Memory card gives away cheating wife as husband stumbles upon nu_de pics

A CHEATING wife was sold out by her phone’s memory card as her husband discovered pictures of her in “action” with other men.

Kudakwashe Mabako discovered the nu_des when he had volunteered to fix his wife Shamiso Sharon Murira’s phone.

One of the pictures shows her holding and licking privates of a boyfriend while others are se_x tapes with different men.

Mabako who has been married to Murira for 12 years

When I noticed that her arrival time from work had changed from 7.30pm to around 11pm I asked about it but she gave me excuses,” he said.

Kudakwashe-Mubako-with-Sharon-and-kidsHe added: “Where she worked they had uniforms but she would put her casual clothes in her handbag. That got me suspicious because she would spend a night without coming home.”

The truth has its way of coming out and Mabako’s suspicions were proven to be true when he attempted to fix her phone.

“I saw nu_des and po_rnographic material where she is the main actor,” he said.

But Murira’s told B-Metro off when asked for her comment.

“Why are you poking your nose into other people’s lives? If you write a story I will sue or uchawona (you will see).

You B-Metro guys are troublesome. Why can’t you concentrate on your relationships and se_xual lives?” she said.

One Reward Neda allegedly threatened to beat up Mabako.

“I always see them together in town and Neda promised to beat me if ever I phone my wife,” said Mabako.

Neda declined to comment but another man who is also in the nude pictures, Harrison Nema, said he had a se_xual relationship with her because she didn’t disclose her marital status.

“She wasn’t open that she was a married woman. That’s why I slept with her. Let me ask, do you sleep with married women if they avail themselves to you? If you do you would be a fool. Her husband failed to se_xually satisfy her. Tell him to keep his wife,” said Nema.

According to Mabako, Murira also started relationships with patients at a Gweru hospital where she worked as a nurse.

One Norman Gwatura did not deny such a liaison.

Harare City Council ‘afraid’ of traditional healer they are afraid to remove him from his shrine

A TRADITIONAL healer known as Mambo has given Harare City Council (HCC) sleepless nights as they are afraid to remove him from a shrine which he erected on council land.

At face value, the place, in Harare’s Kuwadzana 1 township looks like an ordinary car park but upon close scrutiny one will discover that it is actually a “sacred” shrine.

Conveniently placed adjacent a permanent police roadblock, the traditional healer’s wooden cabin that forms part of the shrine is left untouched even by the general public.

Police officers at the roadblock do not blink twice at the shrine while residents in the area use a bus stop just near it.

traditional-healersKuwadzana councillor Wilton Janjazi recently complained during a full council meeting how a single man (the n’anga) has forced the entire city management to gather and meet over the issue.

“Saka munondiudza shuwa kuti n’anga iyi yatotadza kubviswa pairi ipapo nekanzuru? (Are you telling me that the council has failed to evict the traditional healer?) Where is the enforcement in all this?” he quizzed councillors.

The place where the shrine is located, in a make-shift car park is to be used by the city for other purposes.

According to residents in the area, Mambo is known for his claims that the shrine should not be defiled as it is sacred to him.

Residents say the traditional healer has been operating at the site for more than a year without any disturbances from HCC.

Some people claim that he is mentally ill but surprisingly enough, you can see clients going into his structure whether for consultations or to assist him with something,” Tendai Chitagu said.

Another resident Elizabeth Jonga said while the traditional healer has only been at the spot for a while, the shrine is usually busy in the evenings as people are afraid of the stigma attached to consulting traditional healers.

“These people only started working at the car park in recent months but it can be quite busy. Some of the cars you see parked near-by or the clothes that people will be wearing tell you that they are from wealthy backgrounds.

“People have problems and I think this man helps them otherwise they would not come at all,” Jonga said.

While the traditional healer’s assistant only referred to as Dread could not divulge much before consulting with the n’anga, he said his boss has been helping many people.

The dread-locked young man said Mambo gets clients from as far as Malawi because he is an authentic helper.

Dread said Mambo who lives in Tynwald works mostly on referrals as he does not believe in advertising his trade.

The assistant added that for a client to be attended to they have to pay a “consultation fee” of one packet of cigarettes, 1kg of rice and one bottle of opaque beer — saying that Mambo is very specific with the gifts.

He added that the couch upholstery business at the front of the shrine is used as a cover-up for those who do not want to be identified by the public.

Woman sneaks out at Night, leaves hubby and kids sleeping to go bonk lover beacause he has a small ANACONDA

A Bulawayo woman filed a complaint against her live-in boyfriend for allegedly beating her up as punishment for sneaking out of the house at night to her secret nocturnal escapades leaving him and the children sound asleep.

Patience Phiri from Cowdray Park claimed she had been turned into a punching bag by her violent lover Stanford Dube who accuses her of being a prostitute.

She said even when she got a job, the seemingly possessive Dube would lock her inside the house preventing her from going to work apparently suspecting that she would be seeing other men.

Phiri exposed her live-in boyfriend’s abuse at the Bulawayo Civil Court where she sued him for disturbing her peace

Patience-Phiri

The respondent (Stanford Dube) is my live-in boyfriend and is violent. He is always physically abusing me especially when he is drunk. As a result of his abuse I sustained a broken finger and had bruises all over my body. He calls me a prostitute and does not allow me to go to work.

“If I got a job he would make sure that I lose it by locking me inside the house. On 19 July he brutally assaulted me after I had gone next door to look for food and he suspected that I had gone to see another man. I want the court to protect me since I am now living in fear,” said Phiri.

Dube in response said Phiri’s love for night activities was the source of the problems bedevilling their relationship.

“The reason why I ended up assaulting her is that I always remain with the children alone after she would have sneaked out of the house at night. I can say her behaviour of going out at night is the cause of the problems in our relationship,” said Dube.

In his ruling the magistrate Manasa Musiiwa, however, ordered Dube to desist from abusing his lover physically, verbally, or threaten her in any way.

Zimbabwe signed an agreement on Monday with Chinese and Austrian firms to upgrade a busy highway, a deal that will be one of the country’s biggest road projects since independence 36 years ago

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd (CHEC), a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Co Ltd, will partner Austria’s Geiger International to upgrade and add more lanes to the 900 km (558 mile) highway from Beitbridge on the border with South Africa to Chirundu on the Zambian border.

road-constructions-zimbabwe

The highway is economically significant as it links landlocked Zimbabwe and Zambia to the Indian Ocean ports of Durban and Richards Bay in South Africa.

Transport Minister Joram Gumbo said the cost of the project, which the minister had estimated at $2.7 billion in March, was yet to be determined.

CHEC joins several Chinese firms that have been given contracts in Zimbabwe, for projects such as building power stations or revamping water plants, since President Robert Mugabe’s government fell out with Western financiers in 2000.

The road project is split in two phases, with the Chinese-Austrian venture building and getting a 20-year concession to operate part of the road, while the other part will be financed by a loan from an unnamed party and investment from CHEC.

A 39-year-old Harare man who allegedly teamed up with a kombi crew to kidnap and ra-pe a passenger they picked up in town last week has appeared in court

Jealous Kaseke appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Tendai Mahwe charged with ra-pe and kidnapping.

He was remanded in custody to September 2 and was advised to apply for bail at the High Court.

It is alleged that on July 30 this year at around 8:15pm, the complainant (name withheld) was looking for transport at the corner of Chinhoyi Street and Jason Moyo Avenue when a kombi arrived.

The conductor stated that he was going to Warren Park.

It is alleged that one of the accused persons boarded the commuter omnibus together with the complainant and on their way to Warren Park near Zanu-PF Headquarters, the driver who was still at large diverted the route towards Epworth, alleging that he was going for refuelling.

kombi-crew

The court heard that the complainant’s mobile phone rang and when she was about to answer the phone, one of the accused took it away.

It is alleged that the phone rang again and one of the accused persons gave her the phone and ordered her to tell the caller that she was going to Epworth only.

While at Chihota turn off, the complainant was ordered to disembark from the vehicle and seven of the accused persons also disembarked to block her from seeing the commuter omnibus’ registration number.

The commuter omnibus left and six other accused persons left, leaving the complainant with Kaseke, who ordered her to remove her sim card from her mobile phone.

The court heard that Kaseke ordered her to remove her clothes before ra-ping her.

After committing the offence, it is alleged that Kaseke gave the woman $1,30 for transport.

The court heard that on August 17 the woman positively identified Kaseke, leading to his arrest

General Solomon Mujuru’s children wallowing in poverty

CHILDREN of the late General Solomon Mujuru are wallowing in poverty amid revelations that Dr Joice Mujuru, the surviving spouse and leader of Zimbabwe People First, is allegedly frustrating the execution of the national hero’s estate believed to be running into millions of dollars.

Thirteen children are named as beneficiaries of Gen Mujuru’s estate.

Gen Mujuru died in an inferno at his Beatrice farmhouse on August 16, 2011.

Solomon_-MujuruAccording to the Administration of Estate Act Chapter 601 Section 5, the estate should have been registered within 14 days of Gen Mujuru’s death.

Lawyers representing some of Gen Mujuru’s children have since written to the executor of the estate Mr Stanley Mufara, highlighting how their clients were living in abject poverty yet Gen Mujuru was a wealthy businessman with interests cutting across various sectors of the economy.

Reads one of the letters dated July 07, 2016: “We are instructed by our clients to enquire as to the status of the estate. Kindly be advised that our clients are now living as destitute and currently they are in debt because of the life they had been exposed (to) by their father, the deceased.”

The lawyers added that Dr Mujuru was deliberately frustrating the administration of the estate.

“It is apparent that the reluctance and attitude of the surviving spouse (Dr Mujuru) is only meant to frustrate the whole estate administration. We are instructed to enquire as to when really our clients should expect to benefit from their father’s estate,” reads the letter from Mutuso, Taruvinga and Mhiribidi Associates on behalf of the children to Mr Mufara.

The lawyers also wrote to the Master of the High Court yesterday accusing Dr Mujuru of being a major stumbling in the administration of Gen Mujuru’s estate.

“We are instructed by our clients to approach your office. Our clients would want to know whether the estate will come to any finality as it seems there is no progress whatsoever towards finalisation.

“The estate was later registered in 2014 after the late Solomon Mujuru died in 2011. Our clients further ask if there is anything you can do on their situation.

“Communication by the executor show that he is not able to execute his duties because of continued resistance by the surviving spouse,” wrote the lawyers.

They proposed a meeting with the Master of the High Court to pave the way forward.

“Our clients being bonafide beneficiaries have got a legitimate expectation on their father’s estate,” added the lawyers.

Dr Mujuru has been reluctant to ensure administration of the estate and at some point disowned some of Gen Mujuru’s children demanding paternity tests. Gen Mujuru had a vast business empire. He was ranked among the richest Zimbabweans with business interests cutting across almost all sectors of the economy from diamonds to chrome.

Gen Mujuru’s will also disappeared under controversial circumstances.

Dr Mujuru was supposed to have registered the estate in her capacity as the closest person to the deceased, although the law does not bar intended beneficiaries from doing so

Fresh revelations in Magaya saga as 5 women confess

Hours before Prophetic Healing Deliverance (PHD) Ministries founder Walter Magaya was arrested on rape charges last Friday, at least five women confessed that they had been approached by shadowy figures to make up allegations of either being raped or having slept with the popular preacher, a recording of last week’s service reveals.

The dramatic events were also watched live across the world on Magaya’s Yadah TV.

Magaya, is presently out on $2 000 bail after a young Midlands State University student reported to the police that she was raped by the charismatic preacher last year. The student said Magaya raped her at his house in Mt Pleasant.

The student was not part of those who made the confessions.

MagayaDuring the church service last Friday, Magaya expressed love for Zimbabwe as well as President Robert Mugabe, whom he said was appointed by God before calling on the women to make the confessions watched by thousands.

According to Magaya, some politically-connected individuals with political connections have been hatching plans for a long time to nail him using desperate ladies.

“Their plan is to convince all the top offices, which they have done today (Friday before arrest) and they labelled me a rapist,” said Magaya.

The plan, Magaya said, involved roping in all young ladies who appeared close to him to malign him.

“I have called this daughter of mine Precious, she has a confession to make and I want you to forgive her, and also tell your neighbour to forgive her.

“About a month ago, she was proposed to by a man with a name that starts with a V, this man convinced you, and you are in love with him, but on the way, this man convinced you to hurt me in a way, it was not your choice,” said Magaya.

The young lady confessed that indeed that was the plan.

Magaya went on: “A certain man whose name starts with a T, this man promised you $30 000,” said Magaya, asking one of the ladies during the church service prior to his arrest.

“This man was working with three other men then, what did they want from you?’’ asked Magaya.

In response, the young lady said, “When they called me, they wanted me to say that I had slept with you, they promised me $100 000, they were going to take a video of me confessing that I had slept with you”.

One of the ladies named Precious confesses in the church that some of the men threatened her if she did not warm up to their idea to “expose Magaya.”

“…In this church, there is a man called Tindo, he said to me Precious come here and I got into his car and there were other men inside and Tindo produced a gun, he said are you a child of Magaya and all of them started to say bad things about you”.

The lady said the whole plot began on July 6, last month.

In the video, Magaya said his plan to build houses had also angered some top government officials, some of whom also have housing projects that are failing to take off the ground.

“After the unveiling of houses in Bulawayo, there are very, very senior people who were upset with me and they want me arrested,” said Magaya before he was arrested.

Magaya also reveals in a riveting account that he had bought houses for some of his followers and workers but did not proceed to hand them over because he became wary of what people could say in the event he handed them to the church ushers for instance.

During the service, as many as five girls confessed to having been approached by the shadowy Tindo to build a case against the charismatic preacher.

MAGAYA RA-PE SAGA:Prophet Makandiwa made prophecy months before it happened

Following Prophet Magaya’s rape allegations, snippets of a prophecy shared by Makandiwa last year have surfaced on Social media. In the prophecy Makandiwa urges other preachers to pray for them and also shares that he sees a prominent man of God behind bars for ra-pe.

Below is the prophecy that has raised eyebrows with many Zimbabweans believing it was referring to Magaya.

WALTER-MAGAYA-AND-EMMANUEL-MAKANDIWAIn Zimbabwe we have fathers of the land, these are the men of God who have come before us and they not known for the gifts like we are having now, and I have a request unto them. They need to Pray for the young and upcoming men of God.

“They should pray for us because it’s a revival that is coming to the nation. They have to do away with divisions and have to prove that they are fathers by not taking sides ,I’m praying and asking them to pray for us too. Because there is personality that I saw behind bars and nothing could be done to reverse this.

“I’m seeing a person behind steel bars, this is why as men of God, we need to be prayed for. When you pray for the church it’s not just UFIC The body of Christ is not just UFIC, Pray for other churches. The church of Jesus goes beyond this ministry.

If only UFIC goes to heaven its nothing to God, this thing was like a protest, people trying to reverse the sentence, but it will never work. Pray for us as ministers because we need to repent and receive Jesus so that we concentrate with our relationship with God not just the ministry. There is a new law coming up with attention to a woman, because of that law, we need to pray for the man of God.

Because this thing will be an issue of rape, not accusation but real rape! You don’t want a situation where the whole church will come witnessing against a man of God, this can’t be an accusation. So fathers of the land we are asking you to pray for us, this is for the fathers of the land, we are asking you to pray for us. These are not known by their miracles or prophecies, but these have gone before us and have been tried and tested with a clean record.

“They need to pray for us as upcoming pastors and we need to repent as men of God, genuinely give our lives to God. A minister tends to focus on ministry not their relationship with God,  Also you as an individual, pray for this individual, because this will be a sad situation, very sad situation. This is what I see, I don’t see everything as a prophet, , Noo, but I what I see is so much”. Remember the conditions to alter this lets pray and the man of God should repent

Another Massive Demonstration on Friday and no amount of intimidation by State security agents would stop the planned protest march

MAIN opposition MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai has said preparations for Friday’s mega demonstration involving 18 opposition parties were at an advanced stage.

Tsvangirai yesterday also said no amount of intimidation by State security agents would stop the planned protest march to force the Zanu PF government to implement electoral reforms.

Police last week reportedly indicated that they would not sanction the protest march, citing manpower shortages.
The parties are demanding immediate implementation of electoral reforms to level the political playing field ahead of the 2018 elections.

In an exclusive interview with NewsDay at his Highlands, Harare, home ahead of Friday’s crunch demonstration, Tsvangirai reiterated it would be naive for the MDC-T to blindly go into an election without reforms.

He described the planned demonstration as unique in that, for the first time, it would involve all opposition political parties under the banners of National Electoral Reform Agenda (Nera) and Coalition for Democrats (Code).

Morgan-TsvangiraiTsvangirai raised a litany of electoral challenges including problems with the voters’ roll, politicisation of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec), violence and outright rigging, among others.

“We are demonstrating against the entire system. It has nothing to do with individuals. We are saying we have to have full confidence in the election management system and it includes the constitution of Zec itself, the manner in which it is being administered and the manner in which political parties play a part,” Tsvangirai said.

“We all have to be involved and at every stage where we have grievances there must be an avenue to resolve those grievances. We are the only electoral system in the region which is not even complying with basic standards of managing elections.”

He said the only way Zimbabwe could force President Robert Mugabe’s administration to implement the reforms was through sustained protests.

He called on all “progressive citizens” from all walks of life to join in Friday’s demonstration in Harare.

“We are not acting because they will bow to pressure, we are putting pressure and to me that is sufficient. Zimbabweans must begin to break out of fear of the regime. They must begin to express themselves so that the regime has no option, but to listen. We want to participate in the elections, but it’s not feasible to force us to blindly go into an election we know is going to be rigged,” Tsvangirai added.

“Where there are these challenges and obstacles, it is almost naive to go into an electoral process which we know is going to be rigged before you even start.”

He said elections in Zimbabwe had always been rigged, hence there should be mechanisms to stop Zanu PF from further stealing votes.

We have had these disputes ever since I started participating in elections. Worse still, we won the election in 2008 and Mugabe refused to give up power. Unless there is an assurance that the mandate of the people is respected, then we have situations where even the mandate is subverted by other extra-judicial and unconstitutional methods.
“That is why our campaign for electoral reforms is critical for the next election. That is why all opposition parties agree under Nera to come, express and demonstrate that there has to be reform before we go into the next election. It’s timely because there is still time to correct all the unconstitutional processes that are being put in place,” he said.

Tsvangirai said they would assign their legislators to even push Parliament to act on the electoral reforms.

“In fact, we are going to move that Parliament must be asked to give us a roadmap for the next election. We need a benchmark that by this time we would have completed this process and that process. We want to see clear benchmarks and we are going to demonstrate so that these issues are addressed,” he said.

This came as all 18 Nera and Code leaders met in the city to finalise preparations for the protest march and lay the groundwork for their planned grand coalition where they were plotting to field one presidential candidate to challenge Mugabe, come 2018.

Nera convenor and former Intelligence minister Didymus Mutasa said all party leaders had agreed to take to the streets in solidarity with their supporters.

“We deliberated on the purpose of our mega demonstration on Friday. We agreed we will invite all interested parties, people and civil society organisations in Zimbabwe to take part in the demonstration,” Mutasa said.

“We seek, among other things, that Zec should be independent and not continue to be under the Ministry of Justice. We are also calling on the government to make sure that Zec chairperson [Justice] Rita Makarau should not hold two substantive positions and we hope that she will relinquish one of the positions without being coerced.”

Besides heading Zec, Justice Makarau is also secretary of the Judicial Service Commission and a Constitutional Court judge.

Mutasa also said the parties would reconvene to map the way forward after Friday’s demonstration looking at ways they could work together as they approach the 2018 polls.

The meeting was attended by Zimbabwe People First leader Joice Mujuru, PDP’s Tendai Biti, MDC’s Welshman Ncube, Elton Mangoma (Renewal Democrats of Zimbabwe), Simba Makoni (Mavambo/Kusile/Dawn) and Morgen Komichi (MDC-T vice-chairman), among others.

Bond notes not done deal: Govt

$

The government has suggested that it may still be a while before it introduces the much-distrusted bond notes on the market — which are meant to mitigate Zimbabwe’s severe cash shortages — with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) revealing in court on Friday that the notes are only at a “planning stage

In its opposing papers to legal action against the bond notes that has been filed at the Constitutional Court by former vice president and now Zimbabwe People First (ZPF) leader, Joice Mujuru, the central bank said it also still needed to meet statutory requirements to back the use of the notes, whose introduction is targeted for October this year.

In her application seeking the declaration of the introduction of the bond notes as unconstitutional — which was filed through Hamunakwadi and Nyandoro Law Chambers — Mujuru cited President Robert Mugabe, Finance minister Patrick Chinamasa, the RBZ and its governor John Mangudya, and attorney general Prince Machaya as respondents.

But responding to the lawsuit, Mangudya described Mujuru’s court application as both “premature and ill-founded”, adding, “Indeed bond notes, outside of a policy announced by Fourth respondent (RBZ), are still at planning stage …”.

“At no point has the (Reserve Bank) stated that bond notes are bank notes or indeed currency as defined in our laws, in particular the (Reserve) Act and the Bank Use Promotion Act (chapter 24:24).

“The entirety of applicant’s (Mujuru) action is premised on bond notes constituting bank notes and, or currency when in fact there is absolutely no basis for reaching this conclusion,” Mangudya added.

However, Mujuru still argued that bond notes were not provided for under the RBZ Act, adding that despite them being said to have the same value as the United States dollar, they were bound to depreciate in value.

“Further, a bond note cannot be the equivalent of any of the foreign currencies it will operate side-by-side with. Accordingly, the mandatory exchange of any foreign currency with a bond note is a prima facie deprivation of property rights.

“Money is property and a bond note, not being money, can never substitute money. There is therefore an infringement of the right protected by Section 71(2) of the Constitution to the extent that holders of foreign currency will be forced to use or hold bond notes in the place of their money,” she said.

“Whatever the respondents may seek to say about the bond note, it is clearly a disguised Zimbabwean dollar that is being introduced through the back door. The law does not allow a back door approach. If they wish to re-introduce the Zimbabwean dollar they must follow the law and call it by name given its demonetisation.

Children took most of the time reciting poems praising Mai Magaya and giving testimonies of how their lives have been changed after joining the ministry.Among the crowd were Garikayi Zindi, Maxwell Nyakonde and Antony Tole who were delivered from the “spirit of madness”.

“I am here to thank you for celebrating my birthday with me today and my message to you is that; it is written in the Bible that God created Adam and gave him a suitable partner.

Today I am blessed to say that I am the suitable partner of your father Prophet Magaya ndini ndakavakwanira…”said Mai Magaya to a thunderous Amen from the crowd.

Visitors from the region also gave their testimonies assuring Prophet Magaya that they have grasped his vision.

When Prophet Magaya entered, the crowd knelt down as he led them in prayers. Some of the congregants shouted

“Mudhara vauya” as he took time to meet all the people who attended the service.

Import ban triggers massive smuggling at Beitbridge

THE ban on some foreign import goods in Zimbabwe has resulted in the increase of incidents of smuggling by informal traders and private people along the southern border across the Limpopo River.

Beitbridge Border Post between South Africa and Zimbabwe is one of the busiest ports of entries in the Africa which operates on a 24-hour basis.

Travellers who use the border into Zimbabwe are now required to only carry a limited number of some goods.

BeitbridgeThe Harare government introduced the ban last month and some Zimbabweans and South Africans protested against the move.

Some identified goods such as blankets and cooking oil are banned for import in Zimbabwe and people who want to take them into the country should apply for a special permit.

Zimbabweans are now using undesignated roads along the border where there is no fence and where army patrols are weak to smuggle the goods and farmers have now had to upgrade their security.

They are operating daily using open trucks which are loaded to the limit.

Across the river, the smugglers find some Zimbabwean smugglers, waiting to receive the goods.

The smugglers say they sometimes fall prey to criminals known as ‘maguma-guma’ who rob them of their goods.

Some travellers say the new trade laws in Zimbabwe have left them with no choice but to use illegal means.

Farm workers along the river say they too just cross the river when they want to visit home in Zimbabwe as there are no patrols. The fence is also badly damaged and in some areas the entire fence is down.

The workers say in the event they find soldiers patrolling, they simply pay them a bribe.

Residents of villages along the Zimbabwe-South Africa border say they feel unsafe and have accused the police of failing to stop the smuggling of goods.

Senior Policy and Dialogue specialist at Gender and Trade network, Lebogang Pheko says the ban on the import of some goods may lead to loss of revenue for informal traders.

“The value of goods that is going to Zimbabwe from SA is about R700 million (US$50m) a year. Those are the ones which include formal imports and exports.

“So this has certainly created a little bit of chaos because there is a blanket ban on all import goods from South Africa…which may result in a loss of revenue.”

Pheko says the increase in the smuggling of goods between South Africa and Zimbabwe is not good for the economies of the two countries.

Meanwhile, the South African Police Services (SAPS) say it is not their responsibility to patrol the border. The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) was not immediately available for comment.

Top AFM Pastor caught up in s-e-x scandal congregants revolt

WORSHIPERS at AFM Springville met in Ruwa yesterday against their leadership with the youths running riot following reports that their leader was suspended from the church for se_xually attacking a female congregant.

Pastor Oliver Makomo who heads Springville sect in Ruwa was suspended after the Harare provincial leadership convened and agreed to relieve him of his ministerial duties over the allegations.

His alleged se_xual attack on the congregant came to light after the woman wrote a letter to AFM’s overseer. Maron Mashumba, chronicling how the man of cloth se_xually abused her.

H-Metro is in possession of the decommissioning letter dated August 11 2016.”It is true. There was chaos here and as you can see we failed to hold a church service because of that matter.

“There were some reports that the provincial leadership wanted to announce the suspension of Pastor Makomo over the issue (se_xual abuse).

“Congregants” were not happy and there were some mixed reactions over the news which ended up with revolts.

“There was real chaos.

“You should have come here at around 9am to witness what was happening, “said a church member when H-Metro visited the church.

Overseer Mashumba could neither confirm nor deny Pastor Makomo’s suspension and yesterday’s incident saying the matter was still under investigations. He said:

”I am not in the position to comment over the issue to the media.

“It is still under investigations and I cannot shed more light on a matter which is still under investigations.

”I am not the church’s mouth piece and not allowed to talk to media.”I could have referred you to our Secretary General but he is not yet informed about the matter, “said Overseer Mashumba.

In her letter, the 22-year-old told Overseer Mashumba that she approached Pastor Makomo with a prayer request after having problems with nose-bleeding. The woman said she sought for an appointment through a phone call and the ‘man of God’ invited her to his church office. It was on this ‘first date’ that Pastor Makomo kissed and fo_ndled her.

“Mufundisi Makomo vakandiudza kuti ndiuye kuoffice kwavo.

”Ndakaenda kuoffice ndakusvika ndikanamatirwa asi pandakanamatirwa apa maive muoffice mavo, secretary wavo aivewo muroom makewo, zvakadaro vakatanga kundimbundira vachiisa muromo wavo pamuromo wangu vachindiudza kuti you will be fine, “reads part of the letter.

The woman further alleges that she became friends with the Pastor’s maid and started sleeping over at his house. She claims, in her letter, that one evening the Pastor sent her a message while she was at his place asking if she was still a vi_rgin.

She said that the pastor Makomo invited her to his house on December 26 2014 after she had not attended the youth Christmas party hosted at his house. It was on this night that the Pastor allegedly ‘deflowered’ the woman after she slept at his house.

“Vakawuya kuroom kwandaive ndakarara vachindibata mazamu vakandikisser vakandinwisa zvavakandinwisa asi handina kuwona chibhodhoro chacho.

“Vakandibvisa bhurugwa ndokurara neni mudzimai wavo aive mumba umu asi handina kusheedzera kana wandakaudza izvi zvose……,”reads part of her letter.

The woman also claimed that Pastor Makomo would pester her to send to him nu_de pictures. She also claimed that the man of cloth’s action forced her boyfriend to abandon her. Efforts to get a comment from Pastor Makomo were fruitless after a man, who claimed to be his son answered his phone.

The man promised H-Metro to get hold of his father but the phone was later switched off by the time of going to print. Meanwhile, the woman’s known boyfriend, name withheld, confirmed the development saying he was forced to separate with his lover following the reports.

”I heard about the matter, I heard that she wrote a letter but we have since separated following those reports,” he said.

Chiyangwa warns referees that they must reject any attempt to involve themselves in the manipulation of matches

Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) president Philip Chiyangwa yesterday warned local football referees to remain professional and that they must reject any attempt to involve themselves in the manipulation of matches

Chiyangwa, who was appointed chairperson of the referees committee last week, made the remarks in a familiarisation meeting with the local match officials at his offices yesterday.

And with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs often complaining of biased and poor officiating this season, Chiyangwa reminded the referees to be professional and impartial or else they will face the music.

“Referees are a very important component in football, administration and management. When the referee is on the pitch he is the boss together with the linesman. You are the custodians of the game,” Chiyangwa said.

“So, you as referees, you are the major managers of people’s peace and stability. You should be responsible when taking care of business. If you come to stadia with preconceived ideas then you will be in trouble.

“You will not officiate again let alone enter the stadium. You will only watch football from the television.

“Referees are not assemblers of violence. Because you have this onerous responsibility of managing peace and stability; you should execute your duties professionally and without bias.

“I have heard of monies that have been exchanged prior to games and I am saying never ever get yourself caught up in this sort of things. Fifa has asked us to set up a security section that will be solely responsible with the performance of the referees and they are even paying for it.”

The Zifa boss said he hopes to have a fruitful tenure in charge of the referees committee.

“I want to be able to be proud that I am your chairman and I am willing to work with people who understand where I am coming from. I don’t want to see any referees implicated in match fixing,” he said.

“If you do your job properly it actually strengthens my position with respect of defending you and the decision you would have made

Phillip-Chiyangwa

So the decision to have you here is to let you know who your boss is and I am your boss not as Zifa president but as the chairperson of refs committee.

“I deploy you every week and I don’t want to have my decisions queried because of your poor officiating. Remember you are governed by Caf and if you prove you are good they will recommend you and appoint you to take charge of continental and World Cup matches.”

Chiyangwa further challenged the local referees to maintain high standards to enable them to earn recognition to officiate in Africa.

“We want the local referees to know that Zimbabwe is not your limit. Do not do things that bring embarrassment to the game. Refs should not hog the limelight at football matches. Let people talk of the game and not the referee,” Chiyangwa said.

“I have wanted to have a chat with the referee who took charge of the Highlanders/Chicken Inn match to establish what really transpired because there are a lot of conspiracy theories coming out. So I am saying work with me so that you don’t become news after the match.

“A lot has been said in the last few months regarding refs’ officiating and we are saying it must stop.”

The Zifa boss also said an inquiry team has been set up to establish what exactly transpired between the Highlanders and Chicken Inn match adding that those who were behind violence will face the music.

“I am told of the incidences that have happened somewhere in the mine, here in Harare and most recently in Bulawayo where I am also going to visit with my inquiry team to determine what really transpired during the Highlanders-Chicken Inn match,” Chiyangwa said.

“We are going to take drastic action with respect to those who perpetrated violence against the police or the public in general. I have instructed my team that side to procure photographs for us that show who was doing what.

“I can see from video clips sent to me that there were police officers with their dogs on the pitch and people started throwing missiles pushing them away from the stadium. So we want to find out who they are before we take action.

“So don’t be surprised that the action is going to be drastic because we do not tolerate any nonsense with respect to people who go to stadia only to perpetrate violence. Football whether it’s being played in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen it brings peace.

“Even when we hear of stories of violence in these countries, there are always teams that are playing football. So you can see outside the fact that the countries are at war football is the biggest manager of peace.

#MyZimbabwe Youths clash with police

#MyZimbabwe, an MDC-T youth appendage, clashed with riot police this afternoon in Harare over an illegal demonstration in which the youths intended to deliver a petition to the Ministry of Home Affairs, at Mukwati Building, over what they were calling ‘end police brutality now.’

The youths participating in the demonstration were singing derogatory songs which ridicule the police force. Some songs labelled the police as state’s official terror group used to stifle freedoms in the country.

The protestors provoked the police force that responded by tear-gassing and hitting the demonstrators to disperse them at the corner of Causeway and Fifth Street. Speaking after they were dispersed by riot police, one of the My-Zimbabwe organising team member said they had recorded maximum success by merely staging the demonstration since a message was sent.

“My friend, nowadays you either belong to the opposition political parties or the ruling ZANU-PF. This thing about being non-aligned and participating in demonstrations which are spontaneous is a myth. We congregated at Harvest House where we were getting strategic instructions and proceeded to march to hand over the petition to the ZRP ministry at Mukwati. Why should lie to you? The prime intention was full-filled; to provoke the state into action which they did by harshly dispersing us. Then what will the world say at the United Nations General assembly where Mugabe is going soon,” thundered the official.

Police responded to the youth protests immediately as a way of restoring law and order in the capital city where they blocked traffic and disrupted business.

“The state could not watch helplessly rogue citizens engaged into illegal protests which put the state security organ to test. Civilians are urged not to challenge the forces as they will face the wrath of the state in the process,” police officials said.

Peaceful demonstrations are a constitutional right for all citizens. The My-Zimbabwe youth protestors lost it when they accompanied their demonstrations with songs which provoke the police. In the process of exercising one’s rights, no-one is allowed to provoke or interfere with the rights of others.
