision made because he could not postpone again at the last minute. The source said the cloudy weather posed visibility problems for low flying aircraft. However, addressing the crowds at Rutenga Growth Point, Mnangagwa said he had used the road to have “a feel” of the Harare-Beitbridge Highway.

The road is under maintenance, with some of the sections having been rehabilitated and widened, while others were still work in progress. Said the President: I travelled by road on my way here, so did my VP. He also travelled by road because we wanted to see for ourselves whether the reports we get about the progress on the road are correct.

Nomalanga Shabane was excited when she got her first big break with a role on Uzalo. But, little did she know playing Cocoa would lead to people calling her a magosha.

“This has been happening since September when I started appearing on the show.

“Initially, I had no problem because I thought people would get used to the character. But I was wrong. Wherever I go out, I am being called a pr0stitute,” she said.

“It is offensive and I don’t like it. I am not a magosha but an actress. I have now taken it upon myself to educate people about the difference between a character and an actor, but this is not always possible.”

She said although she hated being called a magosha, she considered s.e.x work as a job.

“What I don’t like is the stigma attached to pr0stitution. Otherwise, I would definitely consider this job. Selling s.e.x is like any other job and should not be frowned upon. You can sell it exclusively to one person in the comfort of your home but at the end of the day, it’s pr0stitution.”

Nomalanga said when she got the role, she did research on s.e.x work.

“Not all s.e.x workers want to be in this business – some are forced by circumstances. Others do it for fun and extra income.”

Yonela Sinqu of the S.e.x Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce said being a magosha was risky because it was not accepted by society.

“As an organization, we are happy to see such storylines in South African productions. Such roles address the myths around s.e.x workers.

“Additionally, the word ‘magosha’ is offensive and we don’t like it,” Yonela said.

Gallardo has been manager of River Plate for seven seasons and long been touted for a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Barcelona.

Ten Hag has become one of the most highly rated coaches in the world for his work at Ajax, taking them to two Dutch titles and a Champions League semi-final in 2019.

The 51-year-old Dutchman would continue a long tradition of moves between Ajax and Barca, with the clubs united by their adoration of Johan Cruyff.

Maid kills her 2-year-old daughter before commiting suicide. Acting Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed the incident which happened in Chief Saunyama’s area in Nyanga.

In a tragic incident that left villagers in Nyanga shocked, a 38-year-old domestic worker last week killed her daughter (2) before taking her own life by consuming an unknown pesticide. Viola Makondo, who also made her daughter Kashia Nyandoro to drink the pesticide, left a suicide note.

“Viola Makondo and her baby went missing on October 16 before her employer, Mr Onias Chandiringa (68), saw a suicidal note whose contents we are yet to establish. He informed other villagers who conducted a search.

“On October 20, a villager, Edmore Manda discovered Viola and Kashia’s bodies lying side by side near Musambaneni River and made a report. The bodies were in an advanced stage of decomposition. A poison container was also recovered,” said Assistant Inspector Chinyoka.

TV station accidentally plays a p0rn clip instead of weather report: Video. In shocking news, viewers were totally taken aback while watching a weather forecast report in Washington, US. It was at that time when a local news channel mistakenly played a p0rn0graphic clip. It is to be noted that KREM, a local CBS-affiliated news outlet that is based in Spokane, Washington unknowingly telecasted the 13-second p0rn video during their 6 pm newscast.

The incident happened when Meteorologist Michelle Boss was briefing the weather update when the porn clip started playing over her shoulder. Even she was left puzzled over the clip as she nor her co-anchor were not aware of the video clip.

Meanwhile, the news anchors had to continue their report as the adult video played out in the background before finally cutting away to more weather footage. Meanwhile, KREM conveyed their sincere apologies for showing the “inappropriate” video during their 11 pm broadcast, reports Adweek. “Those of us here at KREM 2 want to apologise for something that happened in our 6 pm newscast tonight,” said the station.

“An inappropriate video aired in the first part of the show. We are diligently working to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again.” In the wake of the broadcast, it was opened up that the channel has broken broadcast rules. Parents Television and Media Council (PTC) also wrote a letter calling for action to the channel. “It is illegal to air indecent material between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. over the publicly-owned airwaves.

As a licensee of the broadcast spectrum, a violation of the congressionally-mandated and FCC-enforced indecency law can warrant financial sanctions up to $325,000 per incident. The FCC has levied fines for similar such violations as the one KREM appears to have committed,” the letter by PTC President Tim Winter read.

He went on to doubt that the clip was played by accident and questioned why is it always inappropriate content that is played ‘by mistake’. “Let there be no suggestion that the airing of the pornographic content might have been an “accident” or a “mistake.”

Someone with the wherewithal to pass that content through the control room did so intentionally. If it were not aired by someone’s design, why is it always porn that gets aired “by accident” instead of innocuous content?” Winter said.
