Cassper Nyovest responds to Insults at his Family

$

Insulting another person’s parents are considered a low blow, dangerous territory and strictly off-limits. But AKA clearly didn’t get that memo nor the one about respecting our elders.

The rapper went on his wildest Twitter rant yet this week where he mercilessly mocked his nemesis Cassper Nyovest, whom he claimed he would “beat the f*** up” in a proposed boxing match later this year. Perhaps it was part of Mega’s tactic to taunt Cass into signing the contract for the match or he has some serious anger issues (or immaturity issues, claim his fans).

Cassper Nyovest

In any case AKA crossed the line. In a number of tweets, AKA called Cass’s father a “dead beat dad’ for letting him drop out of school”, his mother was hit was “his Ma se p***” and his entire family told to “suck my d***”.

In other news – AKA confesses – Bonang Matheba is a goddess

As we speak, a lot of Tweeps are confused and they think AKA aka Supa Mega’s account got hacked or maybe he was high on drugs by the time he was tweeting all the fun and nasty stuff about Cassper Nyovest, and dragging his ex-girlfriend, media personality and businesswoman Bonang Matheba. Read more

Prosecutor General makes U-turn on corrupt cartels State Capture statement. Kumbirai Hodzi, speaking at a POLAD function in Bulawayo last month said the cartels have used their financial muscle to evade prosecution. However, Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi has said Hodzi told him that he was misquoted by the media.

Prosecutor General Kumbirai Hodzi has recanted his statement made in Bulawayo that it was hard to prosecute cases of corrupt cartels as the prosecution is captured.

“The first thing that I want to say is that the Prosecutor-General never said that the prosecution is captured. Secondly, the Prosecutor-General believes that he was quoted out of context.

“If I am captured, it does not translate to the Prosecutor-General being captured. As an individual, I am answerable for my own deeds, so if I do some misdemeanours, perhaps that is what the Prosecutor-General referred to but in conversation with him, he believes that he was misquoted and what was reported … he was misquoted because they did not take in context what he was saying,” said Ziyambi Ziyambi.

“I believe that there is a difference between the office of the Prosecutor-General and the State. He prosecutes for the State so if he indicates that there is something that is happening; he is not speaking per se about his office. I believe that our Prosecutor-General is very independent; our prosecutors apply their minds when they are doing their jobs without any due influence for anyone.”

Singer Gary Tight CD auctioned for US$2k

Singer Gary Tight CD auctioned for US$2k. The 25-year-old dedicated the album to his late mentor Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi who ushered him into the music world at Sam Mtukudzi memorial show. “I salute the late Dr Oliver Mtukudzi with the belief that he had in me; imagine Dr Tuku is a brand that almost everybody on earth cannot hesitate to work with or read about.

Garry, son to Willom Tight, was all smiles last Friday when his debut album Nzira Yangu was auctioned for US$2000 at EastPoint. “I dedicate this album to the life he lived, we are who we are because of his passionate contribution to arts,” he said. Garry said he will always cherish the late national hero who also gave him tools of the trade.

“Mudhara Tuku blessed me specifically by giving me this expensive acoustic guitar, by tolerating with ease to record audios and videos with him. “His home studio was my home and is still my home. “I cannot say I featured Mudhara Tuku, I will be burying myself alive by that dream.

“Deep down from me, Mudhara Tuku launched me, Dr Oliver Mtukudzi launched Garry Tight before his death. “He really loved me so I must not let Mudhara Tuku down, I must be the future of today,” he said. His manager Max Mugaba praised the youngster for a polished album. “This is Garry Tights’ first album, this time, Garry Tight really tightened his musical strings hence his first album launch today (13 March 2020).

“He used to do and release a lot of Afrobeat music singles, and he is now finding himself after having been mentored by a Tuku trajectory, I think you remember that Garry was part of the late Tuku’s late son Sam Mtukudzi’s band automatically meaning that Mudhara Tuku was his mentor, so it is so befitting that he had to have this soulful album going this Afro-pop music.

“It will take him a bit of time, yes because even the likes of Jah Prayzah, Macheso, Zhakata , the Charambas all took their albums, you find Macheso has over six albums, Jah Prayzah has over four albums, and for Garry, this is his first album, Nzira Yangu, that is the name of the album.

“It is all about his future, not about where he is coming from, we are expecting people to warm up on it because on a couple of weeks, he gonna be dropping a video of each of these songs after every fortnight,” he said.

Mugaba also praised the production team that helped Garry on his debut album. “Garry started working on Nzira Yangu last year 2019 around September. “It was entirely recorded in South Africa by Munya Viali, who was Dr Tuku’s Blacks Spirits keyboardist,” said Mugaba. On whether there are any projects he recorded with his late mentor, Mugaba said:

“You will find out very soon, it is not just Mudhara Tuku per say, with Mudhara Tuku, they had a father and son relationship, so there is a lot that we have to expect from him. “I don’t know what really it is, it is a special project.” One of the guests at the launch, Dumisani “Chief Dums” Borerwe who bought the CD for US$2000, praised Garry for his talent.

Garry Tight

“Garry is our Zimbabwean Ray Phiri, I have parted away with these thousands of as the only way to make Garry’s mentor Dr Oliver Mtukudzi’s dream on Garry Tight come true one day.

“Remember Garry was blessed with an acoustic guitar by Dr Tuku before he eventually died, a thing we never witnessed Tuku doing to all those who were around him. “I was also excited by the blessings he Garry got from many artistes like Seh Calaz, Extra Large, Mono Mukundu who toured the world with Dr Tuku as Blacks Unlimited band‘ s lead guitarist,” he said.

Warriors coach threatens to quit. Zifa is said to be owing to the technical team and players for the period they were in camp preparing for aborted 2020 CHAN finals. The players were promised RTGS200 per day.

Warriors coach Zdravko Logarušić is reportedly at loggerheads with Zifa over unpaid allowances after the break of camp due to coronavirus yesterday.

H-Metro heard the players were told to use their own money to travel from their respective bases to Harare, which Zifa promised to reimburse but failed, at least as of the time of the fallout. Zifa spokesperson Xolisani Gwesela refused to comment.

“We don’t discuss players or technical staff’s welfare with the media,” said Gwesela. Loga is said to have told the players not to leave until they are refunded the transport money as well as receiving their allowances after a confrontation with chief executive, Joseph Mamutse.

This happened after their training session with Dynamos at Gateway High School yesterday. “The coach was not happy. We were promised money yesterday and the money was not sent to the players. “After the game, the coach was not happy with how ZIFA operates. The coach was shouting to the man who deals with our finances.

“He was fuming; he didn’t even give him the time to talk. He was saying you are a liar just give us our money,” said a source. The source, added Loga threatened to quit if Zifa fail to pay them.

“The coach was saying ‘if Zifa doesn’t pay me I am going back’. He said he wanted his players to be paid their dues. “Loga was fighting for himself and the players. They had an agreement and Zifa failed to deliver. They left together as a team and went to the hotel.

“He made it very clear that they would not go anywhere until Zifa pays them. He was taking pictures threatening to send them to the media,” added the source.

It’s only been four days, but media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba’s recent tweet shows that she’s doesn’t like to sit idle. Taking to her Twitter page, the “House of BNG” owner said that she is “bored” of being at home after self-isolating for four days. guys, I’m so bored. And it’s only day 4! Tjooooooo…..#StaySafeStayHome,” she tweeted. The tweet was in light of the recent coronavirus pandemic where people were asked to avoid being out in public and rather stay in their homes.

Queen B, who we know is always busy on the work front, seems to be uneasy with just staying at home and relaxing while the virus comes under control. Her fans then came up with some ways the “Being Bonang” star can keep herself entertained, including drinking her favourite “champompo” or going live on Instagram for a question and answer session, to which Matheba responded, “Oh yes. That would be fun”.

One Twitter user added extra spice to the comments when they suggested that Matheba call an ex (AKA), because “he needed her”.

Chicken Inn defender Nekati praises Warriors coach Loga. Warriors and Chicken Inn right-back Ian Nekati says they have adjusted to new coach Zdravko Logarusic’s philosophy. “Camp has been amazing, so far so good. I cannot complain. Everything is going on well as planned.

Nekati was part of the 30-man Chan squad that was in camp preparing for the suspended 2020 CHAN finals. The team played three friendly games in their preparation camp. Nekati said camp has been great.

“After playing more friendlies and the training sessions we are having a clearer picture of what is required from us. “We have now adopted to the coach’s philosophy and its now easier for us,” said Nekati.

The 2019 soccer star finalist said it has been a great experience working with coach Loga. “He is a very friendly coach, but also a man of no-nonsense man when it comes to work. He is always emphasizing on hard work and we are all giving it to our best.

“I can safely say it is the best local team that has been assembled and yes it’s competitive as well,” he added. The the-30-year-old defender also took time to clear the air about his move from ZPC Kariba to Chicken Inn.

It was rumoured he had a fall out with ZPC coach Godfrey Tamirepi. “I left Kariba because my contract had expired. There was no bad blood between me and Tamirepi. “Chicken Inn came with a good offer and I took it. Chances came once in a while.

“I also wanted new challenges. “My targets for this year is to achieve something great, I need to win something for my team and win more accolades,” he added. “I started playing at school then I moved to CAPS Juniors from 2009 to 2011, I later went to Twalumba FC in D1 in 2012 to 2013, from 2013 to 2017 I played for FC platinum then I joined ZPC Kariba and now Chicken Inn.

“My highest moment is when I played for the national team vs Somalia at the National Sports Stadium, the lowest moment was the game between ZPC Kariba and Dynamos last year, when I missed a penalty.”

Sniper Storm speaks on Zimbabwe’s Independence

Sniper Storm speaks on Zimbabwe’s Independence. As the country celebrates 40 years of independence on April 18, Sniper Storm said Independence brought good things politically, socially, economically and religiously.

Zim dancehall sensation Donald “Sniper Storm” Chirisa says independence brought positive traits in the music industry. “From my own understanding, the term independence means a condition of being free or the state of being free from the control of other people.

“It has brought the feeling of belonging to this nation and it has, to some extent, solved the issue of an identity crisis. We now have our own genre Zim dancehall. “It has brought positive things especially to music circles,” he said. Sniper Storm who is one of the pioneers of Zim dancehall believes Independence has its positive and negatives.

“There are positive and negatives things which were brought by the Independence but good overrides badly. “Just after Independence, there were recording companies which used to carter for our studio time, marketing and distribution.

“It’s now different nowadays because we are now paying on our own and also market our works. “Almost everyone now have studios and I opened a studio in 2013. “Winky has a studio, Jah has Tocky has the list goes on. A Record Company might not even own one.

“A recording company is like a Grain Marketing Board of music because you need to drop your albums there for distribution and marketing. “They even cover costs of production marketing and even tours,” he said.

He added: “Recording Company interface with radio stations and media houses lifting the weight from the musicians. “They also distribute and sell to the masses,” said Sniper Storm who has eight albums to his credit. The long-serving chanter told this publication that he is currently in the studio where he is recording songs.

“These days I am spending much of my time in the studio where I am recording songs.  “So far I can only say they are just songs but I can’t rule the fact that there is a possibility of an album.

“Somehow I feel the singles cannot be enough to quench the thirst of my fans. “Many of my fans have been asking for quite a while now when my next album is coming and it’s like I have been starving them. “There are many things to be considered when working on an album and it requires a lot of things so for now I cannot give details,” he said.

Cheated husband goes after boyfriend’s wife demands s.e.x from her

Cheated husband goes after boyfriend’s wife demands s.e.x from her. A deeply hurt Tarirai Chimutwe, a police officer stationed at Hillside Police Station in Bulawayo, incensed that his wife Ronica Chikaanwa, was being “sampled” by Soul Chandigere, decided to retaliate by also seeking a tryst with his (Chandigere)’s wife only identified as Mai Tino.

In the wake of discovering that his wife of 12 years has been cheating on him and probably reeling from a storm of emotions, a Bulawayo man took the bold but rather unusual step when he decided to revenge by allegedly demanding s..ex from the wife’s lover’s wife.

To Chimutwe time will be the best answer to heal his broken heart, after Chandigere’s wife allegedly turned down his demands. In a fit of pique, Chimutwe started insulting Chandigere’s wife claiming her husband left her for his wife because she was not bathing and was also boring in bed.

In an emotional response, Chandigere’s wife hit back while bragging that she was now madly in love with another man who was satisfying her adding that her husband was also terrible in bed.

She went on to mock Chimutwe saying his wife and his alleged girlfriends were also leaving him because he had a small “bedroom gun” that is not good enough to satisfy a woman.

Seeing that his revenge mission had hit a brick wall, Chimutwe then sued Chandigere for disturbing his peace by allegedly sleeping with his wife. In his suit, Chimutwe whose wife’s cheating ways seem to be too much for him passionately pleaded with the court to stop Chandigere from sleeping with his wife.

In a more shocking confession, Chimutwe who stays at Ross Camp said Chandigere and his wife were always meeting at their matrimonial house in Cowdray Park for romps.

“I am applying for a peace order against Soul Chandigere who is my wife’s lover so that he stops abusing me by sending insulting messages. I also want the court to stop him from going to our matrimonial house in Cowdray Park where he often goes to sleep with my wife.

“He is also threatening that he will cause my wife to move out of Ross Camp to go and stay in Cowdray Park so that they will freely see each other without disturbances. “He is also threatening me saying he is a spiritual man and will use his spiritual powers to separate me from my wife. On 29 December 2018, he also headbutted me when we met at Sekusile Business Centre.

May the court bar him from going to my matrimonial house where he meets with my wife and has s..ex..ual intercourse,” begged Chimutwe while insisting that he still loves his wife despite the fact that she had cheated on him.

Nasty-messages-exchanged

Chandigere, however, rubbished Chimutwe’s claims saying he was no longer in love with his wife. “I did not assault him. He is the one who came together with five other people and attacked me while accusing me of being a thief. He also struck me with a stone.

“I am also no longer in love with his wife and I have never been to his matrimonial house. I, however, admit that I sent him the threatening messages because he was now proposing love to my wife,” responded Chandigere.

Chimutwe was plunged into deep emotional devastation when his application for a peace order was dismissed by the court.

Earlier this month Chimutwe was also shamed by his wife who claimed he forcibly grabbed her private parts before he repeatedly squeezed and pulled them so hard that she was left in excruciating pain and unable to go to the toilet for three days.

This was after his wife allegedly refused to have … with him and also as punishment against her for having affairs.

Because everyone needs to stay indoors to avoid the coronavirus pandemic, it’s causing some frustration in families. Children are making their parents feel crazy as self-isolation means they’re under each other’s feet. Kelly Khumalo found a great way to keep her children busy – she’s instructed them to sanitize their toys.

The coronavirus is causing a lot of upset – not only because it’s claiming lives all over the globe and upsetting world markets.

Kelly Khumalo

Parents are finding themselves frustrated with children who are getting annoying as schools have closed and no one should be venturing out from their homes.

Although there is a lot to do with computers, cellphones, tablets, and televisions, kids can still become a handful if cooped up inside all day.

Kelly Khumalo

Fortunately, Kelly Khumalo found an ingenious way to keep her children busy, at least for a while.

Kelly responded to a parent admitting to hiding in her room from her two kids.

Story of my life, gave them a job to sanitise their toys.

Although this is a light-hearted approach to the virus, things are getting serious. The first child in South Africa to get the virus is a Grade 9 student from the Western Cape. Parents are staying cautious, not willing to risk their children’s lives.

Briefly.co.za reported that Health Minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize has revealed grim expectations for South Africa.

In the midst of a national disaster, the minister revealed estimates for the spread of the coronavirus predict a dire situation. Mkhize estimates that over half the population, between 60% and 70%, is expected to contract the virus.

So far, the World Health Organisation says 17 deaths were recorded as a result of the coronavirus in Africa within a period of 24 hours.

The organization also confirmed that 33 countries in Africa have now recorded cases of coronavirus as Gambia and Mauritius reported their first.

Egypt tops the coronavirus index chart in Africa with 210 cases, followed by South Africa with 150 and Algeria with 75.

Horror scenes as suspected Coronavirus suspect beaten to death. The Daily Mail reports that the man, named locally as George Kotini Hezron, was going home after visiting a bar in the village of Msambweni in Kwale County when he was attacked yesterday.

In a terrible development, a man who was suspected to be suffering from the deadly coronavirus was beaten to death by a mob of youths. The attack took place in the popular tourist village of Msambweni in Kenya.

Residents suspected him of having the virus and decided to set upon him as he walked home at around 9 pm, according to local media. The vigilante mob argued with Hezron and accused him of having the deadly disease and threw stones at him before fleeing.

Hezron was rushed to Msambweni Subcounty Hospital where he died of his injuries.  County police commander Joseph Nthenge said it was not known if the victim had the virus and warned against falsely accusing people of being infected.

He told Kenyan newspaper The Star: ‘Someone reported that the attackers saw the man staggering. They approached him, started an argument and beat him up.

‘Kotini met a group of youths and an argument ensued as the youths took advantage of his drunkenness and started accusing him of suffering from coronavirus.’

No arrests had been made so far and investigations were still underway, police said. Msambweni is a fishing village popular with tourists because of its long white sandy beaches.

Kenya’s health ministry has so far confirmed seven cases of coronavirus. The East African nation has imposed strict travel restrictions on foreigners, closed school and colleges as well as banning public gatherings.

ED: No going back on land reform and Zimdollar

ED: No going back on land reform and Zimdollar. President Mnangagwa on Wednesday stressed that land reform was irreversible and the Government would not substitute the local currency — the Zimbabwe dollar — despite machinations to destabilise and destroy it.

He made the remarks when he addressed a rally at Bumhira Secondary School in Nyanga North after having commissioned Nyakomba Irrigation Scheme earlier in the day.

President Mnangagwa’s remarks come in the wake of a recent move by the Government to enact a law which invoked a clause stating that indigenous farmers whose farms were appropriated by Government under the Fast-Track Land Reform Programme can now apply to repossess their land under the newly-gazetted regulations.

Farms which were protected under Bilateral Investment Protection and Promotion Agreements (BIPPAs) and Bilateral Investment Treaties (BITs), including those owned by indigenous corporates, could also be returned to their previous owners upon application for repossession.

Interestingly, the clause did not seem to go well with MDC-Alliance legislators, Tendai Biti and Innocent Gonese who on Wednesday challenged Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi and Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement Deputy Minister Vangelis Haritatos to explain why they were returning land to white former farmers.

The move was a surprise climbdown from the MDC’s original stance on the land reform, which their party had always objected to and even sought the intervention of Western governments through the imposition of sanctions.

In terms of Statutory Instrument 62 of 2020 — Land Commission (Gazetted Land) (Disposal in Lieu of Compensation) Regulations, 2020 — former landowners under these categories can either opt for repossession or monetary compensation. The President said the country had sanctions imposed on it for repossessing its land.

“They have imposed sanctions on us because we repossessed our land. Let me be categorically clear that the land reform programme is irrevocable. Our people got their land back, with or without hunger; with or without bumper harvests we took back our land. We will have our land forever.

“Nothing will change that. Nobody will remove us from our land. So those who want to re-engage with us must admit that the land of Zimbabwe belongs to the people of Zimbabwe. There is no negotiation on that issue. We went to war because of the land. The land is the heritage for our future generation. We must teach our children to be patriotic. Our children should love their country just as Americans and Chinese love their countries,” he said.

President Mnangagwa said the Government would not go back on the use the Zimbabwean dollar — as the country cannot develop without its own currency.

The country, he added, would continue implementing measures to safeguard the Zimbabwe dollar against the backdrop of various machinations to destabilise and destroy it. “To prosper as a nation, we must have our own currency. We cannot develop and prosper without our own currency. They may plot to destroy our currency, whatever they do, let me make it categorically clear — we will not go back on the currency issue. We will continue until our currency stabilises and strengthens. It is only with our local currency that we can develop as a nation.

The American currency can only develop America, the Rand can only develop South Africa, the Pula can only develop Botswana, the Kwacha can only develop Zambia and the metical can only develop Mozambique. And in Zimbabwe, can we continue to depend on other people’s currencies? No. We will continue to promote our own currency,” said President Mnangagwa. The government recently introduced measures to stabilise foreign exchange trading, exchange rates and inflation.

The planned policy interventions were part of the de-dollarisation roadmap and came as a result of a recent surge in the black market exchange rates driven by a bulge in Zimbabwe-dollar holdings by a small group of corporates and an official foreign exchange trading platform that needed to be more transparent and effective.

The President emphasised that while the new dispensation was willing to engage, and re-engage, it would not tolerate a process with conditions attached. “The new dispensation is eager to engage and re-engage. We will continue to engage those who never engaged with us. We are saying let us reason together and see where we wronged each other and made us enemies. We must engage with all willing countries worldwide.

“Members of the international family, let us engage, let us dialogue, let us have a conversation and move forward. Zimbabwe wants to be reintegrated into the family of nations, so we must engage. And when we say we want to re-engage, we mean there are some who were engaged with us who have disengaged,” he said.
