Seven Zimbabweans feared dead in Musina accident. Seven people including a two-year-old toddler, with some of them, believed to be Zimbabweans perished on Sunday evening when the vehicle they were travelling in rammed into a haulage truck trailer in the area between Musina and Beitbridge Border Post along the N1 highway.

Limpopo police confirmed the news this morning and said they were investigating a case of culpable homicide after a Musina bound Toyota Fortuner rammed into a haulage truck that was travelling towards the border.

South Africa Police Services provincial spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo confirmed the incident adding that they were yet to identify the deceased.

“The Police in Musina have registered a case of culpable homicide after seven people lost their lives when a Toyota Fortuner smashed into the side of a truck on the N1 road between Musina and Beitbridge at around 2130 hours on Sunday night,” he said.

“The truck had reportedly just moved from the Petros Truck Stop which is located next to the road, turning onto the N1 road towards Beitbridge when the Fortuner, coming from the northerly direction towards Musina, rammed into its trailer.

Emergency personnel had to remove the deceased from the wreckage of their vehicle that was trapped under the truck. All the deceased, a baby boy aged about two years, three women and three men, were in the Fortuner. The truck driver was alone and did not sustain any injuries”.

Brigadier Mojapelo added. “The process of identifying the deceased has already begun as they are unknown at this stage. Police investigations into the circumstance of this incident are unfolding”.

The N1 road has become a black spot with 60 people including Zimbabweans and Malawians having died in accidents in the last 24 months.

How many rounds will satisfy a real lady?

How many rounds will satisfy a real lady? The best answer to this question can come from discussing it with your partner and observing her during intercourse. No two women are likely to experience the same bliss of satisfaction ever and every woman has a different level of sensitivity to certain s.e.xual stimulus.

I truly believe that as a female who is well matured and knows her worth in this day and age, settling for crappy s.e.x should be a crime in your books, but as a woman, you first must know what is the best s.e.x for you and what needs to be done in order for you to be satisfied and then the most important thing is “COMMUNICATION”. You have to be able to teach your man if he’s not doing it right because he might have picked up some skills along the years which he thinks makes his d!ck game the best, forgetting that each and every woman is different.

Generally, I can tell you this though: women need to feel valued, safe and have some sort of connection with you for them to fully enjoy the s.e.x, and I cannot stress how much being spontaneous helps, like once in a while just start her early – send a few text messages during the day telling her what you want to do to her and how much you enjoy it, make her feel like you’re looking forward to HER or have s.e.x in a different place other than the bedroom and one thing I always say is men need to be kind, polite, considerate and really enjoy the foreplay before rushing into putting a condom on and busting a nut.

If I know you’re “into me” s.e.xually, that’s half the battle………then I’m into you too – and it all works together from there. However, some women gave their view of this question.

Hear them out:

Grace, 35′

We are all different. Some women are multi-org@smic and can cum in multiple ways. Some of us can have multiple cummings each time we have it, while others can’t.

Vanessa, 29′

It is easier to bring a man to s.e.xual satisfaction than it is for a woman. Women tend to enjoy the build-up, the anticipation and the foreplay just as much as the climax.

Mojisola, 28′

The most important thing is communication. You have to be able to teach your man if he is not doing it right. He might have picked some skills along the years, which he thinks makes him superstar, forgetting that, each and every woman’s body system is different.

Janet, ’33

Guys like having it for between 15 and 30 minutes, two and three rounds a day and five to six times a week. Meanwhile, most women enjoy a single instance or two rounds with a lot of foreplay involved and would be happy, having it three to four times a week, if it is actually satisfying.

Huawei P40 should make Samsung Galaxy S20 nervous: Here is why

$

Huawei P40 should make Samsung Galaxy S20 nervous: Here is why. The Huawei P40 will be the first major competitor for Samsung’s Galaxy S20. Even in its basic form, the S20 has some great cameras. The rear triple array, along with the single front sensor, have taken many quality photos during our tests of the phone since its recent reveal. We were expecting the next Huawei P-series phone to appear at the end of March, but we’ve already got a look at it in a disguised form.

Digital Trends managed to get a sneak preview of the Huawei P40, along with some pictures of the handset that will succeed the P30 and P30 Pro. Except if you read the text on the phone, you will see that technically this isn’t a Huawei phone but a “Polarie” one, with lenses by “Blink” rather than Leica, Huawei’s long-standing photography partner. This is actually the basic P40, rather than the P40 Pro, so what you’re seeing will likely rival the Galaxy S20. The P40 Pro will likely fit somewhere between the S20 Plus and S20 Ultra depending on the exact specs Huawei decides to give its new device.

As we can see on the back of the phone, nestled in a handsome reflective blue body and arranged in a vertical stack in the phone’s top left corner, are three main camera lenses and a smaller sensor off to the side. It’s not a stretch to believe that these will be main, telephoto and ultra-wide cameras, along with a time-of-flight sensor to help judge depth for applying image effects like bokeh.

The rumored megapixels for these three cameras are 52MP, 40MP and 8MP for the telephoto sensor. That last one’s quite a bit smaller than the 64MP sensor the S20 uses, but that won’t be a problem if Huawei has given it better optical zoom magnification, making a larger sensor less necessary for taking good zoom pictures. Like the P30, this P40 prototype features a curved back, but it looks to have more rounded corners for additional comfort when holding the phone or carrying it in a pocket. There’s the ubiquitous USB-C port at the bottom, but sadly the headphone jack, present on the standard P30, has now disappeared.

While we don’t see the display in any of the photos, we’re told that the screen is curved, as it was on the P30 Pro, but not too dramatically, unlike the “Horizon” display Huawei uses on its Mate 30 Pro. This means the P40 will looks less striking, but hopefully be a bit easier to use. This preview model is also thicker than the P30, so hopefully, that means more internal upgrades like the new Kirin 990 5G-compatible CPU, a larger battery, and more besides.

There’s a chance some of the aspects of this design will change before the March 26 launch event that Huawei has planned for the P40. We’re expecting at least the P40 and P40 Pro to be shown off here, but there’s also rumours of a P40 Pro Premium Edition, likely the model that will square off against the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Huawei also has a habit of releasing a “Lite” version of its P-series phones, although we might be waiting a few months before that appears.

But there are two big issues with the P40. Firstly, it’s not available yet. Secondly, unless Huawei and the US government bury the hatchet in the very near future, the P40 series will launch without Google apps, which will make it a tough sell to many users. Therefore, if you want a great Android phone with the apps you expect, plus a fantastic display, great cameras and good battery life in a compact frame, the Samsung Galaxy S20 is still an excellent phone.

The Last Kingdom Season 4 is around the corner

As we continue to suffer through the long wait between seasons, the stars of Netflix’s The Last Kingdom are here to keep us company. From revealing new looks to quietly teasing when we expect to see them back in actor, they’re all over the place. Let’s check in with a few as we inch toward season 4.

First up, Eliza Butterworth (Aelswith) comes at us straight from the set, poking a little fun at her character and teasing that season 4 may becoming “very soooooon” with the world’s longest hashtag:

Eliza Butterworth

I wonder if #idontknowtheexactdateoftheseason4releasebutitiscomingverysoooooon will start trending on Instagram? Probably not, but it gives us hope.

Next up, Adrian Bouchet (Steapa) pokes fun at his tradition of posting an image of himself every Saturday.

This is some meta-tweeting right here.

https://www.spreaker.com/user/fansided/20200226-ttb-live-audio?utm_medium=widget&utm_source=user%3A10552325&utm_term=episode_title

Leaving the jokes behind, Bouchet is once again looking rather fearsome, pictured here in the Winchester throne room:

Offset, Magnus Bruun (Cnut) and Tobias Santelmann (Ragnar) reunited for a soccer game in Copenhagen. Cnut might have led Ragnar to his death just to steal Brida (Emily Cox) away, but clearly there are no hard feelings:

Speaking of Cox, she recently posted a new headshot reel. Hopefully, that doesn’t mean she’s looking for work because of something that happened to Brida!

Elsewhere, Mark Rowley (Finan) shows his support for TLK fans by sporting a Team Uhted hoodie:

Meanwhile, fellow Team Uhtred member Arnas Fedaravicius (Sihtric) boasts about his acrobatic skills.

And finally, James Northcote (Aldhelm), who recently sat down with us for a chat, strikes a pose on the Brooklyn Bridge:

Hopefully, season 4 is indeed on the horizon. If not, at least we have that hashtag to keep us company. Destiny is all!

Here is why fuel has gone down in the country

Here is why fuel has gone down in the country. The government through the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has explained why the price of fuel has gone down in the country. Motorists queue to buy petrol in Harare, Zimbabwe REUTERS/Philimon Bulawayo

ZERA announced new fuel prices last Friday in which the new price of diesel went down by ZWL$2.27 from ZWL$19.55 per litre to ZWL17.28 per litre. ZERA announced that the reduction in the price of diesel was a result of a decrease in the price of diesel on the global market.

The regulator said that it is now working with local oil companies to ensure that the country has an adequate supply of fuel. Zimbabwe has been plagued by a shortage of fuel for the better part of the last two years.

ZERA also revealed that it was stepping up its surveillance efforts to ensure that people do not hoard fuel. Unsurprisingly, the government ends the statement by reiterating that people should “use fuel efficiently”. Below is the statement from ZERA, which iHarare is publishing in its entirety.

PRESS STATEMENT
Diesel supply

In view of the significant decrease of the diesel price on the international market, the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) met the oil marketing companies (OMCs) on 29 February 2020 and deliberated on the impact of the decrease on the local market.

The OMCs made a commitment to continue supplying diesel to consumers at the new price. Zimbabwe is a net fuel importer, hence any movement on the global market has an effect on the local price.

ZERA is working closely with OMCs to ensure the country has an adequate supply.  Surveillance on possible hoarding of fuel is being carried. The public is urged to continue using fuel efficiently.

Terms and conditions for selling fuel in foreign currency in Zimbabwe. This comes after the government introduced the direct fuel imports programme which allows oil companies with their own sources of foreign currency, to import and sell fuel in foreign currency.

The government has published the requirements necessary for oil companies to meet so that they may be allowed to sell fuel in foreign currency. This comes as the government tries to ameliorate the debilitating shortage of fuel which has been plaguing the nation for the past few years.

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority ZERA has announced that petroleum companies should submit the proposed sites where they will be selling the fuel. However, the companies will only be limited to two service stations which trade in foreign currency in both Harare and Bulawayo. In all other towns, an oil company will only be allowed to have a single site trading in foreign currency.

Below is the notice from ZERA to all oil companies in the country,

PUBLIC NOTICE

All Fuel Sector Companies

SELECTION OF SITES FOR DIRECT FUEL IMPORTS (DFI) AND TRADING IN FOREIGN CURRENCY

Petroleum companies are requested to submit proposed sites to sell fuel in foreign currency procured through free funds based on the following criteria: –

1. A maximum of two (2) sites in Harare and Bulawayo per petroleum company: and

2. A maximum of one site in all the other towns and cities.

Please note that selected sites will be expected to do 100% direct fuel imports (DFI). For companies that do not hold procurement licences, the submissions should include the name of the supplier of the fuel to be traded in foreign currency.

Petroleum companies are advised to make submissions before the end of day on Tuesday, 3 March 2020.

Prince Kaybee reacts to video of DJ Maphorisa falling on stage – You are becoming Weak

Prince Kaybee has joined the chorus of chuckles after his rival DJ Maphorisa took a tumble while performing over the weekend. The Scorpion King bailed over a barricade at FNB Stadium while performing at the Soweto Derby.

In a video of the incident, which has been doing the rounds on social media, Maphorisa can be seen trying to jump over the barrier but fails to land safely and falls on his behind.

But being the pro that he is, Phori immediately stood up and continued performing.

Though many admired his tenacity to “keep the balling rolling”, others, like Prince Kaybee took jabs at him.

Kaybee shared the video and told his rival not to be weak.

Last week, Maphorisa left the socials in a frenzy after he alleged that Prince Kaybee, Lady Zamar and Mafikizolo did not own their masters.

Kaybee didn’t take kindly to Phori’s comments and hit back at him with a list of businesses that he owned. He also suggested that Maphorisa could’ve made his point without dropping any names.

Kaybee told TshisaLIVE he held no grudge against Maphorisa, but someone forgot to tell that to his Twitter fingers.

Here are some of the other reactions to Maphorisa’s fall.

Health experts puzzled by only 3 cases of Coronavirus in Africa with no deaths

Health experts puzzled by only 3 cases of Coronavirus in Africa with no deaths. To date, only three cases of infection have been officially recorded in Africa, one in Egypt, one in Algeria and one in Nigeria, with no deaths. Whether it’s a matter of faulty detection, climatic factors or simple fluke, the remarkably low rate of coronavirus infection in African countries, with their fragile health systems, continues to puzzle – and worry – experts.

This is a remarkably small number for a continent with nearly 1.3 billion inhabitants, and barely a drop in the ocean of more than 86,000 cases and nearly 3,000 deaths recorded in some 60 countries worldwide.

Shortly after the virus appeared, specialists warned of the risks of its spreading in Africa, because of the continent’s close commercial links with Beijing and the fragility of its medical services.

“Our biggest concern continues to be the potential for Covid-19 to spread in countries with weaker health systems,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the head of the World Health Organization, told African Union health ministers gathered in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa on February 22.

In a study published in The Lancet medical journal on the preparedness and vulnerability of African countries against the importation of Covid-19, an international team of scientists identified Algeria, Egypt and South Africa as the most likely to import new coronavirus cases into Africa, though they also have the best-prepared health systems in the continent and are the least vulnerable.

‘Nobody knows’

As to why the epidemic is not more widespread in the continent, “nobody knows”, said Professor Thumbi Ndung’u, from the African Institute for Health Research in Durban, South Africa. “Perhaps there is simply not that much travel between Africa and China.”

But Ethiopian Airlines, the largest African airline, never suspended its flights to China since the epidemic began, and China Southern on Wednesday resumed its flights to Kenya. And, of course, people carrying coronavirus could enter the country from any of the other 60-odd countries with known cases.

Favourable climate factors have also been raised as a possibility. “Perhaps the virus doesn’t spread in the African ecosystem, we don’t know,” said Professor Yazdan Yazdanpanah, head of the infectious diseases department at Bichat hospital in Paris.

This hypothesis was rejected by Professor Rodney Adam, who heads the infection control task force at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. “There is no current evidence to indicate that climate affects the transmission,” he said. “While it is true that for certain infections there may be genetic differences in susceptibility…there is no current evidence to that effect for Covid-19.”

Nigeria well-equipped

The study in The Lancet found that Nigeria, a country at moderate risk of contamination, is also one of the best-equipped in the continent to handle such an epidemic.

But the scientists had not anticipated that the first case recorded in sub-Saharan Africa would be an Italian working in the country.

Little more than a week ago, “our model was based on an epidemic concentrated in China, but since then the situation has completely changed, and the virus can now come from anywhere,” Mathias Altmann, an epidemiologist at the University of Bordeaux and one of the co-authors of the report, told FRANCE 24 on Friday. The short shelf-life of studies testify to the speed of the epidemic’s spread.

The Italian who tested positive for the coronavirus in Lagos had arrived from Milan on February 24 but had no symptoms when his plane landed. He was quarantined four days later at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba. Several people from the company where he works have been contacted and officials are trying to trace other people with whom he might have had contact.

For Altmann, an expert in infectious diseases in developing countries, the fact that coronavirus appears to have entered sub-Saharan Africa through Nigeria is “actually good news”, because the country appears to be relatively well prepared for confronting the situation.

In a continent that “has had its share of epidemics and whose countries, therefore, have a huge knowledge of the field and real competence to react to this kind of situation”, Nigeria is in a very good position to confront the arrival of Covid-19, Altmann said.

“The CDC [Center for Disease Control] responsible for the entire region of West and Central Africa is located in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, which means that their organisational standard in health matters is very high,” he added.

The country was already renowned for “succeeding to pretty quickly contain the Ebola epidemic in 2014,” Altmann points out. It took the Nigerian authorities only three months to eradicate Ebola in the country. The World Health Organization and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control at the time congratulated Nigeria for its reactivity and “world-class epidemiological detective work”.

But despite Nigeria’s strengths, the coronavirus pathogen represents a particular challenge, in that it is hard to detect. The virus may be present in an individual who has few or no symptoms, allowing it to spread quietly in a country where, like everywhere in Africa, there is “a shortage of equipment compared to Western countries, especially in diagnostic tools”, Altmann said.

Neighbouring countries like Chad or Niger have “less functional capacity to handle an epidemic,” Altmann said. But they also have an advantage: these are agricultural regions where people are outdoors more, “and viruses like this one prefer closed spaces and are less likely to spread in a rural setting,” he added.

RBZ not printing any Zimdollars

$

RBZ not printing any Zimdollars. This comes as the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has been accused of printing more money to pay for gold purchases- a move that would threaten the country’s chances of getting assistance from lenders such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The government said yesterday that the country was not printing money unduly and would stick to its targets aimed at stabilising the Zimbabwe dollar, to reduce prices.

It also comes after the IMF painted a grim picture of Zimbabwe’s economic prospects last week. Yesterday, RBZ governor John Mangudya said accusations that the government was secretly printing money to fund State activities were untrue.

“The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe would like to highlight that as it reported in its monetary policy statement of 17 February 2020, the growth in the money supply- or more specifically reserve money- in 2019 ways as a result of subsidies on fuel, electricity, grain and government expenditure.

“The contribution of the gold sector incentive scheme was very minimal to the growth of reserve money and cannot be viewed as ‘secret money printing’. “There is no secrecy in the payment of the gold incentive scheme by the government through the Bank,” Mangudya said in response to an article by the respected Financial Times of London last week.

“In order to ensure the continued flow of gold through the formal channels and thus mitigating against side-marketing of gold, government- through the central bank- provides incentives to the gold sector to increase foreign exchange through the interbank foreign exchange system. “The gold incentive scheme is being funded through the Budget.

“In our view, the decline of the value of the local currency was largely due to various factors that include low business and consumer confidence, low production levels within the economy and the impact of macro-economic shocks such as the drought and Cyclone Idai.

“The depreciation of the local currency is, therefore, mainly exacerbated by these factors, especially given that there is also a shortage of Zimbabwe dollar liquidity on the local market,” Mangudya said further. In an update on Zimbabwe’s economy that was released last Wednesday, the IMF said bluntly that worse days lay ahead for the country, largely because of the government’s hesitant implementation of much-needed reforms.

“Executive Directors (of the IMF) noted with concern that Zimbabwe is facing an economic and humanitarian crisis, exacerbated by policy missteps and climate-related shocks.  “These would require difficult policy choices from the authorities and support from the international community.

“Directors urged the authorities to make a concerted effort to ensure economic and social stability through the adoption of co-ordinated fiscal, monetary and foreign exchange policies, alongside with efforts to address food insecurity and serious governance challenges,” the IMF said without mincing its words.

Subsidised roller meal price to go up again

$

Subsidised roller meal price to go up again. The imminent increase in the price of mealie-meal comes at a time when there is a serious shortage of the product, amid promises that more grain is headed for Bulawayo. Government is set to increase the price of subsidised roller meal following last week’s review of the maize producer price from $4 000 to $6 958 per tonne.

This will be the second increase in the price of the subsidised mealie-meal after Government reviewed the price of a 10kg bag to $70 from $50 last month. The subsidised roller meal shortages have seen unscrupulous individuals hoarding stocks that they are selling on the black market at exorbitant prices.

Super refined mealie-meal that was selling for $150 last week has since increased to $180. Yesterday, most Bulawayo’s major retail shops did not have subsidised mealie-meal.

Reporters observed that subsidised mealie-meal was being sold on the black market for up to $100 in cash and any other payment methods were not being accepted. In an interview, Industry and Commerce Deputy Minister Raj Modi said the mealie-meal shortage was just temporary as Government would soon announce a new price.

“The problem with the millers is that they are working on the new price. They have the mealie-meal; they should be announcing the new prices to retailers. I think that is what has caused the shortage, the mealie-meal is there but what is left is for is the new price. Up to last week, it was going on very well. There was a lot of mealie-meal around up until the last two days because of the new GMB prices,” he said.

Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe media and public relations manager Mr Garikai Chaunza said millers will meet on Thursday over the new prices. “After the Thursday’s meeting, we will issue a statement,” said Mr Chaunza.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ministry yesterday said more grain is headed to Zimbabwe as the country seeks to address the drought situation. In a statement posted on its Twitter account, the Ministry said so far 153 trucks have been dispatched with grain from Beira to Harare, leaving a balance of 179 trucks.

“Reports from Ambassador (Douglas) Nyikayaramba in Maputo indicate that more drought relief grain is bound for Zimbabwe from STEMA in Maputo with 259 wagons dispatched to Bulawayo to date. A balance of 143 wagons is outstanding to clear this whole consignment,” said the report.

Although GMB officials were not immediately available for comment, sources at GMB depot in Bulawayo yesterday said their silos in Tshabalala now had more than 10 000 tonnes of maize to last nearly two months.

“The stocks increased since last month. We are receiving maize from South Africa, Zambia and Mozambique. I can safely say we have more than 10 000 tonnes of maize in our silos which can last nearly two months. We have the grain but I guess the supply issue would be addressed by GMAZ. If there is a story to be told I guess it would come from the millers,” said the source.

The news crew also visited the Silo Industries depot in Belmont but officials there declined to comment on the mealie-meal issue, saying they were not cleared to speak to the Press. However, staff members who spoke on condition of anonymity said the Silo shop stopped selling subsidised mealie-meal last month but they were now supplying retail shops in the city. In different interviews, residents said it was difficult to get subsidised roller meal.

“As it stands, some of us hardly get the subsidised mealie-meal. If you are working or committed every day will you get the time to spend in a queue? But we also want to buy the subsidised mealie-meal because the super-refined one is too expensive. I think police should just arrest anyone found selling mealie-meal on the streets. Before Government introduced the mealie-meal subsidy we did not have anyone selling it,” Mr Simon Mwinde from New Lobengula.

Another resident Mr Innocent Mabhena from Emganwini suburb concurred, saying there are too many greedy individuals out to make a killing at the expense of desperate citizens.

“Right now, if you go to the market place there is roller meal everywhere. How is it getting there? We are forced to buy it because we have families to feed. “But as solution Government should just flood the market with the roller meal so that it does not become profitable for anyone to sell it in the streets,” said Mr Mabhena.

Speaking at a press conference in Harare last week, the former Zanu PF Mashonaland West chairperson, said Chihuri was sent several times by Paul Westwood, the former owner of a Karoi farm that Mliswa occupied at the height of the controversial government-backed land reform programme to arrest him.

“One of the worst times of my life was being accused by Chihuri of corruption. He was then working with Paul Westwood and I was arrested over 70 times. Temba Mliswa described as “emotional” the difficult time he went through when former police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri sent his subordinates to arrest him 70 times on false charges.

“It is one of the saddest moments of my life, sometimes I cry but God…It was one of the most emotional moments of my life. “One day I will talk about it, it is my most emotional part that people asked me why I was still in Zanu PF. I was arrested more times in Zanu PF than outside Zanu PF. When I left Zanu PF, I was never arrested,” the outspoken politician said.

“Chihuri was the toughest police officer then, he had officers and magistrates to ensure that if I intended to corrupt anyone I will not. He instilled fear in them.

“My arrest of having stolen cattle is well known and the whites came to the courts and said Temba paid for the cows, that was just persecution by Chihuri. “I was said to have beaten (Sarah) Mahoka, arrested and was acquitted. I was arrested that I had AK47s (rifles) at my farm, but again, I was acquitted,” Mliswa added.

Mliswa accused Chihuri who was police boss until late former President Robert Mugabe was toppled in 2017 of being bribed by Westwood to make sure he visits the courts several times for false allegations.

“I used to be moved from one police station to the other, one court to the other, in the middle of the night I would be shackled and the next thing I am taken to Marimba. “It is the most emotional part of my life which I have never told anyone because of this white man who bribed Chihuri so they could get cars from that company.”

In June 2011 Mliswa was acquitted on charges of trying to forcibly wrestle Noshio Investments, a million-dollar vehicle accessories company owned by Westwood. In an exclusive interview with Nehanda Radio, Westwood alleged that Mliswa bribed the presiding magistrate Never Katiyo who suddenly acquired a US$12 000 car while on a US$200 a month salary.

He also alleged then Presidential Affairs Minister Didymus Mutasa played a key role in the acquittal of Mliswa and his co-accused Hammarskjold Banda, Brendaly Banda, Alfred Mwatiwamba, George Marere and Martin Mutasa (Mutasa’s son).

Mliswa was expelled in 2015 from the ruling party on various charges, including undermining the party and its leadership. Chihuri is reportedly in self-imposed exile in Malawi where he was accused of rigging its recent harmonised election. He was replaced by Godwin Matanga.

Fans are loving this new AKA, who can laugh at situations and join in the fun – especially after his crowd-surfing fail over the weekend.

Although he’s known for spicy rants and tons of beefs, Supa Mega surprised many after he laughed off his initial failed attempt at crowd surfing during a performance in Rustenburg.

A video of the awkward moment began doing the rounds on Twitter over the weekend and had people thinking about AKA’s decision to crowd surf in the first place.

Taking to Twitter, AKA replied to a tweep who shared the video, by simply saying, “Sh*t happens”, while laughing at himself.

After another fan stated that if he were AKA he’d never jump into any crowd again, claiming that the Rustenberg crowd had failed Supa Mega.

The rapper went on to explain that he gave the crowd a second try to catch him and they did.

“To be fair, I got back on stage and did it again. This time they caught me and everyone was happy and stuff.”

With fans seeing how hectic his fall was, they advised AKA not to try crowd surfing again – but everyone knows the Mega is all about taking risks.

Proving this sentiment right, AKA was clear: “I will definitely do it again.”

After attempting to crowd surf for the second time, AKA told one tweep that he would’ve left immediately if his fans didn’t catch him and let him fall again.

Although the crowd from “Rusty Dusty” failed to catch him the first time around, AKA expressed that he’d still go back and there perform. “Of course! It was a big vibe.”

More university lecturers boycott classes over poor salaries

More university lecturers boycott classes over poor salaries. Last last week, lecturers at NUST in Bulawayo also stopped conducting lectures while ZOU lecturers are also reported to have informed university authorities about their incapacitation to come to work.

Midlands State University (MSU) lecturers have joined the National University of Science, Technology (NUST) and Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) in downing tools citing incapacitation.

In a letter dated February 28, MSU lecturers informed the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Victor Muzvidziwa, of their decision to suspend lectures due to incapacitation. “We write to advise that we had a joint General Assembly meeting for both teaching and non-teaching staff today (Friday) in the Great Hall at the main campus.

“Members made and adopted the following resolution: That all employees at Midlands State University are incapacitated to come to work with immediate effect. The lecturers resolved to come back to work once their welfare was looked at.

They demanded their salaries to be merged with other regional university lecturers. “All members will be waiting for the employer to capacitate them so that they report for work. “That all heads of departments should allow subordinates to receive capacitation before coming to report for duty and should not force or victimise them,” the letter reads.

Recently, government increased salaries for members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police and promised to set up subsidised grocery shops in army barracks to cushion restive members of the uniformed forces from the rising cost of living.

Zimbabwe is facing its worst economic crisis in a decade, characterised by a critical shortage of hard currency triggering increases in prices of basic goods, shortages of medicine and fuel. Hopes of economic recovery under President Emmerson Mnangagwa continue to fade amidst a spiralling political and economic crisis that has created biting poverty.

Supreme Court Judge facing removal from office over misconduct

Supreme Court Judge facing removal from office over misconduct. President Mnangagwa appointed the tribunal after lawyer Itai Ndudzo of Mutamangira and Associates alleged that the judge had called him on his phone telling him to settle a civil dispute. Ndudzo was representing the Zimbabwe Road Administration (Zinara) in a case against a company called Fremus Enterprises. Fremus Enterprises is allegedly owned by Justice Bere’s relatives.

Supreme Court judge Justice Francis Bere is facing removal from office after he was accused of unethical conduct by a lawyer. President Emmerson Mnangagwa has since appointed a tribunal to look into the allegations and determine Justice Bere’s fitness to hold office.

According to online publication Zimlive, Part of Ndudzo’s complaint reads. “The learned judge indeed contacted me telephonically. The commercial dispute between my client (Zinara) and Fremus Enterprises Pvt Ltd was discussed in the course of the conversation.

“The learned judge’s relatives are co-directors of Fremus Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd. The learned judge inquired whether or not there would be the possibility of payment being expedited to Fremus (Pvt) Ltd. “I declined the request and the conversation ended abruptly on that note.”

Justice Francis Bere is denying Ndundzo’s account insisting that the call was purely a social one. The two used to sit on the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) ethics committee together.

Nonetheless, President Mnangagwa has appointed a three-member tribunal to look into Justice Bere’s conduct. The tribunal consists of retired judge Simbi Mubako who will be assisted by lawyers Advocate Takawira Nzombe and Rekayi Maphosa to investigate the judge.

Announcing the tribunal, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Misheck Sibanda said. “Please be advised that His Excellency, the President has appointed a Tribunal to inquire into the question of removal from office of Honourable Justice Francis Bere.

“The inquiry is expected to commence soon after the swearing-in of the members and is to be concluded within three months from date of commencement.”

This is the second ethics investigation that Justice Bere is facing. In January last year, a panel of four judges appointed by Chief Justice Luke Malaba looked into Justice Bere’s conduct after Meikles chairman, John Moxon filed a complaint alleging conflict of interest in a case the judge had presided over.

The four-member Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee chaired by Constitutional and Supreme Court judge Rita Makarau cleared Justice Bere of any wrongdoing.

Justice Bere also won international acclaim following his ruling in which a transgender woman won a landmark case in Zimbabwe. He awarded Ricky Nathanson civil damages after she was arrested and humiliated by police in Bulawayo for using a ladies’ toilet in a nightclub.

Chinese visitor to Zim tests negative for Coronavirus at Wilkins Hospital. The announcement of her health status quo was made by the government. A Chinese national who had travelled from Hunan Province of China and was being examined for Coronavirus at Wilkins Hospital in Harare tested negative to the deadly virus.

This follows after another public announcement that the visitor was being quarantined for coronavirus (covid-19) at Wilkins Hospital For Infectious Diseases. The Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services took to Twitter to give an update on her condition to the anxious Zimbabweans.

“Government would like to update the Nation that the traveller from Hunan Province of China who was under observation at Wilkins Hospital, has tested negative to the Coronavirus(Covid-19).”

The Ministry of Health is placing all people arriving from COVID-19 affected countries on a 21-day self-quarantine to ensure that they are not infected with the virus. Those who breach the self-quarantine will be detained at isolation centres or deported from the country.

The several false cases of COVID-19 have been a learning curve. They gave us the opportunity to move to the next level of total preparedness by all Gvt agencies against the spread of the virus.”

Social media was ablaze with reports that the Chinese national was found to be carrying the Coronavirus when she was examined at Robert Mugabe International Airport on Sunday, however, the government declared that is not the case.

The flagged Chinese national was reported to have attempted suicide by taking an overdose of the penicillin antibiotic after a number of attempts to quarantine her.

Fortunately, her attempt at taking her own life was unsuccessful and she had been re-admitted at Wilkins as other health centres feared to take her in with the unspoken notion that she would spread the virus.

Rachel J, wife of ex-Minister Terence Mukupe who was allegedly impregnated by Bushiri speaks out

Rachel J, wife of ex-Minister Terence Mukupe who was allegedly impregnated by Bushiri speaks out. Songstress and musician, Rachel J, has finally broken her silence following sensational allegations made by ‘husband’ Terence Mukupe that she was impregnated by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri. Mukupe who is the former deputy minister of finance and economic planning for Zimbabwe claimed that Bushiri had carried out an adulterous affair with his wife resulting in her becoming pregnant.

While the two men had a go at each other on social media with Bushiri furiously denying the salacious allegations and Mukupe claiming that he has evidence of the affair, Rachel J remained curiously quiet.

However, she had now spoken out over the matter through her family. The family denied the allegations and said that the two were never married but were actually cohabiting. They accused Mukupe of being a bitter former lover who wanted to tarnish Rachel J’s image. They went on to claim that Mukupe was so hurt at being dumped that he attacked Rachel J physically and tried to kill her vowing that if he cannot have her, no other man can. Rachel J is said to have dumped Mukupe because he sired four children with other women during the subsistence of their relationship.

Below is the full statement from Rachel J’s family,

Prophet Bushiri

“We as the Rachel J family, have decided to come out and address the accusations being levelled against her that are being circulated on social media by a Terence Mukupe.

“It has taken us this long because, we wanted our daughter and sister to give birth in peace, and the fact that Rachel J being the private person she is, didn’t want to get involved in this social media fiasco, and also her dealing with the emotional trauma after she was attacked by Terence Mukupe at one of her residence and she had to seek a protection order against Terence Mukupe.

“We want to state that these are malicious and defamatory statements issued. As you know, Terence Mukupe relies on unseemly and ungodly false attacks on others to maintain relevance.

“These allegations are unequivocally false, totally unsubstantiated and uncorroborated, and it’s a malicious and desperate attack on Rachel J and our family by a disgruntled individual who swore before the Police and witnesses that he would do everything in his power even if it meant fabricating material to destroy Rachel J, anyone close to her as well as discrediting her to her business contacts. He swore if he can’t have Rachel J no one else.

“Reason being Rachel J had terminated their relationship. Because she had discovered that Terence Mukupe had once again impregnated Tracy Winterboer, who just gave birth a week ago a few days before Rachel J’s giving birth.

“This being the second child sired with the same woman during Rachel J’s relationship with Terence Mukupe. What’s disturbing is he secretly moved this woman to South Africa near Rachel’s place of residence so that he can be close to her.

“What hurts us is the treatment she is getting from this man who constantly cheated and humiliated her by siring 4 kids whilst in a relationship with Rachel J, whom she embraced looked after and welcomed into her own home. Rachel has shown love and commitment toward his kids by assisting them with education, food and clothes.

“Terence Mukupe should realise that he is a father, he should stop this humiliating behaviour and take care of his 10 kids. For a man blessed with so many kids, he must stay away from public humiliation and realise that his kids will have no one to look up to and also for a man who claims to love his so-called wife but humiliates her in public over infidelity whilst he was sleeping with different women in her office, it is puzzling.

“Terence Mukupe is no stranger to rejecting his unborn babies. He only comes through claiming the paternity after the expenses have been covered. What annoys us is the fact that Terence continues to deny this child in public whilst privately he and his family are requesting to be a part of this child’s life, claiming it’s theirs.”

“On the issue of cultural activity and occultism, it’s really shocking coming from a man, with incisions (nyora) all around his waist, who jumps from sangoma to sangoma every weekend trying to attain evil powers to become a President.

“Do not let us spill your beans. Kindly advise us on where we can deliver your tsvimbo and black and red occult (machira emudzimu) cloths which you left at our daughter’s previous residence.

“Do not deny this as your relatives who stayed with Rachel J have all the knowledge of your occult activities. He became violent after Rachel had cut off all financial support towards him, his children and baby mothers. After having lost Rachel everything including vehicles he became a violent man. No one of any gender, adult or child deserves this kind of abuse. Attacking a defenceless pregnant woman is a sign of weakness and should never be supported in our society.”

Rachel J was never married to Terence Mukupe, formally or customarily. She is a single woman. As a family we have never met Terence Mukupe nor has he ever set foot in any of our houses. He should not confuse dating to marriage. We are grateful for Rachel refusing to marry this man, because of his infidelity and misuse of her wealth.

Initially, we were shocked because Rachel has never dated a politician. She has always believed in love, and not relationships based on money since she is an independent woman.

Because of Rachel’s naivety, she allowed this man to move into her home. Having moved in without anything in his name, she transformed his life into a respectable member of society with something to his name and his family is aware of this. Rachel has always been a serial entrepreneur with vast business interests in the cleaning industry, mining, fashion, media, transport and logistics. She welcomed the idea to work with this man and fought by all means to build a business empire with him.

As a family, we are in deep shock and distress, with the developments that are taking place, considering the amount of resources poured into the life of Terence Mukupe by Rachel J. Just to name a few we are all aware of what went into the last political campaign which she sponsored from the massive billboards, regalia, media, campaign vehicles, sarongs (mazambia) and newspaper. These resources could have been put to better use as a family. Rachel has always protected Terence reputation in making people believe, he was the one taking care of her. Yet he solely relied on and lived off Rachel, funding his 5 baby mother’s, kids and girlfriends.

The claims being levelled at Rachel J, of being impregnated by Prophet Bushiri are unbelievable with his evidence stating that they met in 2018, how is it possible for her to carry a pregnancy for two years. “We are confidently waiting for Terence Mukupe to through for a DNA test. Terence statement that Rachel asked for forgiveness is false.

“The claims that Terence Mukupe ceded R100 000 are totally baffling for a man who doesn’t even have a property to his own name and was failing to pay school fees for his children by that time.

“Whose house was repossessed by the bank. Rachel has been paying rentals for his family to still be able to continue living in that property. He has been failing to clear his debts and the lawyers have been communicating with Rachel who has been helping him to clear those debts.”

“Terence Mukupe should give us evidence of the plane tickets he paid for Rachel to go to Malawi, and also evidence of him expressing interest to do business with Prophet Bushiri whom he has never met. No one stands to gain from publicly humiliating someone, instead, it leaves scars.

“Terence Mukupe should realise that Rachel J is not only a businesswoman but also a mother, and the damage he has caused is irreparable. He has caused great emotional pain to her daughter and this will leave a scar for life. Regardless of the fact that Rachel J has decided to stay in recluse and quiet over this issue, we felt it in our best interest as a family to come out and clear a few issues which were raised.

“This is a truly hurtful time for us because we know the type of a person Rachel is who has done nothing but show love and commitment to this man. Wisdom is understanding that relationships come to an end, and this should be done amicably without abusing the other partner. We should be the ones fighting and humiliating him because he never looked after Rachel instead it was vice versa to a man who showed no love and appreciation.

“We pray that God guides Terence Mukupe in the right path. The more that we choose not to talk about domestic violence, the more we shy away from the issue, the more we lose.”

Many reasons have been given to explain why the celebrity couple split up and many rumours have swirled over the cause of the breakup.

Following massive speculation, Kansiime opened up and set the record straight during a no-holds-barred question and answer session on a live video on her official Facebook page.

“OJ and I are not together anymore.
