The senior pastor of Evangelical Church in Tana River County, Kenya, has demolished his church in anger after he caught his wife and the assistant pastor having a romantic moment after a prayer vigil.

According to Nairobi News, the preacher is said to have caught his wife kissing the assistant pastor in the church.

Joan Mulei, a member of the worship team, said the pastor and the wife left immediately after the service only for the pastor’s wife to return a few minutes later.

“People had already left and only the assistant pastor and a few worship team members stayed behind for a meeting when she walked in and joined in the meeting that would later end prematurely,” she said.

Ms Mulei says the pastor’s wife kept making the meeting as brief as possible by interjecting in each statement and giving immediate proposals.

The group ended the meeting with a prayer and proceeded home, leaving behind the youthful assistant pastor and the Reverend’s wife who appeared to be holding another exclusive meeting.

“While we were walking home, we met the senior pastor at the junction to the church, he looked worried and asked if we had seen his wife, we told him she was still held in a meeting with his assistant,” she said.

The pastor headed towards the church to pick up his wife as he feared the insecurity in the town following a rise in murder incidents by the Kayole Brothers gang.

On arrival at the Church, he found the lights switched off and the main door closed. He decided to use that rear door where he was shocked to find his wife entangled in the arms of his assistant, lost in a passionate kiss.

“We heard a man scream, Yesuuu!!!Yesu!!! And we thought he had been attacked so we ran to his rescue since we knew the voice of the pastor only to find him bringing down the church while the wife was pleading with him to settle,” said Ali Mohammed, a resident living near the church.

The man of God in tears demolished the iron-sheet-made building in the night and immediately hired some youth to carry them away.

Immediately after, he left the town for an unknown place and has not picked up calls since.

The wife has since left for her matrimonial home, leaving the church members in a dilemma.

Reached for comment, the youthful assistant pastor noted that all that happened was the devil’s work.

He claimed that the pastor’s wife coerced him into the act, denying that they have been having an affair.

“I don’t even know how it got that far, I only came to my senses when the pastor shouted my name upon catching us,” he said.

Church Members have resolved to rebuild the church and cleanse the altar of sin.

Some church elders have also resolved to dismiss the assistant pastor from the church and look for their senior pastor for talks and counselling.

A 31-year-old woman from Mabelreign suburb, in Harare, was arrested after she was allegedly found in possession of 52 crocodile skins at her home.

Vimbai Dzingirai appeared before Harare magistrate, Yeukai Dzuda, over the weekend and was not asked to plead.

Dzingirai is employed by a Masvingo white man Wadley Duncan Andrew.

Prosecutors alleged that detectives from the CID Minerals, Flora, and Fauna received information that Dzingirai was in possession of crocodile skins, without a permit.

The detectives went to Dzingirai’s house in Mabelreign and advised her of the reason for their visit.

The officers searched the house and found 52 crocodile skins in her kitchen.

Dzingirai failed to produce a permit, authorizing her to possess the crocodile skins and said the permit was in Masvingo.

The detectives took the skins, pending the availing of the permit, but Dzingirai failed to produce the permit and became evasive.

The swearing-in ceremony, which was held at the council chamber, was attended by the newly-elected councillors, other councillors, heads of council departments, and invited guests.

All the eight councillors were elected on Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) tickets, with five of them formerly MDC Alliance councillors who were recalled from Council by the MDC-T.

The eight are Edwin Ndlovu (Ward 8), Donaldson Mabutho (Ward 9), Lilian Mlilo (Ward 12), Concilia Mlalazi (Ward 13), Christopher Dube (Ward 19), Alderman Earnest Rafamoyo (Ward 20), Tinevimbo Maphosa (Ward 21) and Mpumelelo Moyo (Ward 26).

The swearing-in ceremony was presided over by BCC Town Clerk Christopher Dube while council chamber secretary Sikhangele Zhou assisted the councillors in reciting the oath.

In his remarks soon after the swearing-in ceremony, Bulawayo mayor Solomon Mguni urged all the councillors to work together across the political divide. He said:

For the first time in 20 years, we now have a multiparty chamber and we should work together as councillors for the City of Bulawayo.

We have been given the mandate to serve our people and we call upon unity in the cockpit and serve everyone equally and equitably and the committees should embrace each and every one of us.

A Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Councillor in Chipinge has been arrested for allegedly fondling a ZANU PF female member’s breast at a polling station.

Chrispen Rambu, who was elected councillor for Chipinge Town Council’s Ward Eight in the 26 March by-elections, is accused of fondling Jenipher Mpofu’s breast. Mpofu is a member of ZANU PF in Chipinge District.

Rambu (40) is facing indecent assault charges as defined in Section 67(1) of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before Chipinge magistrate, Alfred Chinembiri early last week.

He was remanded out of custody to 5 April on $10 000 bail.

Prosecutor Isaac Tangwena told the court that the incident took place on 26 March at around 8 PM.

It is alleged that Mpofu was walking along the road which leads to Makocheredze Polling Station where she wanted to cast her vote when she met Rimbu. Said Tangwena:

The complainant met Rambu who was coming from the opposite direction. Rambu blocked her way and accused the complainant of disturbing some of his party members from voting. The complainant denied the allegations.

Ms Mpofu placed the book she was holding in her jacket and Rambu grabbed her by the collar. Rambu tried to get the book from Ms Mpofu, but she resisted.

Rambu fondled the complainant’s breasts during the scuffle. He later grabbed the book and shoved Ms Mpofu to the ground.

Mpofu allegedly reported the matter to a police officer who was manning the polling station and was referred to the charge office for assistance.

Ten (10) Zimbabwean nationals have been sentenced to two years in prison by a South African court for illegal mining activities in the Giyani area under Limpopo province.

The gang was arrested in South Africa by the Hawks on 14 May last year after the elite police unit received information about people who were en route from Phalaborwa to Giyani to sell gold.

The Hawks intercepted the vehicle near the Giyani shopping complex and upon searching the vehicle, the police found unwrought gold, pastel, scale, and mine detectors worth over R900 000 as well as R3800 cash.

The jailed are Mpathise Tshuma (29), Decent Ngwenya (22), Lamulani Sibanda (31), Skhumbuzo Mkandla (21), Ocean Mpofu (28), Prince Ndlovu (27), Brandon Nyoni (22), Clive Moyo (29), Tawanda Ndebele (33) and Philani Ndlovu (33).

Hawks’ spokesperson for Limpopo, Captain Matimba Maluleke said the Zimbabwean nationals were also found guilty of violating that country’s immigration laws. Said Maluleke:

The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation would like to welcome the sentencing of ten (10) unlawful gold dealers by the Giyani Magistrate’s Court on Friday (1 April 2022.

The accused persons who are all Zimbabwean nationals were arrested by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation members assisted by Giyani Police and Local Criminal Record Centre members on 14 May 2021.

… The accused appeared several times in the Giyani Magistrate’s Court and subsequently pleaded guilty to the charges.

The court sentenced them to two (2) years imprisonment for contravention of the Precious Metal Act of which one year is suspended and six months imprisonment for contravening the Immigration Act.

The sentences are to run concurrently.

Big Brother Mzansi fans have alleged that the voting numbers were cooked and rigged following last night’s finale. This comes after the finale voting poll results board showing how viewers of the reality show voted was not published on Sunday.

Daveyton sangoma Mphowabadimo Mvundla scooped the R2 million prize money after winning Big Brother Mzansi Season 3. Mphowabadimo won the competition ahead of Gash1 and Themba.

However, when the organizers of the reality show failed to post the voting poll board last night, fans not happy with the results seized their moment. Some alleged that this was because the results had been cooked in favour of one candidate.

Celebrity and entertainment commentator Phil Mphela on Monday explained that the organizers of the show made a mistake on Sunday when they failed to put up the voting poll.

This led to massive speculation and debate on whether the reality show had been rigged. Many were not happy that the results of the voting poll had not been released well more than 20 hours since the finale of the reality show.

Following a series of shocking videos showing Kings of Joburg actor Sthembiso ‘SK ’Khoza, having a breakdown and fighting with a white man. His ex-fiancée Mandy Hlongwane, has taken to her Instagram account to share cryptic quotes that have left grabbing the popcorn.

Since their breakup, Mandy has not publicly spoken about what caused their split, which according to rumor ended with Khoza allegedly assaulting her. She shared a series of Instagram stories in which she appears to be ready for life to school Khoza.

The cryptic quotes have left many wondering whether Hlongwane is throwing shade at Khoza or not. “Toxic people will not be changed by the alchemy of your kindness. Yes, be kind, but move on swiftly and let life be educator,” she shared.

She shared another cryptic quote which reads “Don’t let anybody make you fee; crazy because you figured them out.”

She ended “Growth is all about improving not about proving.”

Hlongwane and Khoza called it quits a couple of months ago. It appears their relationship was all roses at the beginning, but it ended in tears. This follows after Khoza was arrested for allegedly leaving her with bruises

According to a local publication, Hongwane laid charges against Khoza, after injuring her by beating, kicking and dragging her. The actor was allegedly arrested on October 13 and appeared at the Randburg magistrate court where he received bail of R2000. Mandy charged him with assault with ‘intent to cause grievous bodily harm.’

Khoza’s life was turned upside down following the allegations and he even had to take a break from the limelight. This comes after he was reportedly fired from The Queen. Ferguson Films announced his departure from the show on social media and wished him all the best on his future endeavors.

The show also featured scenes from the ceremony of the unveiling of Magubane’s tombstone, leaving the Magubane family enraged.

Siphamandla said Ncube and his mother were trying to swindle them of their inheritance, including three mansions and seven cars, including a Range Rover, which Ncube flaunts in the ‘Young, Famous & Africa’ series.

“There’s nothing as painful as this thing which has been done by Andile.

“We are still being troubled by the fight over the inheritance because his mother is refusing with some of the properties she was not supposed to take. Siphamandla said there were more secrets that they (family) had been keeping to show that Ncube and his mother were up to no good.

Among Magubane’s assets in contention were seven cars including two Land Rovers, a Mazda 2, a BMW i7 series and two Datsun Go.

His three reported homes are in Birchleigh North, Birch Acres and Blue Gill Estate. IOL Lifestyle reached out to Ncube’s management team for a response on the allegation. No response was received by the time of publishing.

Slik Talk expressed the stinging sentiments after Dineo Ranaka appeared on an episode of Podcast and Chill with MacG and co-hosts Sol Phenduka and Ghost Lady.

During the interview, Dineo Ranaka opened up about her marriage, saying,

“The third baby daddy chose me, and then I eventually chose him after I didn’t want to choose him, and then we became such good friends. We enjoyed each other’s company, and we became good friends.

Before we sat for a chat at the chic Blaque Continental Bistro in Bryanston, she made sure to have breakfast with her two young children after gym before she embarked on her typically busy schedule.

Recently, she hosted a luxurious party for her daughter Thingo’s eighth birthday, one which we got a glimpse of through some stunning, glossy pics on her Instagram page.

“It was a weekend full of kids,” she says, her tone expressing both pride and tiredness.
“It went extremely well. I was working under pressure because I’d been working (nonstop) and now it’s March and she’s been talking about this birthday and how she’s looking forward to it for a while.

“So obviously I have to run up and down, get the decor right, a spit braai and a cake, and invitations for the friends.”
Many might see it as a lot of work for an 8th birthday, but Kelly is determined to do whatever it takes it try and give her children what she didn’t have growing up.

“I want my kids to understand what it means to grow up in a happy and loving home where you are nurtured, where a birthday, mother’s day and Christmas are a big deal.”

Enhle Mbali and Black Coffee reached some “messy” points in their divorce. The pair tied the knot in 2011 and have two sons together Anesu (11) and Asante (6).

Enhle and Black Coffee did not seem to be on good terms for a while when the actress applied for a protection order against the DJ. This was because Enhle claimed her estranged husband allegedly abused her. The Rockville star was denied a protection order so she said she would bring “receipts” of the Superman hitmaker’s lies in a press conference.

However, Enhle chose to take a journey of healing instead and released a mini-documentary titled The Voice. It seems Enhle is putting her personal feelings aside and celebrating the father of her son’s win. She said that they are all incredibly proud.

Gogo Maweni hogged the news headlines in 2019, after it was reported that she took her baby daddy Siyabonga Zulu to court over child maintenance issues.

His career took a turn for the worse when he was fired by Sundowns for allegedly missing his disciplinary hearing. This follows after he was performing poorly at the club.

Speaking to a local publication, Khoza refuted claims that he was on drugs. “It was [a] moment where I was treated in a bad way and I lost my s**t. No one was hurt, just somebody was sworn at.

“People like to say nonsense. I don’t do drugs, my family know that. I’ve taken drug tests in front of my family members. It’s literally one of those moments where I was rubbed the wrong way and I reacted, that’s that,” he explains.
