Nota Baloyi: Zahara needs a good husband like him

Nota Baloyi slams Zahara’s drunkenness after South Africans accused her of being under the influence of alcohol while performing at the Macufe Divas concert on Friday night.

The singer tried defending herself but failed; she claimed the viral video that sparked the rumors and assumptions was edited.

“Don’t edit things to put me down, God is good all the time. Stop this nonsense,” she said.

Taking to Twitter, Nota who is famously known to be an outspoken critic said Zahara’s lack of a good husband contributed to her love for alcohol which is gradually eating up her career.

The critic further compared his estranged wife, Berita to the singer.

“If you’re in the media & entertainment industry the best thing you can teach your wife is how to make her own money without selling her body… My wife’s career & Zahara’s career started at similar times but today my wife owns most of her masters & she knows how to market herself,” he wrote.

“If Zahara found a good husband whose half the man that I am she wouldn’t be performing to pay SARS & drowning her sorrows in alcohol before she gets on stage. Substance abuse ends in jail, institutionalization or death. Unfortunately, she’s not the Zodwa Wabantu or Mihlali type,” he added.

However, people didn’t seem pleased with how Nota still calls Berita his wife despite their separation which is presumed to lead to a divorce.

MaMkhize stressed by Royal AM goalkeeper’s critical condition

Reality TV star, Shauwn Mkhize expresses disappointment in South Africa’s sportsmanship after revealing that Royal AM’s goalkeeper, Patrick Nyame is in critical condition in the hospital.

According to the businesswoman, Patrick sustained a head injury during the DSTV Premiership fixture on Tuesday, which almost claimed his life.

The past two days have been very traumatic for the team and I. Our goalkeeper, Patrick Nyame suffered an almost life-threatening head injury in our #DStvPremiership fixture against Supersport on Tuesday. I had to stay the whole night at the hospital completely forgotten about the loss all what I wanted was for him to wake up,” she wrote.

You know, one wakes up in the morning excited to go support their team, and then the worst thing happens. We had to make a life-changing decision in order to save our keepers life.”

Shauwn said it looked minor on TV but it affected his brain which left him in a coma for days.

While it may have looked like a minor incident on TV, it was a severe concussion that affected his head/brain, he was in the ICU and in a coma for two days. What’s difficult is that you still have to be strong for the rest of the team and tell everyone that everything is going to be okay even if you are not sure. Sbahle’s accident really taught me a lot on how to handle a situation like this.”

Mkhize expresses disappointment in the opposition football team, as none called to check up on Patrick.

She further disclosed that the goalkeeper has been moved from the ICU after being conscious.

I am however, disappointed that not a single person from the opposing team has picked up the phone or sent a message to check on his condition. What happened to sportsmanship?!? I guess we are not the same.”

I can now confirm that Patrick is conscious but still in hospital. He has been moved from ICU and will now begin his recovery. We wish him well and thank God that he is safe.”

On Saturday’s episode of Zodwa Wabantu‘s reality show, Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored, Zodwa Libram told viewers that while she was out for a good time, a mysterious man approached her and told her that she needed to buy clothes for children.

Zodwa said this confused her because she did not know what it meant so she called her traditional healer, Mshunqisi. He then told her that it meant that she either had a miscarriage or an abortion.

While shopping for clothes in preparation for the cleansing for her children, Zodwa then dropped the bombshell that has her trending on Twitter and said that in her lifetime she has terminated about 11 pregnancies.

“Me to you, the number of abortions I have done in my entire life are about 11,” the exotic dancer explained.

Zodwa also said that because she does not know the gender of any of her children, she decided to buy a mixture of colours, those being blues, pinks, and yellows.

The mother of one said she did not want to exclude any of her children so she had to buy a lot of clothes so that none of her kids feel excluded.

Zodwa’s traditional healer explained to her, “If a child passed away because of a miscarriage you need to acknowledge and cleanse that child. That child is also treated as a child that is living

The traditional healer says that it is important for one to acknowledge, cleanse and speak to these kids.

He said most men do not know that their girlfriends terminate pregnancies and as such they fail to secure a job amongst other things.

It is important to do a cleansing because if you don’t, the father of that child will suffer” said the traditional healer

Her sister chimed in and said she does not believe that Zodwa has had that many abortions. She said she is a witness to only one termination and that was when Zodwa still lived at home.

The socialite and her traditional healer then prepared sweets, biscuits, and milk for the departed kids. She apologized to the kids and told them to share the sweets and be good to each other.

Angry Zanu-PF supporters in Chegutu East have threatened to withdraw support from President Emmerson Mnangagwa and vote him out of power come next year’s general election.

This comes as 300 families face potential displacement to make way for a proposed platinum mining for a Chinese firm.

The families were allocated the land after the reform program and have been living there since then.

Most are retired civil servants who depend on small-scale farming.

Speaking during a meeting held at Hopewell farm Chegutu, the disgruntled villagers blamed Mnangagwa for their imminent eviction.

One plot holder said: “Even him (President Emmerson Mnangagwa) if we are evicted, the election is coming, who will vote for him, how will he win the election, will the Chinese vote for him, will one person make him win? They cannot support one corrupt person at the expense of hundreds”.

“We fought for this land, and you cannot tell us to leave, where do you want us to go as old as we are? Hurumende ngaiticherechedzewo, murombo haavigwi ari mupenyu munotoumirira kuti afe, we suffered for this land and our pain cannot go in vain because of one person,” he added.

“Yes, we fought the whites and they left, now fellow blacks are fighting us, we cannot be fighting each other,” weighed in another.

Mashonaland West province is a known Zanu-PF stronghold.

Nationwide, thousands of families have been displaced to make way for Chinese investors farming, mining or any other construction works.

Villagers in Manicaland forced to pay US$25 for rain making ceremony

A headman in Mutasa district, Manicaland allegedly forced his subjects to pay US$25 each per homestead towards a traditional rain-making ceremony known as Mukwerera in Shona in Honde Valley.

This emerged in court where Mutasa magistrate Artwell Sanyatwe issued a ruling interdicting the headman for Haudikuvanda A village, Tonderayi Mandeya from forcing villagers to fund the rain making ceremony.

In September 2021, Mandeya banned some villagers, who are devout members of Apostolic Faith Church, from exercising their faith at their shrine after they refused to pay any money for the traditional ceremony.

Through their lawyers from the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR), the villagers filed an application at Mutasa Magistrates Court in March this year challenging Mandeya’s ruling.

In the application, the villagers argued that forcing them to pay US$25 for a traditional rain-making ceremony was contrary to their religious beliefs and violated their fundamental right to freedom of religion.

Sanyatwe ruled in their favour ordering Mandeya to stop barring the villagers from practising, propagating and expressing their religion at their Casa Banana church site.

Sanyatwe also interdicted Mandeya from demanding money from villagers for rain-making ceremonies.

Video: AKA disses Cassper Nyovest

AKA and Cassper Nyovest might have rehashed their beef, but it seems as though AKA has one up on Cassper.

Over the weekend Cassper and his crew ‘pulled’ up on AKA but was left with eggs on their faces when Kiernan chucked the middle finger at them.

A very displeased Casper had to enjoy a performance from AKA who sang his hit single Composure. In the diss track, AKA takes a swipe at a few rappers but the song was mainly aimed at Cassper, his long-standing enemy.

Mzansi cannot deal with AKA just did to Cass and the two are trending with Composure trending at the top of the list.

Following his embarrassing match with Priddy Ugly, Casper Nyovest expressed his desires to have AKA in the ring with him. Clearly not interested in his request, AKA ignored Cassper but they rehashed their beef on Twitter.

“I really want the AKA fight but knowing the little scared baby he is , he is going to run until until and avoid this topic. We all know he is scared of me so the question is for Cassper Nyovest. Who’s next ? Who would yall like to see me fight next?” tweeted Cassper.

K.O and Young Stunna perform SETE together – Watch

It is nearly the end of the year, thankfully, and the votes for the Song of the Year are quickly coming in the current front-runner is the surprise comeback hit single by K.O SETE featuring Young Stunna and Blxckie. The single is another case of Zakes Bantwini’s Osama, which dominated the music and radio charts locally in the face of the height of Amapiano locally.

While the song might be a smash hit, the first and only time that fans have gotten to see K.O, Young Stunna, and Blxckie perform the song together was on the actual music video. A music video that currently sits with over 8 million views in just over a month. The growing record continues to affirm why K.O was the first Hip-Hop artist to reach a million views for his CaraCara music video a few years ago.

While the trio is yet to actually perform the song together, K.O did give his fans and those of the song an exclusive recently as he performed the song with Young Stunna.

K.O and Young Stunna perform SETE together

A lot happened during the recent Spring Fiesta which was held on Saturday, 8 October 2022. While some of it garnered attention for all the wrong reasons, AKA and Cassper getting into it again. The festival aimed at marking the beginning of the summertime season in South Ah, did have standout moments too.

Probably one of the biggest highlights is courtesy of the headliner of the concert, K.O, who performed a set of his hits on the main stage. While fans appreciated the entire set as a whole, one element that exceeded their expectations came with the performance of SETE.

This is as K.O would invite Young Stunna to perform their collaborative hit single together for the first time ever. SETE despite being the mega-hit that it is currently has never been performed live with all three artists sharing the stage, even on television. The only reason that Blxckie was not part of the performance was due to the fact that he was scheduled to perform at Rocking The Daisies in Cape Town at the time.

I am a sports medicine consultant actually. My career started in physio. I went to Wits and studied physio. Ruling Zanu-PF party Saturday won two of the contested Rural District Council seats in Nyanga and Mberengwa.

The two seats became vacant after the deaths of Zanu-PF councillors Matongo Collins and Ravasingadi Zhou.

Zanu-PF retained the two seats with huge margins against its rival Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC).

According to official results published by the Zimbabwe Election Commission (ZEC) in Nyanga Ward 27, Nyazenga Simon of Zanu-PF garnered 376 while Tichiwangani Artwell Taurai of CCC got 123.

In Mberengwa Ward 15 Nkonzo Albenias garnered 765 while Dhongijena Cornias of CCC got 165.The ruling party won amid intimidation and vote buying allegations.

Zanu-PF was also accused of influencing the traditional leaders in those areas to force-march their subjects to vote for the ruling party.

However, CCC deputy spokesperson Ostallos Siziba said the opposition party was embarking on a rural mobilisation exercise.

“More work must be done to close the gap. This was a by-election for a Zanu-PF seat and despite intimidation and patronage networks.

“Some braved out and voted for CCC. We are going there for a post-mortem and a grassroots mobilisation program so that we can build from there,” Siziba said.

Tamia Mpisane’s mom sold a dirty designer dress

Royal AM boss Andile Mpisane’s mother-in-law –Delvis Stifler Louw – is involved in a tug-of-war with a popular designer store after it allegedly sold her a “dirty dress”.

An unimpressed Louw took to her Instagram page this week to “expose” top celebrity fashion house FabroSanz Creations for being unprofessional and failing to refund her after she was sold a “dirty dress”.

However, FabroSanz Creations owner Sandi Mazibuko described Louw as being “dramatic” because her refund had been processed.

Mazibuko revealed that Louw’s refund had already been approved by their accountant and was processed on Thursday night from the shop’s other bank account. She said that could explain why the money had not yet reflected in Louw’s account.

On Friday she confirmed to that Louw spent R43 000 at the Nelson Mandela Square store in Sandton a week ago where she bought a hat and a dress.

Mazibuko said:

She came back to the store after her [Instagram] post on Monday and spoke to our store manager and explained to him [what the problem was] because the lady who assisted her at the time was not there. She said the dress she bought was dirty, which meant that it was dirty when we sold it to her.

The creative director said when the dress was returned, it had makeup marks which were not there when Louw bought it a week ago.

“We did not have any proof that the dress was dirty when she bought it. She wanted a refund, and the dress was returned dirty. So, [our policy says] we don’t refund if the dress is returned in a non-saleable condition. But we were advised to just refund her because the assistant who assisted her was not there and is no longer working for us,” Mazibuko said.

FabroSanz, which is located at the prestigious mall in Sandton, sells high-end Nguni traditional designer outfits. The fashion store dresses celebrities and has previously partnered with the Miss SA pageant to dress former title holder Shudufhadzo Musida.

The store also dresses media personalities such as the Real Housewives of Durban star Thobile Mseleku and award-winning actress Jessica Nkosi.

Louw is the mother of Tamia Mpisane, who married the Royal AM club boss early this year. She is the co-founder and CEO of Riqueza Holdings, a company that caters for clients with money. It also offers financial wellness coaching.

On Instagram she did not mince her words when she shared her experience, saying she was disgusted by how she was treated at the store when she returned the dress this week.

Louw fumed:

They say it’s dirty. I did not take it out of the shopping bag after buying it. It was taken off their mannequin, so how exactly did I dirty it? I didn’t even try that particular dress on as I tried a red one off the floor in the same size and ended up buying a yellow one off the mannequin.

“So, how exactly did I dirty the dress that I didn’t even wear? Why is the red one not dirty? They are trying everything and anything to get out of giving me a cash refund because of ‘their policy’, which is not stated anywhere in their store, is that they give you a voucher [instead of cash],” she vented.

Her phone went unanswered on Friday as she was said to be travelling to Dubai. But earlier she had insisted on social media that she wanted her money back.

“I don’t want no voucher. I want nothing from that store! I left those clothes at your shop on Friday [last week] and still haven’t received a call from them.

“Mind you, they didn’t even give me a receipt. They just asked for my email address, so the only proof of purchase I had was the speed point slip,” she fumed.

Zimbabwean man and daughter are among victims of a bomb blast in Ireland

A Zimbabwean father and his daughter are among the 10 victims of a bomb blast in Ireland.
Shauna Flanagan Garwe, 5, was with her father, Robert Garwe, 50.

They were there buying a birthday cake when the explosion happened.

Robert Garwe is originally from Wedza in Zimbabwe.

Ten people including a schoolgirl were killed in an explosion at a gas station in Ireland’s northwest, police said Saturday suggesting a “tragic accident” may have been to blame.

The blast occurred around 3:20 p.m. (1520 GMT) Friday in the County Donegal village of Creeslough, Ireland’s police, the Garda Siochana, said in a news conference Saturday.

“The 10 casualties are four men, three women, two teenagers a boy and a girl and a younger girl,” said police, adding that all the victims appeared to be locals.

The death toll was not expected to rise, as no one remains unaccounted for, the police said.

Authorities are treating the incident with an “open mind” but said that “our information at this moment in time is pointing towards a tragic accident.”

Focus will turn to the causes of the incident once the search and recovery operation is completed.

Rescue efforts by Ireland’s emergency services went on through the night after the blast ripped through a gas station forecourt and a nearby apartment complex.

An aerial photograph taken after the explosion showed the gas station building was destroyed.

Two two-story residential buildings behind it had collapsed, while the facade of a similar adjacent building was blown off.

Resident Kieran Gallagher, whose house is about 150 meters (500 feet) from the scene, said the blast sounded like a “bomb.”

“I was in my house at the time and heard the explosion. Instantly I knew it was something — it was like a bomb going off,” he told the BBC.

At a service at the local church Saturday morning, Father John Joe Duffy said the community had been hit by “a tsunami of grief.”

Many emergency services vehicles remained at the scene overnight, including fire services from both sides of the border with British-run Northern Ireland.

Gardai and civil defense personnel were also involved, and a coastguard helicopter airlifted some of the injured from Letterkenny University Hospital to the capital Dublin for further treatment.

The university hospital, some 24 kilometers (15 miles) from the explosion, was placed on an emergency status to deal with “multiple injuries,” it said in a statement.

Ireland’s premier Micheal Martin called it a “very dark day” as he spoke to the media briefly before heading to the scene.

“The scale and enormity of it, it’s such a small community, it means that almost everybody will know on a friendly basis people who’ve lost their lives,” he said.

“It’s a very dark day for the people of Donegal and for Ireland.”

Martin spoke to members of the emergency services after arriving, thanking them for their efforts.

“We do need to get to the bottom of all that,” he said of the tragedy.

“This is a scale of death and injury that we do not want to see happening as people go about their daily lives.

“A young child in the shop loses her life, and two teenagers,” he added. “It is truly a shocking, tragic event that has brought an incredible toll on this community.”

Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue, who represents northeast Donegal in the Irish parliament, compared the scenes to events during the decadeslong sectarian conflict on the island of Ireland over British rule in Northern Ireland.

“People are shocked and numbed,” McConalogue told Irish broadcaster RTE.

“The scenes from the event are reminiscent of the images from The Troubles years ago, in terms of the scene on the ground and the damage and the debris.”

Creeslough is around 50 kilometers (30 miles) from the border with Northern Ireland and has a population of about 400 people.

The Applegreen service station is on the N56 road, which loops around the northern tip of the Irish Republic.

Applegreen tweeted that the news was “devastating.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the deceased, those who have been injured and the wider Creeslough community,” said the company.

Eberechi Eze scored a fine goal as Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Leeds at Selhurst Park and end their winless run in the Premier League.

The visitors had deservedly taken the lead early on when Pascal Struijk drove in after Brenden Aaronson hit the post following excellent work inside the box.

Crystal Palace were struggling to impose themselves and Patrick Bamford, making his first Leeds start since August, forced a save out of Vicente Guaita.

But the hosts equalised midway through the first half when Odsonne Edouard headed in from Michael Olise’s free-kick.

Jordan Ayew was unable to put Palace ahead in the second half when he appeared in on goal, only for Rasmus Kristensen to make an excellent last-ditch challenge.

But Eze secured the three points with a superb individual strike, running across the edge of the area before firing low into the back of the net.

The win – Palace’s first in five Premier League games – moves them up to 15th and three points clear of the relegation zone, level on nine points with Leeds, who are 14th.

Palace started the day in a relatively precarious position, just one point above the bottom three after winning one of their first seven league games.

The caveat, however, was that they had faced four of the traditional ‘big six’ in that run, so boss Patrick Vieira would have looked to this game as more of an indicator of how they could perform this season.

Initially, the assessment would have been concerning as they struggled to cope with the Leeds press, making sloppy mistakes at the back while passes went astray.

But the Eagles improved after getting the equaliser, and in the end, were good value for their win.

While Eze will take the headlines for his excellent goal, just as important to the victory was centre-back Joachim Andersen, who almost singlehandedly repelled anything the visitors had to offer in the second half.

After avoiding relegation on the final day of the last term, Leeds is hoping for a less stressful time in what is boss Jesse Marsch’s first full season in charge.

The West Yorkshire side made an excellent start to the campaign with wins against Wolves and Chelsea in their first three games, but they are now without a win since late August.

They began this match in dominant form as Palace struggled to deal with them, with Aaronson looking lively and Bamford sharp on his return to the starting XI.

But set pieces have been a point of concern, and once again they were Leeds’ undoing as they failed to pick up Edouard for Olise’s free-kick.

Since the start of last season, they have conceded 20 goals from set pieces, with only Southampton (21), Everton (23) and Leicester (25) letting in more.

After conceding the equaliser, Leeds rarely looked like scoring again as their struggles on the road continued, and they have now taken just one point in four away games so far this season.

Arsenal 3 – 2 Liverpool

Bukayo Saka’s penalty settled a thrilling encounter and put Arsenal back on top of the Premier League with a victory over Liverpool at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal got off to a perfect start when Gabriel Martinelli put them ahead after 58 seconds. Still, Liverpool responded well and striker Darwin Nunez deservedly got them level when he slid home Luis Diaz’s cross after 34 minutes.

Saka restored Arsenal’s lead in the first half after Martinelli broke clear on the counter-attack only for Liverpool to level eight minutes after the break when substitute Roberto Firmino, on for the injured Diaz, fired beyond keeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Liverpool, who felt they were denied a penalty when defender Gabriel handled in the first half, felt a further sense of injustice when Thiago Alcantara was penalised for a challenge on Gabriel Jesus with 14 minutes remaining, with Saka coolly converting from the spot.

Arsenal hinted at their maturity and progress when they overpowered Tottenham in their last Premier League game but this was the biggest signal yet that they are heading firmly in the right direction under manager Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners started at lightning pace with that Martinelli goal but what will have pleased Arteta, even more, was the manner in which Arsenal responded to Liverpool’s two equalisers, gathering themselves to get back in front and ultimately close out the win.

In the past, Arsenal’s mentality has been fragile but here they showed the strength and resilience to hold their nerve against a Liverpool team that has made a habit of getting the better of them in recent years.

Martinelli was outstanding for Arsenal, tormenting Liverpool’s defence as he scored the first goal and then led the breakaway that saw Saka restore their advantage on the stroke of half-time.

The penalty that decided the game infuriated Liverpool but Saka showed confidence and composure to step forward and drill the resulting spot-kick past Alisson.

And Emirates Stadium now carries a real feeling of unity behind Arsenal and their manager, who has put together an impressive blend of youth and experience that suggests bigger things are to come for this side.

West Ham United 3 – 1 Fulham

Gianluca Scamacca scored for a third successive game as West Ham came from behind to beat Fulham.

Fulham led after six minutes as Andreas Pereira fired in from a tight angle.

But Pereira then fouled Craig Dawson from a corner, Jarrod Bowen scoring the penalty.

Scamacca missed a series of good chances but netted when it counted as he lobbed Bernd Leno before a defensive mix-up presented Michail Antonio with the third.

Fulham took the lead with the first major attack of the game – Kurt Zouma failed to close down Pereira on the left side of the West Ham box, and the Brazilian beat Lukasz Fabianski for power with his shot high into the net from a tight angle.

In an entertaining first half full of chances, Daniel James cracked the crossbar from 20 yards with a dipping left-foot shot, before Scamacca missed a trio of opportunities to draw West Ham level.

The Hammers equalised instead from the penalty spot, with Pereira going from hero to villain as he barged Dawson to the floor from a corner. Bowen slotted the spot kick to Bernd Leno’s right.

Scamacca missed another headed chance from six yards, however, he finally found the net in superb fashion by chipping Leno, with the goal given after a lengthy video assistant referee (VAR) check.

He was replaced by Antonio with 10 minutes to go, and the sub finished the game in comical fashion – after his initial shot was saved by Leno, the German keeper and Tim Ream got in each other’s way trying to clear, inadvertently presenting the striker with an open goal to finish.

Having had to bide his time following his £32m move from Sassuolo in the summer, Scamacca now has six goals in 12 games for West Ham.

After netting against Wolves last weekend and the winner against Anderlecht on Thursday, the Italian was the Hammers’ main man once again.

He could – perhaps should – have scored several more. On 16 minutes he headed down a driven Paqueta cross from eight yards while unmarked which, while Leno brilliantly scooped it out from near his boot, he should have guided further away from the keeper.

Before the 25th minute, Scamacca had missed two more chances, dragging a one-on-one narrowly wide of the far post before sending another header straight at Leno.

Five minutes after the break he missed another free header, this time from only six yards – yet when the toughest chance came, after being put through by Paqueta with a lovely chipped through ball, he kept his nerve to scoop it over the goalie.

Scamacca did not immediately celebrate and was subjected to a VAR check of several minutes, which looked at whether he was offside or had handled the ball. With no clear evidence to disallow for either reason, the goal was given – and the Italian finally celebrated wildly with fans.

It encapsulated Scamacca’s Premier League career so far – a slow start peppered with what-ifs, finally coming good. He is the first West Ham striker to score in his opening two home starts at London Stadium – fans will hope the club’s recent poor run of forwarding signings is at an end.

For West Ham it continues their dominance over Fulham – they have won their last five Premier League games against the Cottagers, while David Moyes has now won 14 of his 15 games against them.

It also means they have won consecutive league matches for the first time since January, further raising hopes a difficult start is behind them.

It was a frustrating afternoon for Marco Silva, who was booked for his remonstrations with the officials after the Scamacca goal was given. Fulham started well but faded after West Ham equalised.

Things could have been very different – Pereira was busy in the opening stages and took his goal brilliantly, his first Premier League strike in two years and 333 days since scoring for Manchester United against Brighton in November 2019.

And had James’ 20-yard dipper on 13 minutes been a few inches lower, the story of the game would surely have been different.

Instead, this game shows how much Fulham miss Aleksandar Mitrovic when the Serbian bruiser is unavailable. He was absent for this game after aggravating a foot injury last week against Newcastle, and replacement Carlos Vinicius was unremarkable.

Silva also has problems to solve at the other end of the pitch. Fulham has kept just one clean sheet in the past 22 top-flight away meetings, conceding 52 goals.

Comedy mix-ups such as the one between Leno and Ream for West Ham’s third aside, Fulham were picked apart regularly and had Scamacca had his sights aligned all game, they could have conceded several more.

The music executive added that because the Mmalakyt founder wanted to date Drake and she could not get him, she had no choice but to settle for Drake.

All Mihlali wanted was Drake and all Drake wanted was Uncle Waffles…Now she’s a tender mistress and aspiring stepmother, she should’ve asked the twins for DJ lessons!”

Everton 1 – 2 Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 700th club goal as Manchester United came from behind at Goodison Park to end Everton’s two-game winning run.

It has been a frustrating season so far for Ronaldo, who has been reduced to the role of substitute after failing to get his hoped-for summer move away from Old Trafford.

But introduced as a first-half substitute after Anthony Martial suffered another injury just three games into his comeback from the last one, Ronaldo raced on to Casemiro’s through ball and beat Jordan Pickford with a low drive to the England man’s near-post.

It was the 37-year-old’s first goal on this ground since 2005 and was enough for United, who kept Everton at arm’s length after Alex Iwobi capitalised on Casemiro’s early mistake to put the hosts in front.

Antony became the first United player to score in his first three Premier League games when he levelled after being sent through by Martial.

The evening would have been more comfortable for the visitors had Marcus Rashford not had a goal disallowed for handball eight minutes from time and it took an acrobatic clearance from David de Gea to deny Amadou Onana and preserve their victory.

If Ronaldo grabbed the headlines with a return to goalscoring that was well received by the visiting supporters, it was also a mixed night for one of his former Real Madrid team-mates who has joined him at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag has committed £70m to buy Casemiro, on a large contract his club will still be tied to when the Brazilian is 35.

Given his price tag and experience, the midfielder’s absence from last weekend’s hammering at Manchester City was a surprise. Under the circumstances, handing him his first league start was a fairly straightforward decision for Ten Hag.

Yet, even at 30, with so many honours to his name, Casemiro evidently still has some learning to do. In Spain, he might have got a free-kick when he was barged off the ball by Onana, leading to Everton’s opener. Tonight, referee David Coote waved the game on.

Casemiro didn’t let the setback affect him.

He should have scored when he ran unmarked onto Rashford’s cross, slapping the turf in frustration as his header bounced wide. But he made amends with the through ball that sent Ronaldo running towards the Everton goal for his landmark effort.

Casemiro continued to contribute in an unfussy way, taking the ball in tight spaces and laying off close-range passes.

However, he was hustled out of possession more often than Ten Hag would have liked and by the end, the United boss had introduced Scott McTominay and Raphael Varane for additional defensive solidity to see the game out.

It was a disappointing evening for the hosts, who had the chance to win three games in a row for the first time since Carlo Ancelotti’s spell at the club, in addition to jumping above both United and Merseyside rivals Liverpool.

They couldn’t have had a better start either. Iwobi’s goal was a wonderful curling effort from 25 yards and owed much to the tenacity of Onana.

But Frank Lampard’s side were starved of possession for long periods and when they did get the ball, far too many misplaced passes cost them momentum.

A Demarai Gray free-kick in a promising position that floated all the way over the penalty area and out for a goal-kick summed up their evening, and Anthony Gordon’s booking for a tackle from behind on Bruno Fernandes means he will be suspended for Saturday’s trip to Tottenham.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s return should at least provide another attacking focal point, although after his second long absence in 12 months he will need to be carefully managed.
