Actress Mona Monyane has urged people to stop overthinking and procrastinating and to start working on their healing.

Taking to her TL with a gentle but candid reminder for her followers, Mona admitted that pain was part of healing, but that should not deter people from making the life-changing decision to heal.

“Healing is painful. Much as life’s challenges, it is truly rough! Because at some point you have to stop waiting for someone to come save you. You have to get intentional about wanting your life to change,
The actress encouraged people to stop drinking alcohol, eat healthier, get exercise or become more physical. Prayer and keeping a diary are among the things that help one get to the other side in the healing process.

“Many of us know what to do to get us moving in our healing journeys, but we are fearful, stubborn, we procrastinate, we blame everyone else so that we don’t have to face the fact that … well, sometimes it’s us who is the problem.

“So, when do you allow yourself to gently peel away at the layers of denial and toxicity you harbour within yourself? Will you be gentle with yourself? Get the help you need? Will you keep at it even when it gets hard? Healing is a journey, not a destination … when do you begin yours? ”
Mona has been on a journey of personal healing while encouraging other women to focus on their wellness and she’s revealed how ubungoma helped her in her journey.

Mona took to Instagram, speaking of how accepting her spiritual journey helped her heal spiritually and emotionally. My journey of healing started with me answering my ancestral calling. I’ve learnt so much about African spirituality and it has drawn me closer to God,” she wrote.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Mona said though she had accepted her ancestral calling and went to a shrine, she does not practise as a “sangoma”.

I have a prophetic gifting … I realised that I’m not here to practise as a sangoma. I’m a public figure in the entertainment industry, but I can’t be in this industry without being my true authentic self, and my true authentic self is a woman of God, it’s a woman who speaks the word of life.

PASSION JAVA and his wife, Lily, appear unmoved by reports he impregnated his South African girlfriend, Leeshaan Da Gama.

The scandal exploded when Leeshaan started posting her pictures, with Passion Java, suggesting they were an item.

The post was largely ignored by both Passion and his followers.

Last week, she went further to suggest – this time through Tik-Tok videos – that Passion impregnated her.

She also released chats – allegedly between her and Passion – suggesting he was asking her to abort.

She also released some videos of them together.

Leeshaan has since apologised to her family, and friends, for the harm she might have caused.

Passion responded with a skit he posted on his social media.

In the skit, Passion appeared to be in high spirits and said he would not lose sleep over the people judging him for his alleged shenanigans.

He even cited some biblical examples adding he was not the first person to sin before the Lord if, indeed, the rumours were true.

Chicken thighs cooked on the stove with a hearty sauce of spinach, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, garlic, and sofrito. The lower the heat, the longer the cooking time and the more tender and juicy the chicken will be. Serve with linguini: place a portion of pasta on a large plate and pile the chicken mixture on top with juices and chunks of good stuff.

Ingredients

¼ cup olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
6 (4 ounces) bone-in chicken thighs
2 tablespoons sofrito
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil, or more if needed
1 (8 ounces) package baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
1 (10 ounces) bag baby spinach
4 plum tomatoes, cored and chopped
¾ cup Cabernet Sauvignon
2 cups chicken broth, or as needed
½ cup pine nuts (pignoli)
1 (8 ounces) can artichoke hearts, drained and quartered

Directions / Instructions

Step 1

Heat 1/4 cup oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add chicken thighs and cook, turning occasionally, until fully browned and garlic has burned slightly about 10 minutes; the burnt garlic will add to the smoky flavour of the dish.

Step 2

Add sofrito to the skillet and stir until chicken is coated in sofrito and oil. Season with salt and pepper. Turn heat to low and cook until chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear 10 to 15 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove from the heat and set aside.

Step 3

Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Cook until mushrooms are slightly brown, adding a bit more oil if the pan gets too dry, about 5 minutes. Stir in spinach and cook for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and chicken, garlic, and sofrito mixture from the skillet; stir to mix.

Step 4

Return the skillet to the stove and turn the heat to high. Pour Cabernet Sauvignon into the pan and bring to a boil while scraping the browned bits of food off the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Transfer wine glaze to the Dutch oven; mix to combine. Add 2 cups chicken broth or more to fully cover the chicken. Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 1 hour.

Step 5

Shortly before serving, place pine nuts in a dry skillet over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until browned, about 3 minutes. Add pine nuts to the chicken mixture. Stir in artichoke hearts and allow to heat for 1 minute prior to serving.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 pounds cubed beef stew meat
2 cups water
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (.75 ounce) packet dry brown gravy mix
1 cup water

Directions / Instructions

Step 1

In a large skillet heat oil over high heat. Saute the onion until almost translucent.

Step 2

Add the stew meat and cook on high heat until meat is browned on all sides; about 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 3

Pour 2 cups water, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce into the skillet. Stir in garlic powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Step 4

Meanwhile, combine the gravy mix with 1 cup water. Mix thoroughly and stir into the meat mixture. Bring to a boil stirring frequently until slightly thickened.

Pakistan has reached an out-of-court deal with a foreign firm that has agreed to waive $11-billion in penalties and revive a mining project stalled since 2011, officials said. The consortium Tethyan Copper company of which Canadian gold firm Barrick and Chile’s Antofagasta Minerals control 37.5 percent each had found vast gold and copper deposits at Reko Diq in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

The hugely lucrative open-pit mine project came to a standstill in 2011 after the local government refused to renew Tethyan Copper’s lease, and in 2013 Pakistan’s top court declared it invalid.

In 2019, the World Bank’s arbitration tribunal committee imposed a 5.8 billion penalty on Pakistan for unlawful denial of mining. After a decade-long legal battle, Pakistani officials announced the out-of-court settlement with Barrick Gold on Sunday.

“The agreement has nullified the award of around $11-billion on us and secondly Barrick and its partners will invest $10-billion,” Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin said during a press conference.
It will benefit Pakistan and Balochistan for the next 100 years,” he added.

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said the project “will potentially be the largest gold & copper mine in the world”. It will liberate us from crippling debt & usher in a new era of development & prosperity,” he said in a statement.

After a long (long) wait, Blizzard announced today that the Overwatch 2 PvP beta will begin on April 26 with new heroes, maps, and 5v5 gameplay. The announcement comes a week after Blizzard kicked off a closed alpha of the sequel and opened signups for the beta on its website.

Blizzard talked more about the ongoing alpha during a developer live stream today. We learned a little more about upcoming hero reworks and what exactly will be April PvP beta. Details are still pretty light, but here’s what beta players can look forward to:

New hero: Sojourn, a Canadian (so she’s automatically my favorite) with an armoured parka and a railgun.
New mode: Push – Teams battle to take control of a robot that begins in a central location on a symmetrical map, then push it toward the enemy base. Either team may take control of the robot at any time. The team that pushes the robot furthest onto the enemy side wins the game.
Four new maps: Circuit Royal (Escort), Midtown (Hybrid), New Queen Street (Push), and Colosseo (Push)
Hero Reworks: Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion, and Sombra
New Ping System
Also, Doomfist is apparently a tank now. Certified, even.

Ingredients

12 slices bacon
2 heads fresh broccoli, florets only
1 cup chopped celery
½ cup chopped green onions
1 cup seedless green grapes
1 cup seedless red grapes
½ cup raisins
½ cup blanched slivered almonds
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
¼ cup white sugar

Directions / Instructions

Step 1

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.

Step 2

In a large salad bowl, toss together the bacon, broccoli, celery, green onions, green grapes, red grapes, raisins and almonds.

Step 3

Whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice and provided an assist for Ferran Torres, while Ronald Araujo also headed home in a rampant performance by the visitors. Aubameyang has now scored nine goals in his 11 appearances since arriving from Arsenal.

Former Arsenal striker Aubameyang had already been denied from close range by Thibaut Courtois when he popped up with the opener on 29 minutes, bulleting a header home following a fine run and cross from Ousmane Dembele.

It reinforces the project, the idea of the game, the model of the game we want to follow. We have no doubt that Barca should compete playing the way we have played tonight.”

Carlo Ancelotti took responsibility after Real’s four-game winning run in La Liga came to an emphatic end.

“My strategy has not been good. It didn’t get a very good result. I don’t know, that’s all. I have not made a good strategy in trying to defeat Barca. Barca have played better than we have played and they deserved the victory.

“It’s not a problem to take on the responsibility, because I didn’t prepare for the game correctly. Sometimes you do it correctly, sometimes you don’t.

“I failed in this game, but I’m not making a drama out of it. It’s a defeat, yes. We know how important it is to win a game against Barca, especially for the supporters. We are very sorry, but we have to keep working, move forward and to prepare our game over the next couple of weeks.

“We should keep calm and stay balanced, because of course, we are very down after this defeat, but we have to think that we have nine points advantage (over Sevilla at the top of the standings). We should be calm and keep calm.”

His questline starts properly once you reach Liurnia of the Lakes, but you meet him for the first time once you’ve unlocked access to Roundtable Hold. Diallos’s story arc ties into Jar-Bairn’s quest as well as Volcano Manor.

There are a surprising number of quests to complete in the game, and it’s easy to lose track of those you’ve met and spoken to. The first major patch introduced new icons to help keep track of the NPCs, but you still might get stuck wondering what to do next. Here’s how to complete the Elden Ring Diallos quest.

After you initially meet Diallos in Roundtable Hold, you can find him again once you reach the Liurnia of the Lakes area. Fast travel to the Academy Gate Town Site of Grace to the southeast of Raya Lucaria Academy and you can find him almost directly north, standing on one of the rooftops. Speak to him and exhaust his dialogue, then return to Roundtable Hold to find him in his original location and speak to him again and he’ll mention getting an invitation.

This Philly-inspired breakfast cheesesteak piles chicken sausage, peppers and cheese atop thick slices of French toast.

Ingredients

6 large eggs, divided
2 tablespoons milk
4 thick slices of bread
1 (5 ounces) package Chicken Sausage Patties
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced
½ green bell pepper, thinly sliced
½ small red onion, thinly sliced
2 slices provolone cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions / Instructions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 eggs and milk; dip bread into egg mixture until fully coated. Cook French toast on a griddle or large skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

Step 2

Cook sausage patties according to package instructions. Cut into strips.

Step 3

In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, peppers and onions and saute until browned and tender.

Step 4

Add cooked sausage strips to pepper and onion mixture; top with cheese and heat until cheese is melted.

Step 5

Cook remaining eggs over easy, or as desired.

Step 6

Assemble cheesesteaks by layering french toast with eggs, pepper, sausage and cheese mixture. Season with salt & pepper and serve open-faced.

A new season of Fortnite is launching today, and developer Epic will be donating all of its proceeds from the first two weeks to Ukraine-related humanitarian efforts. The action will last from March 20th through April 3rd, and will include all “real-money purchases” in the game, which means purchased V-bucks, subscriptions, gifted battles passes, and certain cosmetic packs. (Epic notes that “using V-Bucks in Fortnite will not be included as those are not real-money purchases.) It will also include retail gift card purchases so long as they’re redeemed during the two-week window.

As part of the effort, Microsoft will also be “committing their net proceeds for Fortnite during this time, so that we can get more aid to the people of Ukraine.” Funds will be donated to a few different organizations, which include Direct Relief, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations Children’s Fund, and the World Food Programme. The developer says that it will add more supported organizations “in the coming weeks.

Epic says that it will be sending funds to these organizations as “quickly as we can. We’re not waiting for the actual funds to come in from our platform and payment partners, which can take a while depending on how the transaction was processed. As transactions are reported, we’ll log them and send the funds to the humanitarian relief organizations within days.”

The news comes as other gaming-related efforts have managed to raise millions of dollars for humanitarian relief following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. A bundle of indie games on Itch.io raised more than $6 million earlier this month, and a Ukraine-focused Humble Bundle has already surpassed $9 million.

The new season of Fortnite starts later today, and follows a dramatic event that kicked off a whole new chapter last December.

Netflix has dropped a trailer for an upcoming anime adaptation of the fighting game series Tekken, which is due to release sometime this year.

Tekken: Bloodline appears to take place between Tekken 2 and Tekken 3, focusing on Jin Kazama after his life is turned upside-down when Ogre attacks his home and his mother, Jun. The whole debacle sends him to his grandfather Heihachi Mishima and will undoubtedly culminate in Jin entering the classic King of Iron Fist Tournament similar to the third game’s storyline. Some classic Tekken characters are seen in the trailer like Paul and King, but the anime’s also integrating some characters introduced in later games such as Tekken 7’s Leroy Smith.

It’s not the first time Tekken has dabbled in adaptations of its games. A live-action Tekken movie released in 2009, a movie so dire even the game’s creator Katsuhiro Harada said he wanted nothing to do with it. It also holds a 0% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which makes it even more surprising that the film then got a direct-to-DVD sequel in 2014. There was also Tekken: Blood Vengence, a 2011 3D animated film that was released to little fanfare. There’s even been an anime adaptation already cooked up in the form of 1998’s Tekken: The Motion Picture, which again didn’t do much to garner praise from fans.

I’m far more confident for Netflix’s anime adaptation though, and it seems like I’m not the only one. The YouTube comments seem fairly hype for it, praising the art direction and return of Ogre, a character who’s been absent from the games for a little while now. Netflix also seems to be doing a pretty good job at handling adaptations of beloved videogames—League of Legends’ Arcane series was a breakout hit last year, while The Witcher continues to be a popular show for the streaming service. We just won’t talk about that Resident Evil adaptation.

Opposition MDC-T President Thokozani Khupe has rallied her supporters to vote for Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) candidates in the upcoming by-elections.

Addressing a press conference in Bulawayo Monday afternoon, Khupe who was putting on a CCC t-shirt, endorsed Nelson Chamisa calling on other opposition parties to rally behind him in the 2023 presidential elections.

“Following our previous announcement that we are going to be work with like-minded opposition political parties because we are stronger together and that we are going to give a signal on who our members to vote for in the upcoming by-elections

“I am therefore today announcing that we are calling on all our members and supporters to go and vote on the 26 March, for Citizens Coalition for Change candidates across the country, by voting on the 26 March, we are building the a strong foundation for a resounding victory in 2023,” said Khupe.

The former MDC-T deputy president who revived her own movement after falling out with Douglas Mwonzora endorsed Chamisa for the 2023 presidential elections saying she has no doubts he will defeat Zanu PF and President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

I would like to emphasize that it is important that we come together, we unite and join hands and rally behind Advocate Nelson Chamisa because come 2023, there is no doubt that he going to be the President of the republic of Zimbabwe. So I am calling on you to unite, because collectively we must deliver real change to the people of Zimbabwe and give them better lives, that can only happen if we come together, if we join hands…” said Khupe.

Responding to wide reservations from supporters over Khupe’s overtures, CCC Spokesperson Fadzai Mahere appeared to suggest that the movement will not impose the former deputy premier on the party but allow citizens to decide.

“Right now, Agenda 2022 is about Citizens’ Action for Change. The core business of every citizen is to mobilize, organize, recruit and conscientize for change so that we build a new Zimbabwe. The citizens’ movement is for any citizen.

“However, the leadership of the movement will be determined by the citizens who are at the center of the movement and all its decision-making processes. Citizens will assess each and every candidate for their suitability to lead,” said Mahere.

A controversial self-proclaimed man of God Passion Java has finally responded after his side chick revealed that she is pregnant.

Taking to Instagram, in a short video clip Passion Java did not deny nor confirm the reports that are circulating on social media. Instead, Passion Java who seems to be impressed with himself for having impregnated his side chick came up with biblical examples of men who were involved in polygamous relationships.

Unapologetic, Passion Java boastfully said;

Passion Java’s response comes hours after his alleged side chick Leshaan Da Gama, dropped a video on social media in which she claims to be pregnant and carrying the “man of God’s” child.

In the video which Leshaan dropped on Instagram, she revealed that her relationship with Passion Java used to be a good one. She said she doesn’t regret getting pregnant but only regrets the person she had the baby with.

I don’t regret getting pregnant. I just regret the person I had a baby with.

Amazon Game Studios has released a developer roundtable video alongside a 2022 roadmap for its colonial fantasy MMO, New World.

New World’s Heart of Madness update coming later this month will bring the Strength/Intelligence-scaling Blunderbuss weapon, as well as the Tempest Heart expedition, 3v3 PvP arenas, and expanded PvP rewards.

The video mostly covers the Heart of Madness update, with a special focus on the expedition’s focus on the character Isabella, previously encountered in the Dynasty Shipyard Expedition. The video was lighter on detail regarding the PvP changes, and we will have to see how those pan out in the game itself.
Summer will see another new expedition, the pirate-themed Barnacles and Black Powder, alongside the introduction of an LFG tool for Expeditions and an as-of-yet undisclosed Summer event.

These all seem like welcome additions to New World, but they don’t strike me as likely to address the underlying issues identified by PC Gamer’s resident New World expert, Fraser Brown, in his review and 2022 state of the game piece like declining server populations and instability in the in-game economy.

Some popular posts on the game’s subreddit continue to call for more server mergers to maximize the game’s contracted player base. Additionally, the focus on PvE Expeditions in the 2022 updates does not seem to be playing into New World’s strengths in its PvP or the player-driven economy that, while flawed, remains a unique draw. Following an impressive launch (the biggest in terms of concurrent players for a game on Steam in 2021) and equally massive decline in player count, New World may still be struggling to find the rhythm that some long-running mid-tier MMOs like Guild Wars 2 or Star Wars: the Old Republic have managed to hit.

Make this easy vegan salad bowl, with homemade spinach falafels and hummus served alongside pitta and salad. It’s packed with nutrients for a healthy supper

Ingredients

150g baby spinach
1⁄2 cucumber, sliced
1 red onion, finely sliced
4 wholemeal pittas, toasted, to serve
For the falafel
150g baby spinach
400g can chickpeas, drained
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 tsp ground cumin
1⁄2 small bunch of parsley, finely chopped
2 tbsp plain flour
1 tbsp olive oil, plus extra for rolling
For the hummus
400g chickpeas, drained
40ml olive oil, plus extra to serve
1 garlic clove, roughly chopped
1 lemon, juiced, plus extra to serve (optional)
2 tbsp tahini

Method

STEP 1

Heat the oven to 190C/170C fan/gas 5. Line a baking sheet with non-stick parchment. Put all the falafel ingredients, except for the oil, in a food processor and season lightly. Pulse until you have a rough mix.

STEP 2

Oil your hands lightly, then take tablespoons of the falafel mix, roll into around 16 balls and put on the baking sheet. Press each one down slightly with the palm of your hand. Brush using the 1 tbsp oil and bake for 20-25 mins until firm and golden, turning halfway through.

STEP 3

While the falafel is cooking, make the hummus. Put all of the hummus ingredients into a food processor with 50ml of water and blitz until smooth and silky.

STEP 4

Put the spinach, cucumber, red onion and falafel in different sections of each bowl, alongside some hummus, then drizzle with the extra olive oil. Grind over some black pepper. Serve with the pittas on the side and more lemon for squeezing over, if you like.
