Sifiso Makhubu has been identified as the voice behind Big Brother in the Big Brother Mzansi show. Sifiso who has been a voice over artist for many years was identified by a fan of the show on Twitter.

@Moniccalizzy tweeted: “Those who don’t know this is Biggie and revealed his face.”

Fans of the Big Brother show immediately identified him as the voice command as he’s heard talking exactly like Big Brother from the show.

Big Brother’s face has been a mystery since the inception of the show as many fans have wondered whether he’s a real person or a computer.

Fans also stated on Twitter that Sifiso Makhubu was the voice-over artist on Big Brother Africa reality TV show.

Big Brother gives housemates instructions, and also acts as a therapist by listening to them in the diary room where they share their darkest secrets, their conspiracy theories, and their strategies to win the R2 million prize money at the end of the competition.

Big Brother also welcomes housemates into the show and reveals when its time for them to exit the show.

Housemates are evicted when they receive the least amount of votes from their fans.

He also assists them when they play games and announces the winner at the end of the competition.

Sources from several Big Brother houses have stated that there’s more than one Big Brother even though Housemates are led to believe they’re talking to one Big Brother.

When housemates wish to talk to Big Brother, they’re usually put onto a producer whose voice is remastered to sound like the actual Big Brother in post-production for the show.

This means that voice-over artists don’t work around the clock as fans predicted.

Another fan confirmed that Sifiso is the voice-over artist as they once heard him speaking IsiZulu when he was working at the Big Brother Africa.

“I knew he was Zulu but it’s the first time I see his face. When it was BBA they forgot to switch off his mic at night while the housemates were sleeping and he was having a conversation in Isizulu with other people. I was so surprised coz I thought he from Nigeria.”

There’s been plenty of grumbling about Halo Infinite recently, with some of its biggest streamers turning to other games(opens in new tab), and 343 is looking to regain some of the game’s early momentum with a fan-pleasing season 2 refresh. The most eye-catching element of Halo’s pass by far is the fact that it will never expire, an unusual tactic that was announced last year(opens in new tab).

Season 2 will arrive on May 3 and is called Lone Wolves. It will add new maps, including what looks like a new big team battle map with a giant laser in the middle, new modes, limited-time events, and that battle pass refresh. There are serious Big Iron Banner vibes here, which is Destiny’s time-limited competitive mode, and given that 343 has been testing free-for-all game types during the current season (and the name Lone Wolves) this looks like being a big push for that gamestyle: it’s not quite Halo Royale, but probably as close as Infinite will get.

Ever since launch there have been complaints about Infinite’s monetisation, to the extent that the prices of items were reduced in January(opens in new tab), alongside a promise players would be able to earn premium currency from season 2 onwards(opens in new tab). Also due to arrive during season 2 is co-op(opens in new tab), though don’t expect that May 3, while the big remaining question for Halo Infinite is when Forge will arrive(opens in new tab).

Valorant Youtube Streamer and experimental rapper IShowSpeed has been banned from all Riot games after a video of him verbally abusing a female player surfaced on Twitter.

The video, which was posted on Twitter by the co-owner of FullSquadGaming, Jake Lucky, shows IShowSpeed unleashing a verbal tirade against a female player after receiving some mild criticism from another player about his performance. In the clip, IShowSpeed repeatedly calls the female player a “bitch”, and asks “Is a female talking to me?” before saying “get off the fucking game and do your husband’s dishes”.

Lucky’s tweet caught the attention of higher-ups at both YouTube and Riot Games. Replying to Lucky, Riot Game Producer Sara Dadafshar said(opens in new tab) “we do NOT want players like this in our community at all,” before stating that she had “perma-banned” IShowSpeed from Valorant and “all other” Riot games. Meanwhile, replying to the same thread, YouTube’s global head of Gaming Creators said he was “On it although at the time of writing, IShowSpeed’s YouTube account is still up and accessible.

Don’t Shit Your Pants studio Cellar Door Games has announced an April 28 launch date for Rogue Legacy 2, a sequel to its breakout 2013 platformer roguelite. Rogue Legacy 2 has been in Early Access since August 2020, and over that time it has grown a total of 15 playable classes, and an approach to progress that shies away from rinse-and-repeat permadeath gameplay.

As far as the latter is concerned, Rogue Legacy 2 has “heirlooms” that grant the player permanent abilities and upgrades, which is an expansion on the base-building element in the original that provided a sense of overall progress, even upon death. The game’s trait system is back as well, taking the form of various nerfs and buffs you’ll enjoy or suffer with each run. These are part of the series’ genealogical approach to its heroes: each time you die, your character’s child succeeds you, with some of their inherited strengths and weaknesses. You’ll also get to spend some of the money they earned kitting out the family estate.

But the first thing that stands out about Rogue Legacy 2 is how pretty it looks. The original had a decent art style as far as pixel art platformers are concerned, but Rogue Legacy 2 has a 2.5D approach that resembles old ’90s cartoons. It’s a real looker, and the variety of biomes (lava areas, snow areas, castle areas) is a real step up from the relatively samey original.

Less than a month into popular Moja Love reality show Lovey Dovey, it has already been riddled with drama.

The channel has announced that it will be evicting one of the contestants, Gift Masuku, on the episode that will air on Saturday, 9 April.

It released a statement, saying some female contestants had accused him of s.e.xual harassment and were uncomfortable with him in the house.

“Moja Love (DStv 157) has evicted Gift (34) from the Lovey Dovey mansion, following serious allegations of s.e.xual harassment against him. Several female participants opened up to the production team about how uncomfortable they were feeling because of ‘his inability to draw the line’ and s.e.xual advances. Following complaints, the channel immediately decided to remove him from the mansion and discontinue his participation,” read the statement.

Head of Moja Love TV channels Bokani Moyo said they removed him because of the serious allegations.

“Moja Love takes such allegations seriously, which is why we decided to remove Gift from the house with immediate effect. His behaviour is appalling and despicable in a society that is battling gender-based violence on a daily basis. As a channel, it was crucial that we take such action as we do not tolerate any form of harassment,” she said.

The channel shared that it also provided support for the contestants through its social worker and counsellor.

“The channel has provided support to female participants through Basani Chauke, who is a channel-affiliated social worker and counsellor. She has provided counselling to the participants, who indicated that they are comfortable to continue their participation in the reality show.

Participants stand a chance to find love, win a wedding of their dreams and half a million rands.”

The reality show, hosted by Somizi Mhlongo and Gabisile Tshabalala, is about 15 contestants all coming into one house to find love where every week, they get eliminated.

“This was made up, it is staged. I was also shocked when I was told I was evicted. They called me to ask if I know why I was disqualified and I said no. They told me six ladies in the house are uncomfortable around me. I asked how that was possible because I had never interacted with them before. They then changed and said someone said I called her in a manner in which she’s not comfortable with,” said Gift.

“They changed the story countless times and when I spoke to some of the girls who have also been eliminated, they told me they don’t know anything about the allegations. So, this was just a way to get me out,” he said.

Gift said he will be taking legal action against the channel.

“When I left, they told me they would not say anything because they do not have proof of what really happened, but now that I know they released a statement saying this about me, I will be taking action against them,” he said.

“They are ruining my name and reputation for nothing. They have footage of everything happening in the house, they can look at it and see if this really happened or not. I feel I should take a stand for myself because this will not be a good picture for my image and work,” he said.

I thought I’d seen it all, until I witnessed a motorized Mercy player.

Last weekend, Overwatch streamer EvilToaster tweeted a video clip of his encounter with the strange Mercy player, Draco. He stood out from a usual Mercy player because, instead of periodically switching between his yellow healing beam and blue damage-boosting beam depending on a situation, Draco’s beam would rapidly cycle from yellow to blue hundreds of times per minute without stopping.

When asked later in the match how he was cycling abilities so quickly, Draco revealed his trick: a custom motor working in conjunction with a Logitech G502 mouse to spin his free-scrolling mouse wheel as quickly as possible.
Despite enthusiastic requests from the streamer, Draco didn’t initially share pictures of his motor-assisted mouse—an unsatisfying end to a fun encounter.

The highly anticipated celebrity boxing match between Mzansi hip-hop star Cassper Nyovest aka Mufasa and NaakMusiQ took place today, 9 April, at Sun City in Rustenburg and Mzansi is talking. No one really saw this win coming as thousands if not millions of people were putting their cents on Abuti Fill Up.

Well, it is a done deal and the Xhosa man won the match after 2 out of 3 judges favoured him against Cassper. It was indeed a great fight, with both compatible men facing off for the Celebrity Boxing Championship title.

It was a fight of 5 rounds of 2 minutes for each round. Obviously, both ends were very active in the first round as they went all out, and then gradually got exhausted as the following rounds went on. Cassper’s moves were impressive since it wasn’t the time boxing, unlike Naak who was in the ring for the first time. He did well though!

However, towards the last 3 rounds, Cassper was doing too much hugging which might have greatly contributed to his loss.

Cassper Nyovest had barely come to terms with the fact that he had lost his match to Naakmusiq when Slik Talk posted a video mocking his embarrassing defeat.

Naakmusiq emerged as the winner of the highly anticipated fight against Cass on Saturday night in Sun City. The two faced off in a sold-out performance attended by fans, celebrities, and the South African boxing fraternity.

And naturally, his former opponent had a lot to say about his loss…

Minutes after Naakmusiq was announced as the winner of the fight, Slik Talk uploaded a new YouTube video poking fun at Cassper.

And he could barely contain his excitement.

He said: “I was going to wait until morning, but f**k it, this is a special occasion”.

Mzansi radio personality Pabi Moloi’s baby daddy – Ruan Adams – who claims he’s paid lobola for her in 2016 is seeking division of their multimillion-rand estate and R8500 spousal support after the pair separated.

Adams says he’s entitled to 50% of their estate as their customar marriage is recognized by law.

A legal battle is looming between Power FM’s radio personality Pabi Moloi and her baby daddy – Ruan Adams over the legality of their customary marriage and division of their estate.

The letter which has been shared by a local publication states that Adams is entitled to 50% of their estate as their customary marriage was recognised by law as marriage in a community of property.

His lawyer Lutendo Siphuma of SL Attorneys also requests the mother of his child to disclose all the properties and vehicles to the joint estate.

Moloi’s lawyer Vanessa Da Silva of Ulrich Roux & Associates replied to Siphuma:

“Our client specifically denies that she was ever married to your client, be it in terms of civil law or customary law.”

“As such, our client denies that any joint estate exists between herself and your client.”

“In light of the above, our client is under no obligation to furnish your client, nor is your client entitled to demand, the financial documentation requested.”

Moloi also told the Sunday tabloid “there was no marriage” when she was reached for comment.

A source close to the couple says Adams insists he and Moloi got married when he paid R25 000 lobola for her.

Adams reportedly has wedding pictures to prove their union and said blankets were handed over on their wedding day and that traditional beer was consumed.

The families danced and Moloi’s grandmother made a speech before handing her over as makoti.

Another source revealed that Adams wants the media personality to pay him R8500 spousal maintenance a month so that he can continue to live the luxurious lifestyle he led during their marriage.

Their joint estate allegedly includes a house in Broadacres in Fourways; a house in Noordwyk, Midrand; a house in Elton Hill and Edenburg in Sandton; and two houses in Waverley.

The estate also includes a white Jeep Cherokee, grey Suzuki, household furniture, her shares, investments, and savings.

His lawyer said the assets should be sold and the proceeds should be shared equally or she could buy him out by paying him half of the value of each property after evaluation by a registered valuer.

The TV and radio personality took to Instagram in 2016 and broke the news to fans with a cozy picture of her and her ‘new hubby’ dressed in traditional attire.

After the much-anticipated boxing match between Cassper Nyovest and Naak Musiq on the 09 of April 2022, Mzansi has been pittying who they want to see fighting off in the boxing ring. A Somizi and Lasizwe boxing match seems to be happening soon if the trend map is anything to go by.

Naak Musiq defeated Cassper Nyovest in the celebrity boxing match which was sold out. The event was the most talked about in the entertainment scene over the weekend. It would seem like a new niche has been discovered for boxing in South Africa. After the Naak and Cassper event, Big Zulu took to the ring and challenged anyone to fight him, and announced that he was looking for an opponent.

However, it would seem like Mzansi wants to see a Somizi and Lasizwe boxing match next. Lasizwe had taken to Twitter to announce that a match between AKA and Cassper could break the internet but Mzansi was having none of that rather opting for a Somizi and Lasizwe boxing match instead.

One of Mzansi’s fave couples, actor Bohang Moeko and his fitness enthusiast wife Shantal, decided to share what makes their marriage healthy. Shantal, also known as Shanty, shared tips on her Instagram, telling lovers to prioritise their health as individuals and as a couple.

“Relationship advice from B and I: Prioritise your wellness as a couple. We decided very early in our relationship that we’re going to invest in our wellness together so illness doesn’t rob us from being able to create the most beautiful memories together.
We hold each other accountable, we support one another and we’re always reminding each other of the importance of balance. Businessman and rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes remembers his late fiancée Anele ‘Nellie’ Tembe – who passed on 10 April 2021.

Today marks a year since Tembe fell to her death from the 10th floor of the Pepper Club Hotel in Cape Town.

The rapper tells a local publication that it’s been a daily struggle for him since her passing and that he was depressed and had to go to therapy.

Kiernan Forbes was with Tembe in the hotel on the morning of her death.

“My mother stepped in and sought the services of both a grief counsellor and a therapist. At first, it was depressing to even make the effort to speak to them, but, in time, I got into it, and it has been a huge change and a saving grace in my life. I now consciously make more time for family.

He adds that his daughter – Kairo Forbes has been his strength and sanity and that he also has his dog, Mr Louis, who in some way is like a friend to him.

“In those dark times, it’s just me and him at the house and he pulls me through with a nudge or just knowing when to snug up to me in a low moment.”

“It is a daily struggle. I still get anxious at times. My first trip back to Cape Town, for my grandmother’s funeral last year, was a huge breakdown moment for me … so much was going through my mind.”

The rapper adds that he had to put his rap career on hold by cancelling music gigs and public appearances in 2021 so that he can grieve.

“Grief is a process with no timeline or expiration date. Through therapy, I have come to learn that it never goes away, it just gets better with time.”

“Yet at any moment you can find yourself right back at the bottom.”

“I surrender myself completely to it. This period of grief and depression also led me to dig deep, to explore my inner feelings,” the rapper said.

Forbes also made headlines when videos of him physically abusing the late Tembe surfaced which he says also caused a strain in relations between his family and hers.

“With Anele’s passing, so many things happened and the newly formed relationships were affected, even those that I needed in those early days.”

“When I left the Tembe home, a day after her funeral, I left an open door … I will forever see them as my family and I regret that we were unable to go through the mourning and healing process together. They will forever be in my prayers.”

His lawyer Rudolph Baloyi says they’d not been told of any developments into Tembe’s death:

“We have never received a formal update, apart from requests for statements in the first half of last year.”

Tembe’s father Moses also told the publication that they had not received any updates on the investigation into his daughter’s passing.

“For us, we have faith in the effectiveness of the SA Police Service. “

Globe-trotting human rights activist Hopewell Chin’ono is part of a United States-funded regime-change agenda created to bash Zimbabwe and portray it in a negative light, former MDC-T member Tongai Matutu has revealed.

In an expose on a micro-blogging site, Twitter Matutu narrated how Chin’ono was approached and funded by the United States embassy in Harare to use social and digital media to viciously attack the Zimbabwean government in order to create anarchy and socio-political destabilisation.

“I am not even surprised with what Chin’ono is doing; it’s not something new. I know how all this started. In 2018, pushing for regime change, the US shifted its focus on NGOs to a vicious online project dubbed digital activism, which is targeting journalists, youths and urbanites. With our help in the MDC, the US Embassy then released over US$10 million on December 26 2018 to online media houses and civil society in a campaign meant to mobilize people towards an uprising against Government,” Matutu says.

Since then, the US Embassy has been closely working round the clock with individuals like Chin’ono, Simba Chikanza and other digital activists to create political instability for the purpose of unseating the ruling ZANU PF Party from power, Matutu claims.

He says media organisations such as 263Chat, Bus Stop TV and Citizen Manifesto were funded to the tune of US$4,2 million combined. Citizen Manifesto received US$1 million; @263Chat US$1,5 million, Bus Stop TV US$1,7 million and $1,5 million was administered under the @ZimHRNGOForum.

Matutu describes a well-orchestrated plan by the US embassy working in cahoots with local media and civil rights organisations to fund anti-ZANU PF messages, with Chin’ono seemingly playing a central role.

“Part of the money was also extended to Magamba Network led by Samm Munroe aka Cde Fatso. Zenzele Ndebele of CITE was given a total of US$2 million and was tasked to train social media outlets on how to package their anti-ZANU PF Govt messages and orchestrate revolts in Zimbabwe. The Embassy then began some wide consultations with Hopewell Chin’ono who received a share of US$500 000. He was housed at the US embassy in Westgate for the whole month of December 2018. The discussion was on the role independent media and journalists play in any democracy. Nichols met with Chin’ono and Mdudhuzi mathuthu of ZimLive after the failed January 2019 protests to strategise how best digital activism can be promoted. They received a total of US$1,5 million and were tasked to demonise the Government using satire.”

Another similar project targeting Zimbabwe was also launched, the Africa Digital Rights Fund of The Collaboration on International ICT Policy for East and Southern Africa which is being funded by George Soros, HiVOS, Ford Foundation, Global Network Initiative and the Sweden Govt. A total of USD$6 million was awarded to 10 initiatives for the purpose of advancing digital rights in 16 African countries–Algeria, Burundi, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Senegal, South Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe, Matutu explains.

“This is how all this madness started. This is when they mastered the art of creating fake stories especially when we are approaching international and regional events. The idea is to soil the image of the government and incite civil unrest in the country. I was part of all this!”

Chin’ono has been on an anti-Zimbabwe crusade for years, with a recent appearance in Geneva where he purported to defend the human and health rights of Zimbabweans.

The activist, who parades himself as a multi-award winning journalist, has been described as the modern-day Morrison Nyathi, whose insatiable appetite for wealth and women knows no bounds even if it means inviting evil sanctions that kill his innocent country, men, women and children. He also enjoys flaunting his ill-gotten wealth on social media, ironically, though claiming to fight for the poor. Zimbabwe has suffered crippling American sanctions for more than two decades after the then MDC party leaders went to bed with Americans and helped in crafting the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act (ZIDERA), a draconian document fit for the slave trade era, but masqueraded as a piece of legislation to help Zimbabweans.

The devilish act was signed into law by George W. Bush on 21 December 2001 and over the years, anti-Zimbabwe crusaders such as Tendai Biti, Nelson Chamisa and of late Hopewell Chin’ono, have been fighting day and night to ensure the legislation is kept in place to enable the illegal sanctions to remain, in the vain hope that people’s suffering will one day topple the democratically-elected ZANU PF Government.

South African rapper Blacklez revealed it took him two years to shake off the title “Dineo Ranaka‘s” ex after the pair split.

Speaking in a tell-all interview with media personality Dineo a on her podcast #OpenIdwithDineo, the rapper opened up about their relationship.

He was called a clout chaser when he appeared on the media personality’s reality show Dineo’s Diary. The show followed radio presenter Dineo while she went about her daily life.

When season one came to an end, Dineo was pregnant with Blacklez’s baby and had kicked him out of their house, dumping his clothes outside the gate.

The rapper said people often asked him about that incident and he tried to shake it off.

“Now I branch off on my own, I become that guy who dated Dineo for the next two years. I have to work that sh*t off. Everywhere some girls throw it at me. Years trying to show people I’m legit until I stopped trying to show them I’m legit. I was like, haai it doesn’t matter any more, I’m just gonna do what I do. That hurt me more because in between I was trying to mourn my mother.”

During an interview on Cape Talk years ago the rapper defended his baby mama’s character.

“I think she’s one of the misunderstood people, but I think people are starting to see her character. She’s one human being who cares so much about human beings.”

The former couple have a five-year-old daughter Kopano and are happily co-parenting.

“Time is the most precious commodity. We came to the realization we have a daughter and time is so precious.”

1 pound tri-coloured spiral pasta
6 tablespoons salad seasoning mix
1 (16 ounces) bottle of Italian-style salad dressing
2 cups cherry tomatoes, diced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, diced
½ yellow bell pepper, chopped
1 (2.25 ounce) can of black olives, chopped

Directions / Instructions:

Step 1

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente, rinse under cold water and drain.

Step 2

Whisk together the salad spice mix and Italian dressing.

Step 3

In a salad bowl, combine the pasta, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers and olives. Pour dressing over salad; toss and refrigerate overnight.
